Brilliant lovely place at a beautiful location made your stay so peaceful and relaxing..

We spent 2 nights at the lodge, great location, easy to find. It was just a pleasure just to sit there and admire the view. Peaceful and calm surroundings will let you rest and charge your batteries. Place spotless clean, spacious and warm.

Alison was a wonderful host for her place from giving us excellent directions (we came in after dark and still found it easily) to checking us in personally. We communicated with her that we had left later than planned and would be getting there late so we certainly didn't expect a personal check-in, but it was much appreciated. The place itself is a charming croft and a small distance from Spean Bridge into the countryside. The views are gorgeous and the interior is welcoming and well equipped. For us it was a central location for exploring - .5 hour to Fort William, 1.5 hrs to Glen Creran, and slighly less than 2 hrs to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skybridge to the Isle of Skye, etc. We would hike all day and come home late to make a last meal and sleep. Having a washer and dryer in a mud room area was fabulous with mud on our hikes. We would definitely stay here again both for the scenery and the hospitality.

Sleat View pod is just lovely :) We had a mid week stay for a week of sea kayaking in and around Arisaig which is beautiful. The pod itself is calm, peaceful and spotless. We were instantly relaxed and on holiday mode from the moment we stepped in. We made use of the local amenities which are in walking distance and enjoyed a bit of train spotting! On our last morning (an early start) a Deer was stood looking at us from the grass opposite which made our week. We loved Sleat View pod - thanks both for a lovely stay.

This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.

Elaine a été une hôte très réactive et arrangeante. Elle a été adorable et sa caravane est très agréable, le cadre est magnifique, en pleine nature avec plein d'animaux tout autour. La caravane est fonctionnelle et agréable à vivre (un peu humide par temps de pluie mais c'est presque rien). Je recommande ce logement pour une expérience en plein coeur des Highlands !

Beautiful home, with spectacular views and absolute peace and tranquility. Difficult to leave because we had such a relaxing time. The house has everything you need and the surrounding area is stunning. We would definitely recommend and hope to go again one day soon.

Thanks Margaret and Seumas for sharing your home with us! It was spick and span, couple minutes drive from the town and most lovely of all it has a great view of the lake. We spent mornings just looking at the lake’s wildlife. Thanks for meeting us when we arrived and left and welcoming us with treats as well. Our family felt the warmth and kindness from both of you. Overall, thanks for making our trip to Portree a memorable one!
