Peaceful perfection. Spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Had everything we needed for an memorable family stay. Kirsten was a tremendous host and very responsive. She went above and beyond to answer our questions and ensure we enjoyed our stay. We felt welcome and at home. It was a joy to share her home and we plan to return.

Relax at the Lake House Inn!

Unser Aufenthalt (4 Wochen) war das Beste was uns passieren konnte. Beth ist eine super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns immer ein gutes Gefühl gegeben hat. Es war jetzt kalter Winter und wir kamen in ein sehr gemütliches warmes Zuhause, das bestens ausgestattet war. Die Dusche war ein Genuss und es gab immer heißes Wasser. Die absolute Krönung war noch der Billardtisch . Es war eine wundervolle Zeit, ein Glücksfall!!!! Danke Beth❣️

This home is as charming as Moberly itself. Sets on the corner just off of downtown. Everything you need within walking distance. (Driving distance because it was cold). If you missed staying at Grandma's house growing up-here's your chance. The decor matches the hardwood floors and pocket doors. Just lovely!

Custom home with loads of indoor and outdoor space

The home is amazing - we had a wonderful time here and enjoyed all the amenities and the views. We celebrated our twin girls’ birthday and it couldn’t have been more pleasant the way the downstairs is laid out is — it’s very open and airy and the views from the back sun areas are really breathtaking. Also it was fun to watch a movie with the theatre style seating. The hosts were also extremely responsive and easy to reach for any questions we had. Any time we are in Columbia, we would love to stay here again. It’s definitely five stars!

Charming English Tudor Cottage—No Cleaning Fee

As a child growing up in Sedalia, I spent many hours and made many memories in this house. It was my grandmother's house, and I appreciate that Sara thoroughly researched the details that helped her keep the integrity of the house intact. She was very prompt in answering any questions I had and was very thoughtful in her preparation for our stay. The house was very clean and well equipped and the beds were super comfortable. Thank you, Sara, for a delightful weekend! We will definitely visit again!!

Kit Carson’s Cottage at the trail walk to downtown

This was our second stay at Amanda's Kit Carson's Cottage and, like our first visit, it was everything we expected and more! It's a perfect location to restaurants and the trail and Amanda was an exemplary host. We'll be back!

Country Retreat-Walkout Basement

This place was affordable, immaculate, and super nice. If you're staying in that area, it's easily twice as cheap, three times as nice, and four times as roomy, compared to ANY 5 star hotel room. We were visiting our son at the Air Force base. We will definitely be back

Had a wonderful stay, we were there for a long while and it made the perfect house. The location is nice and would be beautiful in the summer so close to trails and a couple cute places to visit.

Everything was perfect. There was more than enough comfortable space for 10 people to sleep, eat, shower and hang out. The house was incredibly clean. We cooked and ate a few meals at the house. Everything was there that you needed to cook. They thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay with a lot of people. It was also so close to Mizzou campus and downtown. Matt was incredibly flexible with our check out timing. I would highly recommend this or any of their properties, and look forward to staying here again.

Lois is a friendly, helpful and responsive host. Plenty of room in the tiny house (not so tiny), beautiful surroundings. Lois was gracious in allowing us an early checkin. Recommend for those who want comfortable accommodations off the beaten path.

My husband and I drive school buses for a living. We wanted to spend a few nights on spring break in a quiet, secluded place. We are very happy with our choice! Anita is a wonderful hostess and made us feel right at home. This is also a wedding venue, so if you know of anyone getting married, check it out! Thank you for everything!
