We had an incredible family weekend with two young children. The house is absolutely beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like home. The kitchen was the heart of the house for us, fully equipped with everything we needed. The unique charm of the house was a delightful touch, and the kids had a blast exploring both indoors and out. Marcus, the host, went above and beyond—he even came out to find us when we had trouble locating the entrance. He gave us a comprehensive tour and made sure we knew how everything worked. The pool area was wonderfully private, and the hot tub was a lovely addition. The rooms were very comfortable, with stunning furniture and textiles. The grounds were breathtaking, providing the perfect setting for al fresco dining in a peaceful and glorious environment. Shame we hadn't planned a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

A lovely set up and stay for the price, however it should be made more clear that the pool isn’t in the house and is in a shared complex. I think this is a fairer approach, I only found out the pool was in a shared area when I went for a pre arrival visit.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Me & my friends had a great weekend here. The facilities were excellent (the indoor swimming pool, pool table, darts board, table tennis, cinema room and outdoor space) and enabled us to have a very fun weekend with multiple activities without having to leave the home. Additionally Gary was an excellent host, responding swiftly to any questions and queries we had. Would recommend to anybody considering.

great cottage in a fantastic location with Carsington Water in walking distance and a lovely country pub too! Cottage had everything we could have asked for and our host was really helpful when we needed them. Highly recommend :)

Donna place is even better than photos , it was warm and spotlessly clean as soon as I walked in . It was also really quiet i heard no noise at all, the bedding and towels spotlessly clean and smelt lovely, kitchen had everything you needed to use make food , own parking spot around the side really easy to find and clear instructions for access and area thank you for having us

We booked the house for a family weekend visiting in Derby. Great central location. Fantastic house with high ceilings and original period architecture, tastefully decorated. Loads of space to relax in and was a perfect stay. Highly recommended.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The property was breathtaking, with stunning views that we could admire for hours. Every detail had been carefully considered the house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful extras that made our stay feel truly special. The Bluetooth speakers were already set up in both the house and the bar/games room, creating an instant, cozy atmosphere the moment we arrived. Richard gave us a warm welcome, greeting us upon arrival and walking us through everything we needed to know. Sophie was fantastic always available to answer any questions and offering plenty of great recommendations for nearby shops and restaurants. They were truly fabulous hosts! We would love to stay here again in the future. ❤️

Perfect stay in Buxton. Great communications from our hosts before our arrival. Super clean and every amenity provided that we needed to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Especially appreciated the hamper and other things to get us going. Would love to return and will definitely recommend to others as a great place to use as a base whilst exploring the local area.

Roberts' place was ideal for our business trip – incredibly spacious with super comfortable beds. The location was excellent, making it convenient for everything we needed. Communication was seamless throughout our stay. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely return on our next visit to the area.

The property met our requirements which was within walking distance to my daughter's. A very comfortable property with the space that we needed. Alison was a great host and would certainly stay here again.

Lucy was great - always responsive and helpful/clear with instructions. The place itself was fantastic, I was there with my wife, brother and some friends over New Year, and we were very comfortable. We had our dogs as well, who loved the garden! (Though note that the garden is not fully enclosed). We had a wonderful time - thanks Lucy!

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Charlie & Rosie's house was fabulous & as the hosts they were very good at communicating! It was comfortable and peaceful, just what was needed. Perfect location, quiet & easily walkable to all the shops & restaurants! 10 out of 10! 🙂

Home from home. Ideal base for the Midlands. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful private garden. We highly recommend staying there.

As a large group of 24 people this accommodation was the perfect set-up. The surroundings are beautiful and a very convenient distance from Sheffield city centre. Debbie was an excellent host - very responsive and friendly and thoroughly helpful in helping with the logistical arrangements with a large group (for example helping with taxi’s or offering their minibus service) which was massively appreciated. It was wonderful to learn about how revenue from this accommodation is reinvested into charitable activities for getting young people involved in outdoor pursuit activities.

Penny is a lovely host who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Her home is comfortable, clean and as described. Cake, coffee, condiments was provided. Was a great weekend catch up trip with friends. A massive 5 stars!!!

As a group we really enjoyed our stay at the house with plenty of space for the group. Everything was close by, supermarkets bars and restaurants. Private parking for the cars was a bonus. The town of Leek is very nice.
