From the moment I arrived, this Airbnb exceeded all my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could possibly need (and then some). The host clearly put a lot of thought into the little details—fresh towels and even a personalized welcome note. The bed and couch was incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. I’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnbs, but this one truly stood out for its warmth, charm, and overall comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free experience!

I have stayed at Richard's Still Wind Retreat many times, and I look forward to it each time! The actual space is beautiful, with Richard's artistry and creativity evident everywhere. The private deck built just for Still Wind is my favorite place on earth! The tranquility and beauty of nature from that vantage point is breathtaking. Richard is also very responsive to any needs you might have. I would recommend Still Wind to everyone, it's an amazing place to stay!

This was our 2nd time staying here. Great view & perfect location to ski/snowboard & never have to get back in your car until its time to leave. Great location & has everything you need for a trip. Thanks again for another great trip to sugar mountain resort!!

Denise was incredible! We found ourselves in another place owned by someone else and it was not quite what we expected and I spoke to Denise and she was able to accommodate us at 9:00 pm at night. She was unbelievably helpful! This house was absolutely perfect for a large group of adults and teens and the location to skiing was awesome!

We had an amazing stay at Robs Airbnb. My friends and I wanted a getaway for the weekend to spend time away from our routine and get some skiing in. The place was really clean and met all our expectations. Super spacious and lots of room for 8-9 people to sleep. Rob was also super responsive when we locked ourselves out, he immediately responded and helped us get back inside. Overall a fantastic experience.

This is a lovely, new, sparkling clean, comfortable, modern house. It was really well equipped. The kitchen is probably one of the best equipped air bnb kitchens I have cooked in. Beds were really comfy. The house is in the small quiet town of Damascus, right on the Creeper trail. We rode the Creeper Trail one day and spent the second day exploring the fabulous Grayson Highlands State park. All in all a great weekend.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

Anne-Marie's place was absolutely perfect for our large group of 11 guys who were in town for a hike. There were more than enough beds to accommodate everyone and the linens were clean and comfortable. I was particularly amazed at how well-equipped the kitchen was. We have a chef in the group and he commented that he had never stayed at a rental that had as much in the kitchen as this house does. It was perfect for our gathering, a very short drive into Boone, and we got a lot of use out of the pool and poker table. We were there during March Madness and pre-loaded YouTube TV subscription was perfect for watching games while the fire roared next to it. 10/10 would stay here with a group again.

Had a great experience staying here for our anniversary weekend! Everything we wanted to do was about 20+ min drive and it was great to come back to their homey place after a long day. The hot tub was a huge plus after a long day of hiking!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Marianne communicated a snow storm that happened right before we arrived and gave us feedback on whether we could still arrive on time or push our stay back a day. Her house was beautiful and a picture perfect mountain vacation home. Secluded yet close to the town of Banner Elk. My kids ages 16 to 5 all were entertained and loved it so much. Her kitchen was especially nice with many cooking appliances and very nice utensils and bakeware. My kids favorite game was the shuffleboard downstairs. So many things to offer a variety of ages. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We will most definitely come back again. I highly recommend any family stay here for a peaceful winter vacation!

This was a cute and cozy cottage. Our family of 5 (and pup) enjoyed the cabin home so much. Even though it was small, everything was laid out and designed in a way that we had plenty of space. The place was clean, organized, and the instructions Connie left were thorough and helpful. The community center is about a 5 minute drive and we enjoyed the game room, hikes, and playground. We even went paddle boating on the lake as there were several options to take into the water. Highly recommend the Blue Spruce!

The place is perfect for a quick ski getaway. The host was extremely responsive and always was grateful to answer my questions. Check in process was straightforward and easy and directions were always clear! Would definitely stay again!

This Air bnb was perfect for me n my family .. everything was perfect for my family and me. Everything was clean, and the views were breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook instead of leaving out for food. Plus, the host was so kind when I asked for help looking for some main attractions and the area. Scott did a great job and the unit was well appointed. The balcony was a nice morning option and have stocked coffee and sugar is always appreciated. Pro Tip: The lift outside the balcony is the top of a blue run so plan to drop off beginner skiers at the lodge to warm up. There is nothing like taking the last lift of the day all the way up this ski in ski out condo.

Katie was friendly and professional throughout the process. The condo was awesome, we stepped out with our ski eqpt and started skiing right at the top of the Oma slope. Will definitely come back for a repeat visit!

We couldn't have asked for a better place! It was even nicer in person than in the pictures. Such a warm, well decorated place. The candles were so enjoyable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Meghan was easy to reach when needed. I would highly recommend staying!
