Location, location, location!! This cabin had a beautiful view. It was very peaceful and private with easy access. It had a homey feel inside. It was clean and appliances were in working order. Ac/heater were working great! We had some snow furries and freezing rain during our stay but this was the perfect place to wait it out. 15 min from Boone! Close to shopping and great restaurants. Had a great time!

Our family had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. One of the most well stocked places I’ve stayed at. Plenty of toiletries, cookware, dishes, etc etc. The cabin was very clean at check-in. Easy to use wood-stove, with a wood shed stacked floor to ceiling with tons of wood already cut to use. Host was very responsive. My daughter especially loved the multi player arcade game upstairs. VERY private and secluded location…. Most cabins I’ve stayed at promise privacy and seclusion and end up being very misleading- this one is what it says it is. Plenty of extra blankets if needed, beds were very comfy. Hot tub was enjoyable, grill on the deck worked very well, I have zero complaints. We will probably be booking this place again. If you’re looking for a true getaway with actual privacy and seclusion, this is the place to stay.

The view from the cabin was exceptional. Exactly as described. Very private and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, even had champagne glasses! And everything was very clean. Howard was very responsive as well. The only downside was getting there was a bit tricky. We weren’t quite sure if we would ever get to the top of the mountain. I guess that’s what makes the view worth it! Luckily, we printed Howard‘s very detailed directions and were able to find it. Perfect weekend getaway.

Great little spot for rest and relaxation. Great view. Close to town. Donna is a wonderful and responsive host! Will be back.

This was our second time staying in the cottage. My husband and I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The house is perfect and has everything you need. The hot was awesome, very clean and nice features. We will definitely stay again!

Buena Vista was perfect! They were helpful throughout the whole process including any questions we had during our stay. The house was clean and exactly like the photos. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house is beautiful and the fenced in side yard was absolutely amazing! Walking out on the back porch from my bedroom and hearing the water and feeling the crisp morning air was so awesome! The front door is right at the road so be cautious of small children or pets! The house could use a good deep cleaning! And the upstairs is a bit creepy! LOL! But still a wonderful place to stay! The host always answered my questions quickly! We really enjoyed ourselves! And would love to stay again!

The day of check in Matts place had an issue, but no problem they jumped right in and gave us another place to stay, very accommodating to any needs we had. Thank you so much. The River House was just a delightful place to stay. And the whole staff was great. Thank you all.

We had a wonderful stay at the Parkway Farmhouse. Ellen gave us great directions to find her place. We were treated to a well maintained home and yard. We had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner for our little family. We look forward to booking again and exploring more of the area. Thank you!

That was a truly amazing stay!! Everything is perfect - house, location, mountains, air.. House is quite big, cozy, comfortable, private and has its unique atmosphere. Some antique items like radio, record-player etc make this home really special. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need even for a long stay. The house also has a gym room, sauna, so you can do your fitness routine even when traveling. Location is good - it's very private, and you have only few neighbor houses nearby. At the same time, it's not far from town - it's about 10min drive to Boone, and ~25min to Blowing Rock, where you can enjoy great restaurants and mountains views. Kristen is really great host, and she will make you feel like at home. We arrived at Xmas time during the snow season, so delivery services were not available for few days, so Kristen even delivered us some products for few days, which was really appreciated!! Generally everything was amazing, and we would love to come again!!

Sadie’s Place was a a really peaceful and quiet getaway. It had a lot of space and plenty of beds for big groups and the property has some beautiful views and nice walking trails. It is convenient to West Jefferson and Sparta and there’s plenty to do in the region. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan to again!

Extremely beautiful cabin and location. The view was amazing got to watch numerous deer feed in the field across the street from the balcony. Enjoyed listening to the river rushing by every day. Was able to experience snow the first day and even go to do a little sledding. Steve was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was peaceful and very clean. Great stay and will definitely be back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We were there for 4 nights. The place is clean and has everything you need for your stay including a coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven and everything you need to prepare a meal. There aren't really any places close by to eat unless you drive 30 minutes into West Jefferson so make sure you bring plenty of food and beverages. This house is extremely secluded in the middle of wooded areas with a few other houses close by and the roads to get there are mostly gravel and poorly maintained in some areas. If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you. You'lle enjoy sitting on the decking that completely wraps around the entire house and one section in the rear of the house has a mountain view. I recommend bringing your own comfy folding lawn chair to sit outside.

Absolutely loved the cabin. I would definitely rent again if available. We rented it twice back to back with my family. We enjoyed every moment we were there. Our firat trip was to snow ski and tube with my kids and the second trip was to celebrate my sisters 50th Birthday which she enjoyed. Thank you so much Kimberly for allowing our family to enjoy your home. You have allowed us to create the most beautiful memories!

Very comfortable lots of space very relaxing would love to stay again

We had a great stay at this condo, Avery was very helpful and communicative and answered any questions I had very quickly. The views were stunning, the area was beautiful, we would definitely love to come again.

We had the best time at Nicole’s place. The condo is very spacious, extremely clean, peaceful, and has beautiful views. We loved hanging out on the porch and winding down inside by the fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. We took advantage of the playground and indoor pool located on the resort. The location is super close to Main Street and right by the blue ridge parkway for many hikes. Nicole is super responsive for any questions. We will be back!

Fue una experiencia única y mis amigos y yo nos fuimos muy felices , el apartamento estaba espectacular , la fogata le da un toque muy lindo , el Lugar muy tranquilo , nos quedó cerca a sugar Mountain Resort.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Loved this cozy cabin! Easy walk to the ski resort, & coffee shop. Perfect size for our family of 3 adults and our fur baby. Cabin was super close to the ski resort and centrally located to every restaurant, coffee shop & store we had on our bucket list to visit in Beech Mountain. . The view & sound of the creek was an added bonus . The gated wrap around deck / porch was my fav part of the cabin. Check in was a breeze and hosts were super detailed with directions & instructions . Hosts had super clear communication and gave fantastic local recommendations. 10 out of 10 recommend & hoping to book again for next year’s trip!

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.
