The pictures do not do this property justice….the home & landscaping are awesome! It was too cold & windy for us to spend much time outside but that swing sure looked inviting, lol. And those who ventured to go out loved the hot tub! We booked Michael’s place bc our daughter’s birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year and having the double ovens, along with many pots & pans to cook with definitely made that task doable! One thing I wanted to share bc it’s usually important for our group when we travel, is the bedroom locations. Bedroom 1 is the only one located on the lower level. Bathroom is unattached. Bedroom 3 is the primary on the main level, with an attached primary bathroom. Main level also has a half bathroom. Bedroom 2 & bedroom 4 (bunk room) are on the upper level. Upper level tended to be a little cold for us while sleeping, but again, it was super cold & windy during our stay. And running the main level fireplace forced that hot air upstairs. We had a great & relaxing stay!

This was our second stay at this beautiful mountain house for New Years. It is well appointed and the location can't be beat - if you don't walk down to the river every morning, you're missing out. Our large group felt right at home (including our dog!) and everything we needed was available. Don't hesitate to book this house if you're in need of some nature and solitude.

beautiful place! we definitely want to come back. the layout of the bedrooms was great and the house seemed very quiet even with kids running around. loved that there were toys for the kids to play with. super responsive and friendly host!

The house itself was fantastic. There was everything you needed, and more. The hot tub was amazing on the cold nights. We very much enjoyed our stay. One issue would be the house itself is pet friendly, but there is no yard, nor anywhere close to walk your dogs. We did have to walk down to the main rode, and walk through strangers yards to get to any type of grass. The lack of light made it especially unsafe during the night.

The home and grounds were pristine, private and beautiful. We enjoyed the space for our animals and family to spread out and then come back to together. The fire area outside with the hot tub was a huge win for the grandkids. The inside was perfectly appointed and well stocked. We will return here as a family! Perfect fit for our big growing family.

We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful cabin. It was very peaceful and secluded with amazing views. The house had games, puzzles, and poker and pool table which were great for gathering after supper. Sherrie was very responsive and helpful during our stay. I definitely recommend this house!

Cary’s place was a hidden gem. I’m glad we were able to find the cozy house for our stay. Cary was responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again

Our family had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. One of the most well stocked places I’ve stayed at. Plenty of toiletries, cookware, dishes, etc etc. The cabin was very clean at check-in. Easy to use wood-stove, with a wood shed stacked floor to ceiling with tons of wood already cut to use. Host was very responsive. My daughter especially loved the multi player arcade game upstairs. VERY private and secluded location…. Most cabins I’ve stayed at promise privacy and seclusion and end up being very misleading- this one is what it says it is. Plenty of extra blankets if needed, beds were very comfy. Hot tub was enjoyable, grill on the deck worked very well, I have zero complaints. We will probably be booking this place again. If you’re looking for a true getaway with actual privacy and seclusion, this is the place to stay.

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect getaway. The views outside were stunning, offering a peaceful and private setting to relax and unwind. Everything was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities available and well-maintained. The location was ideal—secluded enough for privacy yet within a 30-45-minute drive to a variety of activities, including snowboarding, skiing, hiking, dining, and local attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat!

Donnie and Whitney were very responsive and were a pleasure to deal with. The cabin is very secluded and quiet. Just what we needed to unwind and relax for a long weekend.

Cabin is beautiful! We had the pleasure of staying during a very snowy cold blast! The mountain and road were covered in snow, I’d highly recommend snow chains if staying in winter months, I was in a 4wd SUV with off road tires and honestly felt like we were pushing the limits. But what a great experience, would love to stay at the dancing bears cabin again and enjoy the cities and other mountains around!

Cabin was beautiful & peaceful. Just as described. Host were very responsive & gave clear & helpful check in/out instructions.

Christiane’s place was lovely. It’s in a nice, quiet little community. There’s plenty to do and keep you entertained right in the house if you’re looking for a nice getaway from home. The hosts were also very accommodating and allowed us to push our dates back due to hazardous driving conditions for ice on the roads during our original travel date.

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the frogs by the river, and the kids loved the game stash, bunk beds, and hot tub. It was spacious enough that we didn’t feel on top of one another, but cozy at the same time. The cabin was well maintained, and had everything we needed for a few days away from it all. We’d love to stay here again!
