We had a great stay for a family member’s birthday. William was responsive and ready to help if needed. Property is beautiful, home is well-kept with modern amenities. Hot tub was a cozy bonus! Great for relaxing quality time with loved ones.

The house was clean, spacious, and exactly like the pictures! It was a wonderful experience with a wonderful host!

Lisa’s place was wonderful. It was exactly as described. We love being able to fish off both docks. Having access to them row boat and the kayaks were really great. My son was out on the water in the kayaks every day for hours exploring and fishing. The outdoor area was so beautiful and serene and having the ducks being around you at all times was great. We also used the tiki hut a lot, which was another great amenity. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to come again in the near future. Thank you Lisa for such a wonderful stay, it was a great and memorable experience for my son and I.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful . The views were breathtaking, and the privacy provided the perfect escape we needed. The amenities were absolutely more than perfect, making our stay the best. Lady Jackie and John were incredibly great and professional, and was available at all times. The Christmas stay at this Airbnb was a holiday to forever remember. The decoration was was more than perfect and enhanced our holiday spirit. I will definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone wishing for a beautiful get away. We will definitely be returning for. This is the perfect getaway. Lady Jack and John is the best.

I was fortunate enough to be able to book Amy’s place for Christmas and it was perfect. Large enough to have the family together with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. There isn’t one thing I would change about our stay. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I was lucky to briefly meet Amy and had a great chat she is very friendly. We will certainly book this house again. Thanks Amy

Diane was a great host! While we were staying at her lovely home, our home in Florida, also an Airbnb, flooded in Hurricane Helene. Diane was so understanding and worked with us. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short to mitigate the flood aftermath, but we would love to return on the future. What a great home and host!

This was our 2nd stay and once again it was what we needed! It was so peaceful being away from the city and gazing up at all of the stars at night on the deck. The cabin is very spacious and clean. Every morning, I enjoyed walking my dogs up and down the gravel road surrounded by blueberry bushes. I loved the farmer stand at the Botanist & Barrel which is self serve 24 hours. We would get popsicles, breakfast sausages and root beer without having to drive anywhere. The cabin is close enough to Burlington and Hillsboro with just a short 20 to 25 minute drive if you need restaurants. We will be back again soon! :)

Cozy cabin on a peaceful river - I loved watching the birds across the river. The cabin is actually on a small tributary and there's a small island full of trees and wildlife between the tributary and the main channel. It was so quiet and peaceful, zero sounds of traffic. There was a heron colony right across from the cabin, it was so incredible to watch the different bird species settle in at night to go to sleep. We visited Morrow Mountain State Park which was also beautiful with the interesting history of the Uwharrie Mountains. The cabin was cozy and comfortable - clean kitchen, comfy couch/loveseat/recliners, cute porch with a porch swing. Logs were provided for the fire pit, as were lawn chairs that we could carry out to the dock.

Robert was a great host from beginning to end of our week stay. A beautiful property with a very accommodating host. Next time we are in town this will be the first place I look for availability on. The house had so much character and if you’re willing to take a walk the property speaks for it self.

Great house! Wonderful host to work with, very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for our big group, nice beds and bathrooms, open onsite parking, such a neat backyard, great location, highly recommend!

Freddie’s place met all out needs. Close to blue stone dive resort and the master bed room was very spacious. Kitchen was well stocked and our dogs enjoyed the freedom to sniff around and take in the mountain air. Quiet and peaceful with only a short drive into town. Great way to start the day with a cup of coffee on the the front porch swing. We will be back!

My son Henry, aged 16, and I enjoyed Diane’s lovely little hideaway in the North Carolina woods tremendously. It’s a sweet and roomy cabin, furnished with a charming vintage mix and a great, spacious slate-tiled bathroom. Just a hop, skip, and a jump to all the action at UNC Chapel Hill, where my daughter is a freshman. Highly recommended!

10/10 will stay again. Great location with an amazing view and a great, easy to work with host!

This cabin is in such a beautiful spot! Drinking coffee while sitting on the back porch overlooking the creek is magical.

I had an issue at check in and Carolyn was delightful and extremely responsive in helping me get it resolved. We accidentally left some important items and she also helped us get them shipped back to us. On top of how beautiful the lake and the property is, it was a wonderful stay!

Great location! Loved the property and peacefulness of the River and tranquility of every view and fire pit.

What a great retreat and with the added bonus of access to the National Forest. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated, quiet, cozy and an outdoor shower to boot! For my stay, as a camper, that was fun and her fire pit is huge! You can cook on it, enjoy the view, or boast a good hardy fire. The hostess was gracious, accommodating, and available without hesitation. This will be my family’s go to for a semi-rustic weekend.

Idyllic and whimsical, this place was beautiful, exactly as pictured, the grounds and sculpture and art were wonderful. It gave a serene and peaceful atmosphere. We had a quiet and relaxing visit.
