Loved the authentic eco credentials - plastic free toiletries, washing up cloth, eco friendly products. The shepherds hut was real cosy and comfy. Bore place is a wonderful spot with far more nature than I would have expected in the southeast! Chris was super friendly and helpful and this was a fabulous stay.

Beautiful little shepherd's hut in a lovely area - a perfect countryside getaway for the weekend (or longer). Huts were clean and really well insulated - would stay cozy in all weathers. Kellie was the perfect host and really helpful - would highly recommend!

molly dishwasher is in an absolutely stunning location the pictures don't do justice to how stunning this place is your surrounded by the most beautiful views in the most peaceful location, me and my family had the most amazing 2 nights staying here and the little personal touches added on top just make it that much more special, moppy is an amazing host and let the boys help feed the animals on the last night which they absolutely loved, there is another hut on site but you cant see them so you have amazing privacy. I can see why lots of people who stay here are on there 7th visit as its a place you'll want to re visit after staying. we will defiantly be back soon, thank you for an amazing stay.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Shepherds Hut. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and relaxed with a nice Barbeque ( which was provided!). The highlight was lighting the fire pit in the evening and huddling around the flames. Kellie was super helpful, and the kitchen/ bathroom had everything we needed. We would love to come back!

I would recommend skylark to anyone looking for some peace. I went alone. I felt completely safe. I knew the farm house was close by but I also had complete privacy so i was able to fully relax. Having the fire pit was wonderful. I used it every evening and sat under the stars. I loved having my own kitchen and bathroom. Moppy was always responsive. I needed more logs and they arrived promptly. She left plenty of food in the fridge. Eggs. Bacon. Sausages. Croissant. Muesli.Milk. Butter. Good coffee etc. I didn't want fro anything at all. Moppy even took me to the train station on my return. A lovely woman and a lovely family.Thanks, Moppy

Very lovely stay in Daisy Hut! Area was very beautiful and peaceful. The farm was lovely to walk around. Chris was very responsive and attentive throughout the stay and made everything very easy. Would definitely recommend!

We loved Hannah's place. The hut is exactly like the pictures, really comfy, we felt at home. Hannah is really friendly and helpful. Amazing place for dogs and to connect with nature Definitely we would go back.

What a fantastic place to say. This Shepherds Hut is definitely luxury and Andrew a perfect host. We loved our two night getaway and particularly loved the hot tub! The sheep in the next field had had their lambs, who were very entertaining, who needs a TV! Loved it and would recommend to everyone.

What an absolute gem of a Shepherd's hut! It's tucked away in a very private spot, giving you the luxury of wandering through the loveliest, most whimsical woods right next to it - we didn’t see another soul the whole time. The hut itself is spotless and equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more!). Kate has truly thought of everything and makes you feel incredibly welcome. We spotted all sorts of birds, rabbits in the morning, and even some deer! We can’t wait to return, hopefully for an even longer stay next time!

Absolutely beautiful showmans wagon, perfect. The setting is private and peaceful, and Keeley is a wonderful human. Highly recommend 👌

We had the loveliest time at Vicki and Miles’s place - cannot recommend enough. Thank you so much again for everything (from the lovely breakfasts dropped round each morning, to perpetually warm wood-fired hot tub, to expert walking route advice, to a very very helpful lift from Berwick station). The shepherd’s hut is so cleverly designed, with everything thought of, & is in such an idyllic spot - the views are incredible. We were lucky enough to see a barn owl from the hot tub, as well as (we think) some roe deer while we had breakfast on our last morning!

An amazing property to stay in so close to town centre and the proximity to steam trains made the stay. We enjoyed have access to a hot tub.

This is a perfect escape if you fancy a couple of days in the country. Serene countryside and the added aspects of lambs in the field beyond was picture perfect, you felt like you really had a little safe haven. The hut itself has everything you need, the wood burning stove was really useful as it was a little chilly at night and gave great ambiance. The bed itself was incredibly comfy, my friend and I easily slept 9 hours a night in the hut! We took their recommendations in the welcome pack and went to a few of the restaurants and farm shops mentioned, all phenomenal! Especially the three chimneys for a roast dinner! Beautiful walks nearby, close enough to Rye and Camber Sands if you fancy a day at the coast. The compostable toilet was smart and effective, didn’t smell at all! Also, the cake and apple juice left for us was so tasty and a real treat! Already thinking about booking again - thank you Sian

My partner and I book this place last minuet for us and our two young girls. We’ve been to places like this before else where and we were really impressed and happy with how child friendly this place is. From a kiddie toilet seat cover for the compost loo’s to all sorts of ball games provided - as well as a small kiddie kitchen our girls absolutely loved playing with. We only stayed for an evening as it was a stop over but wished we could’ve booked for another night! Both beds were comfortable and the hut was very clean - Tilly has thought of everything even to the point of having children’s books. All cutlery and essentials were there too. If you’re a parent thinking about booking with your kids I really really recommend it. Absolutely stunning views, games to play & such a homely feeling in the hut. We will absolutely be booking again near the summer time for a longer period of time.

Really friendly host, went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Really clean shepherds hut with built in bathroom. There was fresh milk in the fridge on our arrival and the shepherds hut was heated to an ideal temperature. There was even a pizza van on site on the Saturday night! Would definitely stay again. Graham was a lovely host, the cabin was clean, comfortable and very well decorated. The stay couldn’t have been any better!

We were wowed by the view and surrounding areas and the size of Lucy’s garden! It’s a very lovely and private space, we were only there 1 night but wished we had booked for longer. Lucy was a very responsive host and made us feel super welcome to her home. We will definitely be back!

Charlotte was very friendly and helpful when I got lost and helped me find where to go, she met us as we drove in and showed us where to park. Charlotte showed us to the Shepards hut which was so beautiful and clean. Everything looked brand new! We had a lovely walk around the orchard and saw the sheep and horses. Our stay was extremely peaceful and lovely. Thank you Charlotte, we plan to return soon!

Lovely relaxing stay with the beautiful surroundings and the fantastic hot tub . Lots of space for outdoor games, pond dipping for newts with my daughter and comfortable beds in a lovely hut. All amenities you could need and privacy to relax and get away from it all and enjoy the surrounding nature . We loved it late nights in the hot tub and bbqs on the fire pit . Can’t recommend it enough. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

The photos just don’t do this place justice, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos if that’s even possible. Great communication, Kelly was happy to answer any questions we had and even set up the hot tub before our arrival so we could use it on the first night. The views are amazing, the village is beautiful. The bus into Canterbury was easy to navigate and the dinner at the Kings Arms was amazing. The hut is beautifully set up for a luxuriously relaxing time and that’s exactly what we had. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Kelly and Robey, your hard work and attention to detail are much appreciated

We had such a lovely cosy stay here for a last minute Valentine’s weekend getaway. The shepherdess hut was gorgeous, beautifully designed and thought out, spotlessly clean and just super cosy and warm. We did a bbq in the evening which was a lovely addition. We had a great nights sleep and Rachel was so helpful with everything. Will be recommending to my parents to stay :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Willows Rest. The attention to detail was second to none and the lodge was pristine, with everything we needed for our stay provided. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and the bathroom was very clean. The log burner was a great addition and warmed up the lodge quickly. Overall so cosy and comfortable and it was the perfect romantic birthday night away (thank you to Victoria for adding the birthday banner) Victoria and her husband were very helpful throughout and very responsive on messenger. The fresh loaf of bread and eggs were a great touch. Thank you for a great stay and we will most definitely return.
