We had a wonderful few days of hiking and exploring from Jerri’s place with our college-aged daughter and our dog. This was such a cute and comfortable bungalow and the homemade muffins and cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. Jerri was super responsive to questions and offered several recommendations for things to do and places to eat that we enjoyed.

We enjoyed the cute house so much. Very clean, nice beds, it had many thoughtful items for us such as extra kitchen items and blankets, tea and coffee, salt and pepper. Great location by the lake. We were there in early November and had great weather but still too chilly to use patio or grill. It would be great to be there in different weather to use outside stuff. Lots to do and easy to get around. Great stay all the way around. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, we watched a DVD she had, there were lots of interesting books, we could walk to downtown, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals there. We felt right at home!

The place was comfy cozy and peaceful. The Northern lights were incredible right from the deck!

Great location in a typical ski rental for the area. kitchen was clean, great fireplace and three bedrooms with two showers and baths. Michael is a good communicator. I would recommend renting both upper and lower units at the same time for a shared group.

The place was exactly as described. Was in town for work excellent location. Great kitchen with everything you needed to cook. Will definitely be seeing if this is available next time we will be staying in the area.

We decided to have a microwedding here at Hale House with around 20 people in attendance. Since the house can hold a good number of those guests in the first place, we thought it was a great match. Lindsay was SO helpful and recommended so many local vendors we ended up using throughout celebrations. We also had six of our guests stay with us in the house and felt like the space accomodated all of us perfectly. All our guests kept commenting how lovely the space was and how unique and beautiful it was. It was easy to walk into town for our more able-bodied guests, fit all of us well, and made a perfect backdrop to a perfect day. Neither of us could have chosen a better spot. Would recommend to anyone staying in Bayfield and we will definitely be back.

We spent a weekend away in Bayfield with another couple and this Airbnb was perfect! We were in walking distance to everything, we were able to enjoy games in the evening and the peacefulness of this quiet neighborhood. Cute little Airbnb and hope to return again.

We had a great stay at Sundance apartment for a quick ski race weekend at Snowriver- Jackson Creek which was just up the road (I wouldn’t walk with ski gear, but it’s just a minute or two to get there by car). The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable- it was modern and updated which can be hard to find in the area. We arrived in a whiteout snowstorm and were still able to find the place with ease following the provided directions. We had two small children with us and it was a comfortable size for our family of four. Also to note— a pack n play fit easily in the bedroom which was very helpful. Would recommend this spot and would be happy to return if we’re in the area in the future!

Suzie’s condo was clean. We felt right at home and comfortable. The condo was beautifully decorated. It was close to a lot of restaurants and in walking distance. We would definitely stay at her place again.

Viv’s place was very homey - I loved all the local art throughout the space. Had everything we needed and was clean. Easy to find even after walking from the ferry without cell service. :) On our way out, we already wanted to plan our next trip back to Madeline Island! With the location, I highly recommend bringing your car (as Viv suggested) or at least your own bikes since the rental place closes early. I’d definitely stay here again but would bring my own pillow. The ones provided were firmer than I’m used to, but my partner had no issues! Thank you, Viv!!

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Erin's place was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. It's in a lovely, wooded setting and located near the quaint lakeside town of Bayfield. I only stayed a couple of nights, but the unit has all the amenities needed for a long stay. Highly recommended!

Paul’s place is very unique. It is an apartment in an old house which has been well preserved and taken care of. There is a beautiful view of Lake Superior from every room. Kathy has added sweet touches that make it homey, interesting and artistic. Kathy helped us with the heat and showed us how to access the cupola. You can see for miles. This apartment is accessed by steep stairs as is the rooftop view, so it is not for those with physical challenges. The kitchen is well stocked and is the heart of the apartment and we had a meal with friends. We loved our stay here!

The Outer Island Apartment was lovely as always. We enjoy coming up here annually for our anniversary and we are delighted each time we stay at Molly's place with a large covered porch, windows that show us the beauty of the great waters of Lake Superior, ease of parking, super comfortable king bed, a walk in shower, super comfy towels and robes, and a sweet kitchen space that allows us to prepare and reheat food, brew coffee, and chill our cold drinks in the frig. The Windseeker group is from our understanding, a woman owned management group and they certainly tend to their role with diligence, quick responses, extra touches, bright smiles, and a kindness that is a joy to experience. We will return, and hope they put us in the weekend for 2025 for us to celebrate our anniversary once again, in a peaceful and restful place. Gratefully, Kathleen & Brian

Great spot, right in the middle of the downtown Bayfield Main Street area. Very walkable and easy to find. Perfect for a family of four.

This was a great place to stay for our end of the season ski trip. A close 2-minute walk to the chalet. There is a lift even closer, but it wasn't running, presumably because our stay was the last weekend of the ski season. The condo was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Myron was super helpful and responded to messages within minutes. Being April, it wasn't cold enough to warrant using the hot tub, but it looked great. He offered to let us check out later since the cleaning crew wasn't arriving right at 11:00. Much appreciated! So much nicer to change in his condo rather than the chalet before our drive home. Looking forward to booking this condo again for our annual Michigan ski trip next winter!

We stayed during a snowstorm that dumped a foot of snow and Wendy made it really easy to add an extra night to the stay

Great location and comfortable space! Sleeping could get hot if you run hot at night, but ceiling fans and the window ac in the living room helped a lot. Loved how easy it was to access everything in town by walking. We had a car, but you could easily go without and rent a bike or moped right downstairs if you want to go to the state park for hiking or kayaking (which we highly recommend!).

This is our second time with Your North Vacation and it felt like at home, once again. The place was spotless and cozy. We loved the location right in front of Big Powderhorn and 15 min away of Snowriver. They had stuff for our dog and some other details that we loved! Would not stop recommending Your North Vacation for your vacations in the UP! Host was super responsive as I had some issues with my email during our check-in.

Spacious, clean, and well-stocked. Would stay here again.

Tania’s home was as described. It is a great location, spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked and in great condition. We were able to walk to everything and the balcony has a lovely view. We’d definitely recommend this condo!

Alexis and Luke are great hosts! They were very proactive in communicating leading up to our arrival and prior to our check out. Instructions for the lockbox, keys and garbage were very clear. We have stayed there before but for first timers, the instructions on how to get to the lodge were very clear also. They always had wood stocked at the entrance for the fireplace which was super nice. Very clean and cozy. It's ideal for skiing in and out at Black River Basin. We love staying at the Bunkhouse and will be back!
