Really nice little house. It was pristine clean when we arrived and it was easy to find and check in. Very quiet, peaceful and safe location. We felt very comfortable leaving valuables in the house. The house has a sofa bed which we don’t see in the pictures. The property is well located and the scenic view is stunning. The host is very responsive and checks in from time to time to make sure everything is going well. We have only experienced one problem during our stay. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi is very slow and unstable so we resorted to installing an e-SIM on our phones so we can plan our daily activities. I would highly recommend that the Wi-Fi service be upgraded.

Wow! What an awesome place! The design and architectural style of this house shows excellence in spatial layout, decor and functionality. It has a Balinese influence that is absolutely stunning with wood, bamboo and stone everywhere. Even the grout in the tile floors looks like bamboo inlay. Natural, comforting and inviting with all kinds of birds singing and playing in the backyard. Love the sliding doors. They open up the house to an already well proportioned space. With cool breezes and sweet views this is a really amazing house and property. Just a 7 minute very enjoyable drive to town. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. Really nice people.

After the first time we discovered Brian and Tracy's place we felt right in home, so we are regulars now. The place is great with more amenities than an average Airbnb. The pool is just perfect, water temperature is comfortable and refreshing for Atenas warm weather and the hot tub great for a relaxing evening. Tracey's place is spotless, well maintained and Bobby (her dog) friendly. On top of that she's a great host, friendly and welcoming.

We are blown away by the hospitality of Ursula and her husband, Erick. The home and property are beautiful and are in a safe, quiet, gated community. We also enjoyed seeing Guadi, the pet peacock. He was not bothersome at all and the chirping birds native to the area were so beautiful to hear each morning. What especially blew us away was Ursula’s husband , who actually spent the day taking us around the area of Sarchi. He gave us some history of Costa Rica, and took us to a bunch of small shopping areas/factories that create much of the art pieces seen around the area, which are a great part of the countries culture, history, and goods you will see in all the souvenir/tourist areas. Such a great experience and what a lovely person he was. The only bit of advice I will offer is to make sure you look over the house manual because Ursula offers a lot of good information that we wish we had took the time to review our first evening at the house, prior to attempting to order uber eats

Casa Colorful is a gem! Beautiful home, wonderful view of the central valley, great location just outside of Atenas. 10/10

This villa is a perfect getaway! Spacious, clean rooms with private bathrooms, views of the pool and nature. The wildlife, like iguanas and parrots, adds to the charm. Einny, the host, is super friendly! It's about an hour from main spots, but the drive is easy. Great for relaxing, bird-watching, and enjoying Costa Rica's beauty. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the place. Beautiful home. Description was accurate. Keep in mind there is someone next to your space in the same building and you can hear them if they make noises (singing, whistling etc). This is in a small city so there are dogs that bark and can be heard in the house, sometimes during the night and early in the mornings. However, we loved the spot and would definitely come back if we are in the area. Great space for the 4 weeks we stayed there. A grocery store with essentials a short walk from the house. Aida’s sister Dinorah kept in touch and checked on us often. She does not speak English but with google translate l we were able to communicate clearly. Definitely recommend.

La finca es sumamente grande, las habitaciones y aposentos muy amplios. La zona verde muy bien cuidada, piscina grande, muchas comodidades y la cocina equipada con todo lo necesario. La atención de don Juan siempre fue respetuosa, cordial y amable. ¡Volvería!

We loved the outdoor areas in this house. It was just a one night stay before heading out the next day, and we would definitely return. The kids had so much fun playing on the hammock, trampoline and little house, and the adults enjoyed the fully covered patio. Cristina was very responsive and helped us with dinner recommendations. The architecture and layout of the house is really cool, and there are a lot of amenities for kids. It was hard to get in and out with our bigger SUV, but we made it work. Our only downside was the downstairs bedroom and playroom with sofa bed do not have air conditioning, which is clear in the listing, but I missed that. However there are nice fans and plenty of screens on the windows and good airflow. It just meant we really heard the birds in the morning!

Perfection! 5 stars and then some! Rob was incredibly helpful before, during and after our trip. He truly cares about his guests and wants them to have the best stay. PLEASE take him up on his very generous offer of airport pick up and renting one of his cars. I foolishly turned him down and decided to rent at the airport. The driving near SJO is CRAZY. I regretted my decision immediately upon arriving at the car rental office. Rob checked on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect, and, of course, it was! Wojtek helped us find our way to the house and showed us around as well as came to say goodbye before we left. He was also incredibly gracious and does a superior job maintaining the stunning property. Both responded to our questions immediately. Do not miss the hike to el Sabio Macizo, the 450+ year old tree near the property. It is magnificent! The pool and view are beyond amazing! Delightful Druid and coffee awaited our arrival. Pura Vida!

Andres place was such an awesome place to stay! My wife & I stayed here on our last night of our honeymoon trip. It was really close to the airport and many restaurants and other things places close by. The house was beautiful comfortable and Andres was a really great host to work either way. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.🙂 We had breakfast on the rear deck in the morning and listened to the river it was awesome!

We loved the home and the care takers. Geraldo & Xenia were very kind and helpful. The house and yard are very unique (compared to Michigan). We absolutely would recommend and hope to return.

Our second time staying at Laura and Verny’s house and would happily stay again. It feels like home, and we love going to el arca to eat and see the botanical garden which is right up the street from the house. Beautiful views and comfortable space. Laura and Verny are great hosts who make it very easy to stay at their beautiful home that Verny built himself!

El lugar es hermoso y aún mejor que las fotos. Una casa amplia con varias habitaciones independientes, cocina super equipada, y unos muebles realmente lindos y camas cómodas. La ubicación es especial. La casa es segura y puedes caminar a restaurantes, supermercado, y también al parque La Sábana. Visitamos con nuestras hijas quienes la hamaca y de la pizarra para dibujar. Mikey fue super atento y nos ayudó con recomendaciones de restaurantes para desayunar. Volveremos cada vez que necesitemos quedarnos en San José.

The house looks exactly like the pictures and is perfect for a place to stay before going to the airport. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and right nearby the main Alajuela city with tons of food options. The host was always quick to respond and very helpful. There was some bugs in the place but other than that, everything was clean and the beds were very nice.

Es una muy hermosa casa, se encuentra en un sitio ultra accesible y cómodo. Rocio es muy amable y la comunicación con ella era rápida y accesible. Uno de los airbnbs que mas recomendaria.

Maria was great from the start. The price was great for the location, and she let us know our check in was flexible. We had people land earlier than expected and it was easy for them to check in…. But we all did have trouble finding the location the first time. The rooms and bathrooms were described accurately. There were two true master bedrooms with the beds + bathroom combo. It was nice to have plenty of bathrooms! The patio and hammock are a vibe, they had plenty of board games to be playing at night. And plenty of dishes for our large group’s meals. It was a great time!

La pasamos increíble. El patio y la piscina increíbles. La casa muy cómoda y bien equipada y limpia. Shell y Mónica muy amables y atentos Completamente recomendada.

Adrián's place was wonderful. We stayed for only two days and one night to visit the Blue Falls which is only 12 minutes down the street, but our time there was great! There is plenty of space, nice kitchen and bathroom and the back yard has a nature path that leads across a small bridge to a creek with a small waterfall. We and our three daughters enjoyed hiking to the creek and splashing around a bit. The back yard has nice wildlife and there were horses onsite that our girls enjoyed petting. We walked to a pizza place about 2 minutes walk from the home and it was very nice. There is a coffee shop about 5 minutes walk that was also nice for breakfast. Adrián was always responsive and helpful. We were able to meet him in person while there and really enjoyed our stay. Definitely highly recommended for those in the area!

Beautiful property, this is a gem and we highly recommend Jorge’s Place, he’s responsive, knowledgeable and all around made our vacation better… We will be back! Thank You Jorge
