This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

Superb location for walking to Univ Ave restaurants. Lovely neighborhood for walking. Quiet. Short drive to med ctr. Personable hosts.

Amy's place was wonderful - one of the few places we've ever stayed that was even better in person than in pictures. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for the 2 of us. The outdoor space was amazing, plenty of quiet spaces to lounge in the sun and walk around. The area was great as well, quiet but close to downtown, and Amy was a thoughtful and responsive host, we really appreciated her thoughtfulness. The one thing to note is that the Wi-fi could be unreliable - we both worked from the Airbnb, and made it work for the week, but something to note for future visitors. We'd definitely recommend this place and plan to come back next time we visit. Thank you Amy!

We stayed here to explore San Francisco and take day trips around the area! SF is about 20-30 minutes depending on what part of the city. Half moon bay is around 30 minutes as well. SFO is very close around 15 minutes. You do hear the occasional rumble of airplanes landing and taking off but wasn’t an inconvenience for us. This Airbnb is separate from the main house and you need to walk through the backyard to get there. We did find a couple spiders in the unit. Maybe because it’s an older home and surrounded by nature. Overall, we had a pleasant experience staying here. Parking is convenient on the driveway and the unit had everything we would have needed. Hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed our stay!

This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

I was surprised when we arrived that the space was a converted Garage. I was a little worried when we drove up but the space is beautiful. They did an amazing job it was spacious , clean and safe. The neighborhood is peaceful and serene. My girls and I loved walking through the neighborhood in the mornings and evenings. Communication was great the host was very responsive.We will absolutely be staying here again.

This is a gem of a stay in a fantastic location. I live close to Rezan’s place and had to move out of my house for construction. Finding a place that would allow me to bring my cats was hard. Rezan wanted them to be comfortable; she and her sister went out of their way to remove decorative touches that would be a temptation, tied up drapes, and put a beautiful cover on the sofa. The quiet, peaceful setting and fantastic bed combined to give me the best sleep I’d had in months. Rezan’s hospitality is unequaled. The pictures can’t do justice to the decor and gardens.

This is our second time staying at Ray's. Ray is a great host and always responsive to my requests. He has made upgrades to his home since our last visit. All of which were appreciated. We'll be back, Ray

Amazing spot to stay. Very peaceful, a short drive from cities. Our kids loved the games, books, and arts supplies! Would love to stay again.

Great host and amazing place to stay.

The location is fantastic. Within 5 minutes of walking you are in the open space nature and within 10 minutes you are at the ocean. My wife and I spent a whole day walking up and down the coast with one pitstop back in the house (because it was so close to the trail). The guesthouse is cosy but includes everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I had a lovely stay at Nick and Tien's place. It felt very private and cozy and was in a lovely area. Their place was furnished with everything that I could have needed.

This was a nice stay. Everything in the space matched the pictures. I really enjoyed how peaceful the space was. It was quiet, private, and easy to access. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a space to stay.

This is my 3rd or 4th time staying at Pedram's place and every time is perfect. Pedram is super easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is exactly what I want and has excellent appliances and layout.

Skavik's cottage, in their beautiful backyard was just wonderful! The space was just right for us. We normally don't stay in studios, but the way this was laid out worked out really well for us. He and his wife were always so accommodating and so kind. We had a medical issue, and they were so good about checking in with us to make sure we were doing okay. We felt very comfortable there and they have done just such a nice job with decor + with the outside spaces and garden!

I highly recommend Joyce’s place. It’s very roomy, private, and quiet. It’s a beautiful space in a nice neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, and a nice park just a few blocks away.

This place is perfect. The view is awesome. The deck is relaxing and it is very peaceful. Everything was great. The sheets are so soft and comfortable. I would stay here again for sure!

First off I want to publicly say Thank Betsey for everything!! Great location, easy freeway access. Very close to downtown for restaurants and entertainment. For extended stays it is the best!!

Silvia clearly enjoys spoiling her guests! The Studio is furnished with everything you need and more including a yoga mat, Echo Show for music options, coffee for the week, snacks and lots of other thoughtful items like bathrobes and slippers. The sleeper sofa and pillows are comfortable and it is quiet at night for easy sleeping. The shower is large with 2 spray heads and plenty of hot water. The WiFi works well and there is room for 2 at the workspace counter. Some of the appliances to be found in the kitchen - Kitchenaid Mixer, Vitamix Blender, rice cooker - totally outfitted with cooking/baking gear and utensils. The pretty view from the french doors and 2 sets of seating options on the patio enlarge the space, and luggage can slide under the sofa bed so it’s out of the way. Silvia responded promptly to any questions and was extremely accommodating to any requests that we had. Good shopping & dining is nearby. Great stay - looking forward to booking again!

Helen's place is roomy with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The dishwasher and washer/dryer provided added convenience. The location is just off busy Woodside Road with a Safeway market about 5 minutes away on foot.

First let me start by saying the pictures posted are exactly as the place! It’s street parking but felt safe as a residential neighborhood with plenty of parking. Kananu was very respectful & responsive within minutes if not seconds! Kananu’s place has everything you need to feel right at home. The host gave nice recommendations for what’s in the area for dining, fun activities for all ages & shopping. We had a small issue with the water heater making nose and she was able to get the issue resolved quickly without interfering with our stay. I would definitely recommend Kananu’s place to anyone traveling to the area and definitely will be back for another stay! Her place definitely makes you feel like you’re in your own home.

Great host, very quick to respond the place was wonderful and I enjoyed my stay there and will be definitely looking forward to staying here in the future as well five stars highly recommended!

Great place in the middle of the silicon valley

The place is around the back and is spacious. The kitchen is a plus as we could cook some breakfast. The place is very quiet and private.
