Had a lovely few days at Tim’s place. The location is excellent and the house is lovely.

We had a fantastic few days at Holly Cottage, they really have thought of everything! Instruction videos, chargers by the beds, lovely welcome tray of goodies and wine. The cottage is so tranquil with loads to do nearby. We highly recommend the museum quarter and the fruit market area in Hull as well The Deep and Beverley. The garden and hot tub are also great. A few people had mentioned rules in the reviews but they were all just sensible advice and common sense and not an issue whatsoever. We loved our stay and will be back, thanks so much for a lovely break ⭐

We had a wonderful 3 days with our two children. The cottage was very comfortable and everything was an experience. Beautiful artwork, amazing bathroom and our own outdoor space. We would highly recommend and we look forward to going back!

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

An absolute gem! We’re a bit fussy, but can honestly say this place was our favourite Airbnb ever. Charming village and surrounds and the cottage was exceptional. The little luxe touches (nice Champagne, for one thing) rounded out the perfection.

We had the most wonderful family getaway at this Airbnb! From start to finish, Wayne and Dave were incredible hosts. So friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They added so many thoughtful little extras that really made our stay special and memorable for the whole family. The house was spotless, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed (and more!). One of the absolute highlights for us was the amazing cinema room, our daughter absolutely loved it! It quickly became her favourite spot and was such a fun and unique addition to the stay. You can really tell Wayne and Dave put a lot of care and attention into making sure guests feel right at home. It was the perfect place to relax, spend quality time together, and enjoy a proper family break. We’d come back in a heartbeat and can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you again, Wayne and Dave, for making our trip so special!

We had a wonderful time, there is so much to do and the cottage is lovely. We all remarked how big the place is because the pictures just did not do it justice. We'll definitely be coming back!!

We had a lovely stay at Owl Cottage this weekend, while we were in Yorkshire for a friend’s wedding. The house was easy to find and well equipped and the host was very accommodating - thank you!

We had a great stay - the cottage itself was well kept and cosy. Close to Moors walking spots like Rievaulx Abbey and the coast which we visited. A few nice features make this one standout: appreciated the fireplace setup and ready for us to use at nighttime; made use of the tumble dry and line as we were half way through a long holiday; the parking is private and covered; Kay’s place is just next door if I had any questions; the town itself not as well known as nearby Whitby or York but really welcoming and stocked with indie cafes/bakeries.

Lovely accommodation - cosy, comfortable and warm with everything you need. Great to come back to after a day exploring the North York Moors. Pickering is a lovely town. Jenny provided lots of very helpful information. We had a great time - highly recommend this property.

We had a really great trip. We didn't travel far for this trip but it was an excellent base for us to to explore and have a balanced break. Easily accessible, close to favourite spots like Bempton Cliffs. Easy to access local amenities whilst being in a quiet location where we could all switch off and relax. Very welcoming host, great property will full facilities and very comfortable. The two little dog parks on site were very handy with our two energetic Cockerpoos.

We enjoyed a a short, peaceful and enjoyable stay. The cottage offered everything we expected and the view from the patio was outstanding.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The cottage was clean and cosy. It was a very short walk to the local shops, restaurants and pubs, and it was the perfect location from which to explore the surrounding Yorkshire countryside. Finding parking was no problem. Rachael was a great host, and the cottage had everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful weekend at Emma’s place. The location is very picturesque. We loved walking along the stream & river. The location was peaceful with a secluded & secure garden. The house was spotless and spacious - perfect for our family of 5. We all slept very well in the comfy beds and the house had everything we needed when travelling with young children - from plates, cups, bath toys, books, stair gate and cot. 2 nights wasn’t long enough so I hope we’ll be back.

This place is probably the nicest place our little family have ever stayed, the surroundings were idyllic, Claire was warm and welcoming and provided books, dvds, board games, toys and Lego so both of our boys were over the moon. The cottage was spotless, the gardens were stunning and the outdoor play set was a real hit. We saw a real variety of wildlife throughout our stay which was magical. We booked 2 nights very last minute and Joanne was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome before we even arrived! The house was lovely, very much home from home with extra touches like a welcome pack, toys and games etc. The outside space was perfect as well, which my children loved. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the cottage and we will definitely be booking again!

Lovely property, great for exploring beautiful Yorkshire. Victoria was an extremely proactive host, checking that we arrived safely and flexible on check in and check out. The cottage was very comfortable with excellent facilities, would highly recommend the property and the host.

The cottage was lovely and quiet, home from home with everything you needed. 10 to 15 mins walk to town going through the gardens on valley road. Lovely decor throughout and comfortable sofas and beds. Will definitely go back as felt so at home. Thank you so much Christina.

Trevor and Ann were great hosts and keep a lovely clean and cosy property. It’s sizeable, with plenty of space for a family. The house is very clean, the beds were very comfy and we all slept well. The location is perfect, being a 1 min walk to the beach, where there is a chip shop, ice cream shop and beach cafe nearby, as well as small crazy golf course. It’s in a very quite location, and only 20 mins walk to the attractions, which makes it an ideal location being far enough away for it to be peaceful, but close enough if you want to go to a busier part. There is a driveway for off street parking and brilliant views from the two main bedrooms. We will be back! Thanks

Had a fantastic stay. Lovely little property. Very welcoming, with all the little extras, even treats for the dogs. Hot tub was amazing. Sue was a great host. Very helpful information provided prior to stay and very responsive to questions. Would definitely go back.
