Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Beautiful home with lots of amenities. Family greatly enjoyed our stay, especially the pool and hot tub. Flint was quick to reply and very helpful with his responses. Highly recommend.

The Mangy Moose is the place to be! John has thought of everything! We came over our spring break (March) for fishing, so we didn't get to use all the summer amenities... But we enjoyed the beautiful kitchen (for yummy home cooked meals), awesome large dining table (for meals and games), large tv with lots of channels, beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and the kids LOVED the club house. Plus the 4-bed & 4-bath setup was perfect to blend (2) families together for a very comfortable stay for 9 people (total) for the week. This place is a true gem and we are already talking about next year!

Stayed here with a few friends over our college break, it was an awesome time and the perfect space for a group of college students to relax and all be together. Lots of activities within the house (ping pong, pool table, cornhole, darts) which made the trip better. Great fridge space and bathrooms/showers worked well. More than enough sleeping spaces for me and all my friends. Would highly recommended to any large group looking for a fun getaway!

Beautiful lake home. Everything is very nice & comfortable. We enjoyed the getaway very much. Loved looking at the peaceful lake. The updates are very tastefully done. Looks like a lot of time invested into every detail. It’s well stocked-lots of games too. Restaurants, stores, ice cream all within 5 miles. Highly recommend for R&R on a big lake. Thank you!

Hunting trip with some buddies went great, home was clean, host was very attentive and responsive to all communications. We had 2 unavoidable issues during our stay but our host were great and took care of both issues without question, and very timely. I would definately recommend this host and we well likely be booking more trips at other locations as well.

The Big Drake is in on quiet lane right on the lake shore, the place is large while still feeling homey. The kitchen is well l equipped with modern appliances. The heating and AC are controlled by different Nest thermostats, and we were able to keep it at a good temperature. The three main bedrooms are very comfortable--two share an adjoining bathroom, and for one it is around the corner. The kids rooms with bunk beds were great as well. The rooms above the garage were a bit more rustic, but clean and comfortable. The furniture in the living room is very cozy leather and the other furniture is nice, often custom wood like in a fancy lodge. The check-in and check-out were super easy, with clear instructions and communications. The place is 10 minutes from a large grocery store (Meijer) and 20–30 minutes from Traverse city, which is a neat town to explore with excellent food. Overall, we highly recommend and hope we can come back!

We loved staying at Carl's. The pool table and hot tub are my kids favorite part.

Lindsay was easy to work with and very responsive. We were in the area during the local Ice Storm checking on our own vacation home in Gaylord. We booked last minute but were given check in instructions instantly. The location was perfect and we had all the comforts of home. I would definitely rent from Lindsay again and would recommend Boyneland Vacation Rentals to anyone visiting the area.

This home was a perfect place for a women's mini retreat weekend. It was a very comfortable space for 6 ladies. A suggestion would be a little heater in the main floor master bath for colder months would be helpful. It is quite chilly in there. We hope to stay again sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was so nice and clean and very open inside. Had just about everything we needed for our two night stay. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful property. Loved walking the trail in the woods with our dogs. Wish we had more time, but would love to come back and stay in this home again. Beautiful, serene, and felt like home. My two dogs LOVED the pond out back and we all enjoyed roaming the expansive private yard. Saw a ton of deer, napped in the hammock, had a peaceful bonfire every night in the large bonfire pit. I loved the hot tub under the stars and the big jetted bathtub. Comfortable beds and the place had everything we needed to cook at home. An absolute gem and we plan to return!

Very nice little place to stay and it was exactly what we needed. We were in the area for snowmobile races and it worked out perfectly for us. The listing photos matched the description, and for our little family of 3 it was perfect. It might be a little crowded if you were trying to put 6 people at the house, but, if you don't mind togetherness, it would be fine :) I always prefer to rent a house over a hotel room. Blake and Thomas were extremely helpful and quick to respond to messages. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
