I didn't really want to write a review as i don't want too many people knowing about this place:) exactly as described, it has everything that you need, everything was clean, 2 toilets which accommodated our family, it truly is a home away from home

Moosehead is absolutely spectacular. A stunning location, beautiful home and everything we could have possibly wanted for the best friends’ weekend away! So many thoughtful details and recommendations for things to do. We had an absolutely fantastic stay - thanks Matt and Rachel!!

Fantastic place for an active couple - great feel, beautiful deck and view. The birds will pay a visit every morning and night...they are clearly used to being fed! Good support if required- we had a problem with hot water, and the local manager Kaz was very quick to respond and help us get it going again. Upside : location, views, kitchen well stocked, nice bed, overall look and feel. Even better if : Some basic toiletries would be nice. Downside : nothing specific for us, however my observation would be that if you have a problem getting up lots of stairs, this is not the place for you. Also, definitely only for 2 adults in my opinion...the mezzanine isn't a practical sleeping area for adults and the bathroom is small...way too small for 4 adults to share in my opinion. Maybe 2 older kids would think it was pretty cool. Overall we were really pleased we picked the Tree House, and would absolutely recommend it if heading to Denmark.

Loved our stay! Made is a wonderful host, super attentive and thoughtful. The room was really cool, loved the bath tub! Private views of the forest, so cool. The sound of the waterfall, birds & bugs was so nice. 10/10 would recommend.

Kadek and his family were the loveliest hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was divine. The level of care put into the tree house and the luscious garden and secluded pool is unreal. Thank you !

We loved our stay in the treehouse with Firefly, all the staff are super friendly and proactive in helping you out. The treehouse had its own charm, with it being half outdoors, especially the living room (which on my part I had no fully noticed from the photos on the listing but that was my fault) but otherwise it was a lovely stay, there are mosquito nets and fan so you won't get too hot or get bitten by mosquitos in the night. We also loved the cats in Firefly ecolodge, will definitely come back and stay again if we are ever in Ubud. And shout out to the staff Putu, she was lovely and welcoming :)

The house is large, 2 full size bedrooms and 2 living rooms would give you all the space you need. The balconies were great, we had a few cockatoos landing on it. The view was absolutely fantastic! Great ocean view The kitchen had everything we needed, the barbie a good addition (although it needs some serious cleaning). The only downside was the crazy incline to get there any the many many stairs the house has. We stayed with a baby so it was a bit uncomftable. I also know many other properties had the exact same issue. Overall I highly recommend it.

My husband and I had the most relaxing time during our stay here. The room was incredible - it was our own private treehouse. Everything was great, from the outdoor tub overlooking the mountains, the view and sound of the waterfall from our room, to the hammock off the balcony. We got a head/upper body massage on the property and it was the best massage I’ve ever gotten. The restaurant has amazing views, good food and the friendliest staff. There’s a waterfall you can walk down to directly from your room which was nice! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to relax in nature. I did see a tick on the toilet seat (which can be expected, you’re in nature) so just be careful to check yourself. Wonderful spot all around!

It was a private , peaceful and romantic stay . Little bit outskirts of Ubud but if you want live peaceful and close to nature , highly recommended . Host is very friendly made my honeymoon stay a memorable one with good room decorations. They offer good floating breakfast at minimal price. Private pool is also amazing . Will surely want to stay again .

We really loved this place! The view is unbelievable and dreamy, the room is also so pretty and niceley decorated with some cute gadgets which i loved. The bathroom was super clean and big with a perfect working shower! Also the team was very friendly and helpful. Another big plus is the included breakfast with very yummy choices and also the dinner options were all really goood! It was one of the best places i‘ve been in lombok, i can really really recommend staying there! :)

I loved staying at Jungle Inn, the place is embedded in jungle, close to the monkey forest, rivers and waterfalls basically in the back yard. Choky (the host) and his co workers are so sweet and helpful, really making sure you are good and the chef who makes the food makes the most delicious local food! Sometimes Chokys friends comes by and they play music which is really lovely. You will be directly welcomed and included at Jungle Inn, and a great place if you want to get an authentic feel, to know locals and the lombok culture!

Great location nestled amongst the trees. Beautiful area of Victoria with lovely little towns to visit. Comfy home with everything we needed.

Absolutely beautiful little haven - slightly down a nowhere road - but the best surprise when you do get in - little escape and would of liked to stay for longer - Gojek did work fine in the area so stopped me from doing nothing - and the breakfast was one of the best I had in any hotel in Bali - I was there for 6 weeks. Experience to be within nature :)

We fell in love in Desa Eko from the moment we stepped in and felt right at home at our Avocado Tent greeted by their friendly and attentive Team at the restaurant where we enjoyed our daily breakfast and delicious dinner with satisfying vegan options prepared with local ingredients. Expect genuine hospitality, proactive staff, free mini bar soft drinks, house chocolate bars replenished daily 🤗 and if you come in season, right at the entrance, delicious fresh durian from the Munduk Valley the island should be proud of sold by the friendly vendor. Communal showers are clean with abundance of piping hot water, best enjoyed after dark to the tune of cicadas. Fireflies light up the night and nearby waterfalls trail is a treat to any nature lover and avid fruit hunters like us who delighted in abundance of avo and jackfruit trees, impressive vanilla beans and cloves grown on the grounds. Be prepared to burn calories climbing up and down the steps. Basic level of fitness is a must.

We loved the terrace,surrounded by beautiful Karri trees and birds chirping. The couch inside was also very inviting, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fireplace but I can imagine it’s lovely in cooler days.

Wow! What a great little hideaway that’s so conveniently located. My partner and I were blown away with every little detail. Even a loaf of fresh local bread from the bakery. Highly recommend. A——ahmazing!

Putri is incredibly hospitable and communicative. The staff went above and beyond with all my requests, ensuring my stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. The lodge is extremely beautiful and one of a kind with stunning views and a peaceful/relaxing vibe. The interior is designed beautifully with unique features that you won't find elsewhere. Yudha made the checking in & out process so easy, such a friendly and welcoming person! The tree house was so dreamy, spacious, comfortable, close to so many restaurants and shops! I loved my stay at the tree house and would love to come back. The amenities were amazing!

Wir sind im Paradies angekommen! :) Dieser Ort ist genau das, wie man sich ein Urlaub auf Bali vorstellt und es war eine neue, traumhaft schöne Erfahrung für uns. Wir haben uns gefühlt, als wären wir im tropischen Dschungel gelandet (Regenzeit). Affen kamen uns an einem Tag besuchen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und das Restaurant ist erste Klasse! Einen Strandzugang gibt es über Treppen auch und man fühlt sich als hätte man einen Privatstrand (es war nichts los). Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist ein Stück nur zu Fuß möglich,teilweise Treppen, was aber völlig okay war (ca. 5 Minuten) Uns wurde mit dem Gepäck sofort geholfen und proaktiv mehrfach nachgefragt. Es wurde alles dafür getan, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Wir waren in der Low Season. Wenn man überlegt, dass ALLES dorthin zu Fuß geschleppt und händisch aufgebaut wurde, ist der Preis völlig berechtigt. Alles besteht aus natürlichen Materialien mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 💯

La maison est belle et spacieuse, avec une mezzanine charmante et de nombreux livres passionnants sur l’Indonésie à disposition. À l’extérieur, mais à l’abri des regards, se trouve une salle de bain luxueuse où l’on se douche au milieu des plantes! Rien ne manque dans la petite cuisine qui est très plaisante. Le grand balcon offre une vue époustouflante, extraordinaire sur une vallée de rizières. La vue, les chants d’oiseaux, ont été un enchantement. Cet endroit est unique. La piscine, spectaculaire, se trouve devant le salon des propriétaires. Annette est toujours très réactive, elle a répondu à chacune de mes demandes, j’ai reçu les informations et conseils requis. Le ménage est effectué tous les jours en fin de matinée. Je suis très heureuse d’avoir séjourné à la maison des “Singing Bamboos” et remercie de l’accueil reçu.

This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

It was a beautiful stay at Graeme's place, which fell like a tree house, right in the middle of a forest, but not remote at all as there are quote a few houses in the surrounding, but with good distances.

We had a great experience staying at Kelibun homestay. First of all the ambience - you are in a green oasis surrounded by nature sounds. Welcoming hosts - were so nice to give us a lift to the motorbike rental (they suggest bikes at their place but occasionally the one had just been broken the day before), cooked tofu scramble specially for me and gave us a try of boiled peanuts (never cooked it like this before). The bungalow is simple but really awesome, with a handful of tiny details. The fans were absolutely enough and we didn't have any inconveniences without AC and hot water in the shower. What I was worried about were insects as the territory is like a jungle. But surprisingly I hardly saw any (except caterpillars which are common during the rainy season and they are everywhere). I liked waking up with the birds singing and sitting on the porch in the evening. We will definitely stay at Kelibun homestay once we decide to come back to Penida
