I have nothing negative to say about any part of my experience there! The area is amongst my favorites anyways, but the cabin is secluded, and brings a peace about you in its remote setting. The host’s instruction / check-in packet are perhaps the most detailed & complete that I’ve EVER seen…and I travel a lot! The entire experience with this location was second to none!

It is always difficult to take 5 children on a vacation where everyone has an amazing experience. This was the first time in our lives that this wish came true! Willet Ponds Farm was the best experience a father could only pray for. There is not enough room on this page or words that can properly describe every treasure that God has blessed in this place. You know you have experienced something spectacular when your children want to go around the table and share their favorite part of the trip! I am in the hospitality business and have traveled to many amazing locations, and this has to be one of those places you must visit before you leave this earth. Thank you, Mr. Walton, for showing our family such gracious hospitality and gifting us such a beautiful family memory that will be spoken about for generations.

Good place right on the New River. The valley is very quiet and secluded with only a few single family homes and vacation cabins scattered up and down the side slopes. Very casual and easy check-in. Kitchen and house very well equipped for lots of cooking and activities and entertainment. Hot tub was great. Very easy and ample space to roam for folks with pets. If you have a very low clearance vehicle like a corvette or something, check on bridge first, but 99% of vehicles will be fine even as crazy as it looks especially after Helene(notably, their bridge was one of the only small private bridges left after Helene that we saw). Want to come back in the summer one day for some tubing, perfect spot for it.

This cabin was absolutely incredible. Everything about it worked out so well for our family. The location is superb, the views are gorgeous, and the cabin is very well appointed. The kids had an amazing time in the bunk beds and the adults had plenty of space in the other two rooms. The fire pit was great and the porch is a beautiful area to relax. We would love to stay again sometime soon. Thank you Liz for being an incredible host!

The place was great! It's a super cute secluded cabin. Would definitely recommend having a 4x4 or AWD car during winter months

Morning View Escape was awesome. Tammy's house overlooks a big open field which leads to the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful! It was perfect for our young children to run and play. Playing in the river was a big hit, too! We'll be back :)

loved this area and the house, while smaller as it is an old farmhouse, was wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Smaller kitchen with not much counter space, but most everything needed to prepare a meal was available. All in all it was a great place with a big yard to get out and stroll about. The host was very helpful and communication was great.

This was the perfect couples getaway. Great location! Quiet and peaceful. If you stay in the winter, bring some slippers as the floor was cold but the fireplace kept us nice and warm. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hosts every friendly quick to respond, we had a fantastic time loved the wagon unique stay very clean . We will be back and recommending to our friends and family !

We enjoyed the stay, the home was clean and it had all the amenities. If you go there in winter time , the howling wind at night could wake you up. Personally would like a tea pot for boiling some water . Overall the home was very inviting, clean and peaceful

This was by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Kapil has thought of every possible thing needed for an enjoyable stay. We were 3 separate families with different age kids and needs. All of us were extremely happy. I personally have a toddler and the crib, pak n play with Matress, high chair, baby gates and age appropriate play room was incredible. Don’t skip the manual- we realized on our last day there was Sonos through out the house! Close to all the attractions. Super responsive host. Highly recommend and will 100% stay again. Thanks again for a wonderful spring break!

can't recommend this house highly enough the kitchen is amazing and the beds were very comfortable. The house was spotless and in the perfect location for our Ski trip.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful mountain home! The pictures honestly don’t do it justice—it’s even more stunning in person. Greg spared no expense in the construction and design of this home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it both luxurious and comfortable. The peaceful mountain views were breathtaking, and the house provided the perfect retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place, plenty of amenities, and courteous / accommodating host.

We LOVED our stay at this adorable cabin. The location to Boone and ski resorts was fantastic. The property is super cozy and clean and has stunning views of the rushing creek, farm animals and mountains! My husband and son love to fish and really enjoyed access to fishing in the stocked trout stream. Everything inside and outside of the cabin was as described except that 2 of the 3 bedrooms are "open" meaning they do not have a door to close off the bedrooms for privacy. This was a mild issue for us but overall didn't impact our enjoyment of our stay. Overall we give this cabin 5 stars and would highly recommend!

This was the most interesting AirBnB experience of my life thus far, and a very fun one! The hosts were warm, kind, and communicative. There was limited service for me in the area (Verizon network), but at the AirBnB I had both service and strong wifi. The views are beautiful. It's definitely worth a stay to say that you've stayed in a school bus! <3

Elizabeth’s place is in a great location! Less than .2 miles from Hawksnest Snow Tubing. Great sunrises and sunsets overlooking the mountains. Elizabeth was an excellent host - extremely understanding when we had issues getting back to the Round House due to a snowstorm. Highly recommend.

This listing had everything and so much more. the host was extremely helpful with recommendations for activities in the area. she was also very thoughtful, leaving a bottle of champagne for my wife and I to celebrate her birthday. the house was immaculate, with cozy ambiance down to aromatherapy in every room. the listing had.a hot tub, sauna, fire pit, game room, multiple fireplaces, very comfortable beds, excellent water pressure in spacious showers, comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. there were even menus for local restaurants provided in a well organized book. if you are planning to stay in the Banner Elk/Beech Mtn/Sugar Mtn area, this listing should be on the top of your list! we will absolutely stay again!

Lovely spot. We were celebrating my husbands birthday with our 3 yo twins. They loved the twin beds in the second bedroom and the home was cozy and inviting. We had a fire outside the night of check in. We loved the ambiance and only wished it was a snowy weekend to keep us locked inside. Didn’t get to use their indoor gas fireplace, but hopefully next time we can! All around great experience.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at the Weekender and it was absolutely perfect. Bryan and Sharon are delightful hosts and created an unforgettable experience for our family. We even had a chance to enjoy a snow storm on our last evening and wow, what a view this home offers! Thanks again for making us feel like home and hope to come back again soon.

I stayed here with a few friends for a spring break trip and it was so beautiful. The design of the space is so cozy and unique. Sunrises in the master were heavenly and in the mornings you can spot deer on the hill past the river that the balconies overlook. Perfect space. Awesome hot tub.
