This was a wonderful location for my family and I. Group of 10 had plenty of house & deck space and fun things to do inside and out. Quick & easy walk to the perfect beach & pier. The heated pool was perfect for the cooler, windy weather of March and the kids had a blast. We made TONS of memories while staying at Erica and Casey’s lovely home. We spent time together preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen & watching sunrises and sunsets from the upper deck each day. I personally loved the quiet, cool mornings reading my book by the gas fireplace & having coffee before everyone woke. This house had EVERYTHING my entire family needed for our stay. I could go on & on about our time here but too long to mention it all. I would definitely recommend to family, friends and anyone else reading this review. I am certain that I will return again! Our family had the most amazing stay at the Otter House!! The location was perfect! The neighborhood is so peaceful, and the views of the sound are breathtaking! We enjoyed walking down the beautiful docks to take in the stunning views and sunsets!! The house itself is beautifully decorated, incredibly spacious, and immaculate making our stay so comfortable. From the well-stocked kitchen (they have thought of everything you could ever need!), to such comfortable beds with beautiful bedding in each room, every detail was thoughtfully considered. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and having coffee on the back deck! The kids loved the game room, and hot tub!! The owners were the best, and made us feel so welcomed! We would give this home and owners more than 5 stars if we could! Best experience and stay, we will absolutely be back!! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with our family!!

We loved loved loved our stay at Robert and Jan’s place. Jan was an amazing host! She was attentive, detail oriented very helpful. She offered to pick up and deliver our groceries from the local Fiod Lion. She had left us snack and gifts with a handwritten note. We loved the hot tub evenings right under the NC stars. Pool was heated and kids had plenty to do, among the games in the house and outside beach walks. We will definitely will be back to her place next time to visit the NC OBX.

The house looked exactly as described & shown in the pictures! It was absolutely beautiful, clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay so much! The host was communicative, nice, & made sure we were settled into the house comfortably. Cannot say enough good things about this Air BnB!!

Excellent beach getaway on a quiet street with an easy walk to the beach. A quick walk from a local market with everything needed. House was clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Grill was clean and plenty of gas. Pool was clean and private. Plenty of room for parking. Balcony and porch made for excellent evenings. Beach access is close and private. Everything was clean and ready to go when we go there. Hoses and outdoor faucets made cleanoff beach stuff and dogs easy. Will definitely look to rebook in the future.

Kate’s place was wonderful. Despite not staying during the best weather conditions, my family had tons of fun and enjoyed the amenities provided. Will definitely book again in the future!

Lovely, cozy beach house. My oldest child loved the privacy of the upstairs loft. The beds were very comfortable. Decks were great for morning coffee, listening to the ocean, and looking at the stars. Easy walk to the beach, but probably would be a little difficult if you have little ones in tow. Definitely would need a wagon. But my youngest (8 year old) didn't mind the walk at all. Nice area for watching TV. I only wish there had been some board games or puzzles.

We loved our stay in Hatteras at the Isle Be Back! James was a great host - communicated well - both proactive and responsive. The listing was very consistent with our experience. We utilized the kayaks and one of the bikes, as well as the sand toys. It was wonderful for my kiddos to have an indoor, heated pool (which was very secure to keep them safe when we weren’t swimming). Great location. Very close to a few great beaches and the ferry docks. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in Avon! The house was fun, cozy, and felt very safe. We especially loved flying kites on the beach, watching the dolphins, and the beautiful sunrises every morning. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we hope to return someday!

Staying at Ryan's place was easy from start to finish. The house is located in an excellent location, two blocks to the beach, and adjacent to all things Avon. It's roomy enough, has great deck space, and is has fresh modern design. Clean, well appointed kitchen. Ryan was easy to communicate with and super helpful. We'll rent again here for sure!

Our long weekend stay was peaceful and just what we needed to recharge. The beach chairs and boogie boards were nice to have for the beach! The walk to the beach was a little confusing at first, but once we found the right path it was very quick. Overall we loved our stay, especially the sleepover environment with the loft!

We absolutely loved our week at Outer Banks. Sushma was a great host, the house is situated in a beautiful area and has everything you could wish for. The beaches and in particular the sunsets were breathtaking. We enjoyed long walks at the beach and the pool and jacuzzi afterwards!

I wanted a quite and peaceful gateway, close to the beach and not crowded. Tami's house matched exactly what I wanted. Enough room for 2 people to stay, hammock and grill outside, fully equipped kitchen. I really enjoyed the stay and will certainly come again!

Jim and Marsha's home is beautiful, clean, peaceful and the perfect location, with a beautiful backyard overlooking the water. The hot tub was a wonderful plus and the doggies and us could not have been more pleased with our stay. Buxton has a special place in our hearts and their home met all our needs and desires. I would definitely recommend their home for your vacation needs. I am hoping we can go back soon.

Very clean, charming beautiful home. Nicely tucked away from crowds and noise but at the same time walkable to everything. Hosts were very responsive and local so very helpful. Very friendly hosts and lovely decorators with great taste and great book collections. Thanks for a great stay!

True Rest & Relaxation with beautiful views! Mark and Paul have designed a beautiful home that is expertly decorated and thoughtfully supplied with all the essentials for a week at the beach. We love the beach off-season and we truly relaxed here as never before. The proximity to the beach is ideal and the upper decks made it easy to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets over the water on the ocean side and the sound side. We were cozy and warm with comfy places to hang out inside even when it was snowy outside. They even made the home perfect for our furry companion with baby/doggie gates perfectly placed and even a cute spot under the stairs. Thank you for great communication, an impeccably clean and updated home, and the most relaxing week we have had in a very long time.

Our stay at Timothy’s place was excellent. The weather was terrible during our stay due to a tropical storm, but the beautiful house made up for the weather. Timothy has thoroughly thought of every detail in the home. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It has a great outdoor space. There were plenty of televisions to keep everyone happy given the weather. The hot tub is frequently serviced and clean. It has a very nice outdoor tub as well. The outdoor showers are beautiful and well designed. He has hoses on every level to minimize tracking sand into the house. We felt very relaxed. We would definitely recommend Timothy’s place. Very responsive host. Timothy definitely cares about his property and the comfort of his guests. We would come back and recommend this house.

This might be the most amazing Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, absolutely unique and the little town of Wanchese is just charming. The climate control worked perfectly, the beds were super comfy, and the showers had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Everything was clean and tidy, including the yard and outside areas. As an added treat, there were two pigs in the pen that we fed raisin bread and a cat that visited us every morning! We stayed during the bluegrass festival that is held every year in Manteo so the location was perfect for that. Seriously, it was pretty perfect and we could not have loved it any more!

Staying here was even better than the first time we stayed there last year. We love the area and we will be back.

Great location, easy to walk to the beach or the path on main road to local restaurants. Beautiful sunsets from the upper deck looking towards the sound and sunrise if you walk down to the beach path. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. Bonus that we didn’t have to rent linens and towels as with other beach rentals. In fact, the beach chairs & beach towels meant less I had to pack. Though the yard is not fenced, there is was plenty of nice grass for the pup and the kids to play ball in. We are looking forward to coming back next season.

Jake was more than accommodating. Very clean. Jake was so responsive, respectful and GENEROUS! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sisters Hideaway. The house is very comfortable and clean. I loved the decor. We enjoyed having the hot tub and grill available. Being able to walk right to the beach every day was amazing. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again in the future!
