This place was great. Awesome hospitality. The space was more than enough room for 3 people with all the amenities that we needed and then some, the area was very secure. The beach is a short distance away and was beautiful. Cannot say enough how great the place was. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.

I absolutely loved the house it is beyond beautiful I think more beautiful than the pictures. Everything was clean and well organized and the guardians taking care of the home are so helpful and kind. They give you a tour of the home and offer help of any kind that you might need for your stay. I forgot some items in the home and they were kind enough to meet me when I returned for them. They truly offer you everything you need in a home which sometimes is rare to find especially with a home for large groups. The pool is so gorgeous we got to watch the sunset as we swam as the view overlooks the sea. I will definitely recommend and would love to come back. Thank you!

Liz's property was gorgeous which would be featured in a magazine. The outside was well maintained and well thought out and could tell that the designer payed close attention to detail to the outside of the property. The pool and hottub were gorgeous but didn't get as warm as we would've liked but fun all the same. The views are absolutely amazing and watching the sunrise is not to miss. Davide who looked over the property was very helpful. The inside of the house has a very rustic feel and you have an abundance of dishes and cutlery for guests to use. One of the rooms are separate from the house which hosts a full bathroom bedroom and living space. Two extra toilets are right outside the house that looks newly built and modern. We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

Dank der guten Beschreibung von Maurizio war die Hacienda einfach zu finden und die Anfahrt war auch mit einem normalen Auto sehr gut machbar. Das Anwesen ist traumhaft schön, weitläufig, sehr schön bewachsen und mit unglaublich viel Liebe gestaltet. Eine überaus gelungene Mischung aus Originalgegenständen der Hacienda mit marokkanische Kunst. Der Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Die Hacienda ist einzigartig. Wir haben von dem Essensangebot Gebrauch gemacht, die Mahlzeiten waren großartig und Doña Alma und ihr Team tuen alles, dass man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die vielen unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten, der tolle Ausblick, Jacuzzi, Hängematten…. und alles ist überaus gepflegt. Ein echtes Juwel mit viel Liebe und Herz geführt, Doña Alma hat unseren Aufenthalt einzigartig gemacht. VIELEN DANK!

We had an amazing experience at Joe's place in Xanadu. Although we came across a couple of glitches, Joe quickly responded to my messages and had assistance readily available. He's also a very caring host. One suggestion I would make is probably access to better internet or WiFi. During my stay, we had a couple of minor health issues going on and it took some effort to get a good signal to communicate with Joe, Uber drivers and other family members to ask for assistance. I found a few spots around the house with relatively good reception, however, in instances when it's hard to move around or want to stay away from the heat, a better signal would have taken that additional stress off. Other than that, Joe's place is wonderful and he is an amazing host. Highly recommend him and his place. Thank you for being such an amazing host.

My husband, friend and cousin stayed at Rafa's amazing home and enjoyed the overwhelmingly beautiful sunrises and sunsets and every other wonderful vista. Our onsite property host, Ricardo (who lives with his family next door) provided excellent assistance and we arranged to have breakfast and a couple of dinners onsite. Ricardo and his family are lovely folks and we always of assistance if we needed help with anything. The property is situated cliffside and has absolutely fantastic views up and down the coast and of a great little beach that's easily accessible from the house. The pool and outdoor space is just like it looks in the photos and we spent much of our time in the pool relaxing and enjoying the views. The accommodations, while a bit dated, had a certain beachy charm that comes with living oceanside. Everything was clean and tidy. I would love to stay here again on a future visit and recommend it to others as well.

We had a great time in Candelaria! The host Juan was so welcoming, he was there for anything we needed during our stay! The property was beautiful and comfortable.

We loved this house. Now that I am home I think about it frequently and imagine myself relaxing by that pool amidst the beautiful gardens. I appreciated the maintenance workers. You almost dont notice them. Someone comes quietly every morning to take care of the pool so it is always sparkling. Lupita is great. We didn’t really need her services for the short time she was there but she is a darling.

This is a beautiful beach house with an incredible location. The views are magnificent- we had a wonderful stay!! I highly recommend this house, the service is superb, close to many delicious restaurants & close to the city. Alejandra, Doña Esthela and Don Dimas were always ready to help and supportive. It would not have been the same without them. I will definitely stay again. Thank you Andres for sharing your house with us. We will be back!

Location was great to get to beaches, surrounding restaurants are good, kitchen at the house was stocked with all kitchen supply we needed, door men were pleasant and made sure the area was safe, Lindsey was easy to get a hold of, and overall my family and I had a great time. A good place to disconnect and relax for sure. Make sure to bring books, playing cards, or other things for the down time at the house. There was some DVD movies, but we didn’t watch any of the TV’s. Great time laying in the hammock by the pool and reading was super relaxing to me.

We went here on a girls trip and the photos don’t do it justice. It was BEAUTIFUL! Ana (housekeeper and chef) was amazing and went above and beyond everyday for us. The air conditioning in the rooms worked perfectly and I’ve never slept so good on vacation. Jaime and Sandra also gave us a name for someone who does massages. She came to our house and every single one of us thought she was the best masseuse we’ve ever had. Additionally, El Salvador in general was very safe and the locals were incredibly kind and helpful. Would recommend this 10/10!!!

Very large place, it was a large group of us and everyone had their space. The scenery is amazing, the available staff in the house were very helpful, respectful and attentive. Would love to go back!

It was perfect for a surftrip, 5 minutes away from the Surf spot, clean and a lot of space ! Really had a good time there, waves are always good at el sunzal !

Villa Peñiscola was such a great spot for our first group family vacation back to El Salvador in over two decades! The view is incredible the moment you drive-in. It is very private with a fort-like feel and takes setting in a huge property over a cliff. There are two main houses connected by the driveway and a small pool house in the back with a total of about 14 beds, 2 pools and direct access to the private beach! I mean, this place is huge and amazing! Our family loved that the kitchen/living room are outdoors with panoramic view to the ocean and that the backyard was the perfect setting for our family photos. Marisa was attentive via Airbnb text but Karen and Santos were the primary contact of all things at the property— they are great concierge service to Villa Peñiscola. As Airbnb Superhosts ourselves, we recommend this spot in El Salvador. Good to note that the cave is unreachable when the tide is high. Make sure to consult w/ Marisa the tide schedule prior to your visit.

We had a great experience and enjoyed our stay a lot! It's a lovely place very close to one of the best surf spots. Everything is in walking distance. Roberto and the team were very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay. Gorgeous property with unbeatable location and views. The beach was stunning; the sand perfect. We had so much fun playing in the waves with the kids. Watch the sun rise with your coffee in the gazebo, and enjoy dinner on the terrace as it sets, this place is paradise. Mike and Paola were incredible host's - so helpful, inviting and overall, just extraordinary. We adventured to El Salvador on a whim and it did not disappoint. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here - we definitely hope to be back.

Family trip. We loved our stay and did not want to leave. Ruth Carlos and Ernesto were excellent and made us feel at home. They cooked, did our laundry and took good care of us. We can’t wait to come back. The house had a great layout with separation for us all and was extremely safe. Loved the pool, parillada and sunset views.

I stayed with friends and family at this place for my brother's El Salvador wedding. It was a great decision. You can end this place for a visit with family or friends. They're very gracious and attentive. I'd come back again. I highly recommend it.

Logement exceptionnel, la cuisine est spacieuse et bien équipée, les chambres propres, des pièces lumineuses. Les extérieurs sont incroyables, plusieurs terrasses, un immense jardin, une piscine, un barbecue, des hamacs. Tout est fait pour y passer un super séjour avec vue sur le beau lac de Coatepece. Marisol, la gardienne, est disponible pour des renseignements si besoin. Elle a toujours le sourire et un petit mot sympathique. Ce fut un très bon séjour.

Expect to relax and be safe in this beautiful home. Whatever you need or have a question about, ask Salvador or any person of his staff and they will direct you. If you are looking for a beach to sunbath and relax I recommend La Costa del Sol. If you want to surf then El Sunzal will do.
