I have stayed at MANY airbnb’s over the years and Jorge’s property is in the top two of all (The other being in Mendocino, California). Jorge was an amazing host, the location was incredibly relaxing and beautiful, and the home was comfortable, well-stocked and clean. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this property to anyone who will be traveling to Terciera.

Casa completa, amplia y limpia. Camas cómodas, y el exterior muy agradable. Está céntrica pero es muy tranquila. El coche lo puedes dejar a la puerta y puedes ir andando a comprar,. Nos encantó el detalle a nuestra llegada.

Natersia and Paul are truly adorable and caring for so many reasons. Not to be outdone, their home is comfortable and ideally located overlooking the ocean. The ideal place and people.

We had lovely breakfasts outside in the garden area with a gorgeous sea view. if you are looking for a quite peaceful beautiful stay with your partner this is the perfect place. Nordestes landscape is outstanding and you are surrounded by cats donkeys and cows. This place is the perfect starting point for hiking to nearby waterfalls and in the evening we couldn't wait to come back and have a glass of wine or kima in the garden.

We had a perfect stay in Vitor's beautiful and spacious house. It is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Vitor is a wonderful host. Since our flight had a delay we arrived quite late and even got some food from Vitor. It was a great experience and we can fully recommend Vitor's house.

I can't praise this property enough! It's a 5th generation home full of beautiful antiques yet with all the modern amenities. We had tons of space for 4 of us with large bedrooms and bathrooms. It was so nice to hang out by the fireplace in the cozy livingroom - especially on a rainy February night. The property is huge! The gardens are stunning and attended to daily by the loveliest man who doesn't speak a word of English but was a good sport trying to communicate with us - he even brought us fresh oranges one morning! The location is excellent - easy walking distance to several great restaurants, shops, the caldeiras and Parque Terra Nostra. It did take us a couple times around the loop to figure out which house it was - Apple maps was less accurate than Google! But once we found it, we knew we were in heaven! Picking up the keys in Ponta Delgada was easy and communication with the hosts was exceptional. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Die Unterkunft von Célia hat uns positiv überrascht! Es hat alles gepasst, das Haus ist sehr schön und geräumig, gut zu erreichen, egal wohin man auf der Insel will. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett! Im Ort gibt es eine Tankstelle und einen kleinen Supermarkt, alles da was man braucht. Ein paar Minuten entfernt gibt es einen Ausblickpunkt, der sehr schön ist, mit Blick aufs Meer, dahin haben wir abends einen Spaziergang unternommen. Die Unterkunft ist großartig!

This place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, truly get the country-living experience here! It was clean and cozy and the stars at night were just incredible. It was a bit cold since I was visiting in early January, but there is an electric heater for the room, which I was grateful for. One small thing - if you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing along some ear plugs, as the roosters in the morning can be quite loud (although it does add to the charm!!). Overall, would highly recommend this place!

Great apartment in a perfect location! Situated on a quiet street, it's peaceful yet incredibly convenient. Everything in Angra do Heroísmo is less than 5 minutes away, making it easy to explore the town's attractions. The best part? No noisy restaurants or bars on the street, ensuring restful nights. We loved it so much we stayed here twice. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy Angra's charm while having a quiet place to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

Pierre's place is located in a serene and beautiful location, very quiet. It was a bit hard to find (should have exited Nordeste to the south and only then turn right). Pierre is welcoming and helpful. Car is a must to reach other places on the island.

Great location, minutes walk from the waterfront and grocery stores, 3 restaurants within a few feet, museum across the street. The house is spotlessly clean, exactly as pictured larger than expected. Isabelle greeted us with the keys and there was a lovely basket of coffee, tea and local cookies. There is a private garden off of the kitchen. The home is over 200 years old with thick stone walls and beautiful tile work. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Although it is on a busy street, the thick walls and hallway help it stay quiet. The walls impede the WiFi signal, so if you are a remote worker and rely on stable WiFi throughout the house, it might not work for you. The hosts have tried to remedy this w/ 3 separate WiFi systems through the house. The weather was damp most of our stay and the living room with heat on smelled musty. I suspect better weather would remedy that. Although we had to cut our stay short, we did experience incredible hospitality from the hosts.

Really comfortable, high quality apartment with good design and a well equipped kitchen. We loved the wood pellet fire and the location was handy for hiking Mount Pico as well as getting to the main towns. There’s not much in the immediate area but it was calm and there are supermarkets and a bar within easy rich. We had requested early check in and to be alerted when the cleaning was done but only got check-in instructions at 15.00 — so not early which is fine but also a little too late for comfort with messages even then prompted by us. The address on Airbnb didn’t immediately guide us to the right spot so ask for gps from the host.

5 stelle perché di più non si può mettere, i nostri giorni nell'appartamento 2 della SLOPE HOUSE sono stati bellissimi, l'appartamento ha una grande finestra e terrazza sull'oceano, la casa è ben arredata e ha tutti i confort. Anche la camera si affaccia su una via tranquilla di Lagoa ed è molto carina. Abbiamo trovato sempre parcheggio gratuito sotto casa e la posizione è comoda per visitare tutta l'isola. L'host José è gentilissimo, ci ha dato tantissimi consigli per il nostro viaggio, è stato sempre disponibile rispondere e accontentare ogni nostra necessità. Assolutamente consigliato, se dovessimo tornare a sao miguel non abbiamo dubbi su dove dormire. :)

A great choice for large groups/families. Our 7 people found a massive 2-story ocean front villa both close to civilization and private at the same time. The location is ideal. You wake up every morning to the sound of waves and you sip your coffee overlooking the ocean on the spacious elevated patios. It's close to markets and the nexus of North-South/ East-West roads making it easy to get anywhere on the island. There is ample off-street parking. Maria and Francisco are wonderful hosts. We arrived to find homemade fig jam and chestnut cake, a selection of local teas, and everything you need to make this your home away from home while in the Azores. There is plenty of space for people to spread out or to come together. Custom table tops that fit over the basalt bollards on the patio along with ample chairs and a patio umbrella help to extend the living space further and enable enjoyment of the south facing patio. Immaculately clean and a great value. We would definitely return.

We loved our stay at the Lava Homes! It was much too short but will definitely be back. Ana, who checked us in was awesome and very helpful. The house was pristine and you can't beat the view. I will recommend the Lava Homes to all of my friends. The Magma restaurant was outstanding as well.

Very nice place, from comfy beds to a beautiful living room, we really enjoyed staying in the house! BBQ pit was a great addition - used it almost every night. And it's sooooo quiet! Will be back again!

This Vila was situated in a magical location. The grounds are well kept, the interior was clean and tidy, and the location is perfect. The photos do not do justice to the beautiful property and surroundings. We did have a slight issue checking in at first- we didn't realize that the key and fob for the gate were attached. However, we quickly figured it out- minor! We traveled with an 8 year old, she says "it was fun!" and enjoyed every moment in the playground and pool. We would love to return, and plan on it. Thank you, Raul!

We had a wonderful stay. Paula and Jose were terrific. Very responsive and helpful. The house offered much to do, beautiful swimming areas across the street, and short drive to great restaurants. Our group had plenty of space to get together and spread out. Would definitely come again.

This is a really lovely house - we stayed here for 3 days and wished we could have enjoyed Gustavo's hospitality linger. Gustavo is very responsive and pro - active with local tips. Even when he was on a trans - Atlantic while we were staying in the house, he ensured there was s back up yo respond and help us, if needed. Loved the house and would recommend it highly

Patricia est une hôte exceptionnelle en tout point. Elle est super agréable, répond vite, est généreuse de sa présence. Tout était parfait et correspondait à la description sur Internet. En fait, les photos ne rendent même pas justice à la beauté du lieu. Le lit est super confortable, les pièces sont grandes et accueillantes, en plus d’être « vachement » bien décorées - vous comprendrez quand vous y serez… En plus d’être tranquille, ce lieu est à proximité des lagunes de Sete Cidades, et de piscines naturelles. Nous recommandons sans hésitation!

A casa é óptima, extremamente limpa, com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia muito confortável. A vista é lindíssima com um enorme espaço exterior. Os anfitriões são muito cuidadosos e simpáticos e responderam sempre prontamente a todas as nossas questões. Ainda tiveram o cuidado de deixar toalhas de banho e uma manta adequadas para bebé e ofereceram produtos alimentares da região. Recomendamos vivamente a casa do Pedro e voltaremos se possível!
