Melanie is a great host. Very proactive and responsive and provided lovely homemade baked goods, butter, tea, coffee and biscuits. Mini pool table was a nice bonus! Easy walk to the beach and town with good pubs, eateries and shops.

We were very happy with our stay at Michelle's place. The property was very generously sized, well appointed and maintained. Michelle was a very responsive and considerate host, taking time and care to ask about our needs. She set up a room especially for our train-mad 4-year old, which was a lovely extra touch.

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

This was our 3rd stay at the location because we absolutely love it. Its just a short walk to an amazing beach and is perfect for our little family. 4th stay booked already :)

We enjoyed our stay very much. Fascinating historical town with great accommodation nestling into the ancient city wall. Access by train was easy and all attractions, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Jo is a very good host providing stylish and thoughtfully designed facilities. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay, place is exactly as described. Comfortable stay, no frills accommodation. Bring your own toiletries and milk / coffee, etc.

Where to start, from first communication Anna was prompt and welcoming. On arrival Anna greeted us with such warmth, we were shown round, introduced to the family and animals. During our stay we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and loft. The children made full use of the farm, enjoying the animals and were able to feed and pet them thanks to Anna. Anna, Paul and children were wonderful Hosts and we felt right at home and we look forward to returning again.

Lovely Airbnb! Really clean and light. We stayed in the winter and it was lovely to come back to a warm, sunlit apartment. There are 2 flights of stairs so something to consider if you have many bags but otherwise it is a great location. Really convenient for the local shops and restaurants. There were lovely personal touches throughout and the rooms were clean and well presented. The front room was a little noisy from the street below, but that was on a Saturday night only, and something you would expect from being on the high street. All in all, a great place I would highly recommend.

Bella and her team were great and really helpful! They came to change the key lock box number and kindly turned the heating up a little bit for us ! There were some nice treats left for us too which was very welcome! The apartment was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable! Will definitely be booking again when we next come to Chelmsford

We had an amazing stay at Sam’s place! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay – cozy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely hot tub! The location was perfect too – making it easy to explore the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway.

Had a really lovely stay at Carole’s cottage Garden Annex, was nice and peaceful perfect for my little trip. Really appreciate the croissants and Jams that Carole had left us, was a really nice touch.

Sean was a great host, really responsive and helpful. The apartment is well located to walk into the town with all that it offers. Parking on the street was not difficult when we arrived and was free with the resident parking permits provided by Sean. A great crash pad for visits to Bury. The double bed is a little small but plenty of room on bed settee in lounge

Suzy and Leigh were very accommodating hosts - letting us check in earlier with our toddler was a great help. Clear instructions, very responsive and overall a great base for us whilst we were visiting friends. Location was ideal for getting to Great Yarmouth and Southwold. The Garden Studio is hands down one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at!! Ann and Simon have every aspect of a home from home covered, and then some! The layout, the access, the welcome goodies and all the mod cons are provided, not to mention the hot water pressure, which is amazing. We spent a lovely few days here over Christmas and we would not hesitate to book again! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Me and my wife stayed here for New Year’s Eve. We wanted. Change from the house party vibe, and stumbled across this lovely place. Annetta is a lovely host, very friendly and was happy to help if needed. We enjoyed the location, such a wonderful house surrounded by countryside. The jacuzzi was amazing! We looked at the stars while sipping champagne from our wedding a few months back. What more do you want! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the hospitality Annetta! All the best Luke & Addie x
