Our stay at Daniel's country home was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The vast property offered exceptional privacy, nestled alongside a stunning river perfect for leisurely swims. The meticulously maintained swimming pool, filled with pristine river water, added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. Inside the home, a refreshing breeze flowed through the spacious farm windows, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere. The surrounding gardens teeming with beautiful birds further added to the charm of the place. We found the showers to be consistently hot and the beds provided utmost comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Daniel's hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. He offered invaluable recommendations and remained highly responsive throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. Our experience at Daniel's country retreat was nothing short of delightful.

Los ríos son muy escénicos y las impresionantes cataratas de Eco Chontales son una maravilla de la naturaleza. Servicio y Atención: la dueña y Pamela, anfitriona son muy amables y preocupadas por mantener la casa siempre en excelentes condiciones. Esperamos volver pronto!

Das Tinyhouse ist eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in Uvita. Alles so super wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Die Terrasse war ein schöner Ort um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Die Lage war auch wirklich top. Man lebt authentisch in dem Ort und hat fußläufig einige Restaurants, Bars und Supermärkte. Ebenso war der Catarata Wasserfall auch gleich um die Ecke. Alles in allem eine super Unterkunft.

This mountaintop Airbnb made for an unforgettable first trip to Costa Rica. It is very secluded and the sounds of nature made it very peaceful. The ocean views from the infinity pool were incredible. We agree with the previous reviews that the photos can’t capture the serenity of this Airbnb. Cecile and her husband (owners) were residing in their house on the property during our stay and were extremely friendly and accommodating. The drive up and down is an adventure (that we really enjoyed!) Cecile includes very helpful instructions with photos to find it. A 4x4 car is an absolute necessity to get around in the Ojochal/Uvita area. There is so much to do nearby including lots of waterfalls (three of the four we visited were just a 2-minute walk to get to them!), guided night hiking, a day trip to Corcovado National Park, zip lines, etc. There are lots of yummy restaurants nearby and the kitchen has cooking essentials so we cooked for ourselves several times. We can’t wait to come back!

What a magnificent experience. Never had I experienced such a space before-hand. My recommendations would be, (1) prepare your-self for max humidity. (2) The Land is “advanced”. Meaning, this is on the opposite spectrum of your city concrete life. (3) Prepare to heal your self with the abundance of divine oxygen (4) Drink the natural spring water. Buying bottled water is a literal sin here. (5) The bugs are attracted to the light at night , so set up a decoy. Patricias husband (co-host), Gabriel, is a gentleman to say the least. I wasn’t able to meet Patricia but that wasn’t an issue whatsoever. What else can I say? This might not be for weak people. Nature here can be intimidating if you’re not mentally strong. Final remarks please enjoy yourself. Shut your Fortune lizard brain up and soak up the oxygen. Blessed is whom ever resides here for what ever reason. Book. This. Place. It was an absolutely AMAZING experience for your family. We spent almost a week here with our 6,4, & 2 year old and it was pure magic. Also, don’t think twice about it - get the meals, they were sensational. The property was immaculate, we started every morning with a hike and swim to the waterfall. The kiddos got to work on the farm, and the WiFi was us to check in on a few things worked great. The instructions to get to the farm was great. Yes, it’s a trek into the mountains but it’s well worth the trip. Couldn’t not recommend this place enough. We can’t wait to be back. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
