If you want a true off the grid experience with amazing food and views, make your way out here. Everything that we could have hoped and wished for. We felt like family when we arrived and they were so kind and wonderful throughout. The tours they offer are amazing. Would absolutely stay again if given the chance.

Words will never do this place justice. Both the lodge itself and the surroundings are stunningly beautiful. The pictures give a slight impression, but the place must be experienced to really understand the beauty of this place. The cabins are placed up on a hill with an amazing view over the jungle and the ocean. Macaws are flying over you all day. Coatis, tapirs, agutis and monkeys cross the grounds and nature trails are plentiful. We did a trek into Corcovado through la Leona gateway which was well worth it. Way less crowded than la Sirena and the scenery is incredible. I also took some yoga classes while I was there. The yoga itself was great and the cherry on the top was 8 macaws settling into a tree right in front of the yoga platform during class. We were also really pampered with delicious food and smoothies. We got there by cab which took something like 1 h 45 m each way. On the way there the driver spotted loads of animals for us. I’m so grateful for the whole experience.

Can’t Really describe how beautiful Finca Exotica is …. You will just have to find out for yourself! All I will say is you definitely won’t regret booking this unique accommodation. We met a number of other guests whilst enjoying a very social and enjoyable meals. Don’t think twice …. Just book it!

Die von anderen Kommentaren erwähnten 150 Stufen fand ich nicht bedeutsam, es sind überwiegend ganz flache Stufen und sie liegen im Schatten. Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass Michaele der perfekte Manager ist, der alles von hier weiß und alles organisiert und mit liebenswürdigen Humor quittiert.

Die Unterkunft von Markus und Gaby war unser schönstes Reiseziel von Costa Rica. Die Umgebung direkt am Strand, in der Natur und in der Nähe vom Nationalpark Corcovado. Ein perfekter Ort um mit der Natur zusammenzukommen und vom Alltag abzuschalten. Wir haben ein kleines Cabin gemietet und haben noch vor dem Check-In ein gratis Upgrade für die Rancho bekommen mit der allerschönsten Aussicht. Wir waren 4 Nächte in der Finca Exotica und hatten die ganze Lodge für uns alleine. Die Umgebung war unangetastet und von so vielen Tieren bewohnt. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es verscheidene Wander Trails, von 30 Minuten bis ganze Tagesausflüge. Der Strand war direkt bei der Unterkunft mit privaten Hängematten. Das Essen welches Thomas für uns zubereitet hat war einfach nur köstlich und alles war frisch zubereitet und alle Zutaten waren aus der Region. Die Rancho wurde jeden Tag geputzt und es war sehr sauber. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Wir kommen bestimmt zurück, danke vielmals!

Fantastic little place! There are 3 cabins for guests on his lovely garden property. Basic but yet have everything you need to be comfortable and feel right at home. After our daily jungle hikes every afternoon we would rest in the hammocks on our front porch and watch the endless toucans, parrots etc fly by and play in the trees around us. There is No a/c but the beach breezes and fan at night with sounds of the ocean were comfortable enough for us. It took approx 5 min to walk from the beach up to the cabins via a little trail. If you have any mobility issues it is not for you, it’s a steep uphill walk. Guillermo was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. He helped coordinate our luggage to and from his place as we arrived by foot hiking the Drake trail from Drake bay and departed by boat straight from our day at San Pedrillo. Breakfast was served at whatever time suited you and we enjoyed the homemade meals esp fresh fish and his wife’s bread/cheese. Thank you for having us!

Christian and his wife provided a very comfortable and enjoyable experience during our stay with them in Drakes Bay. From the Boat pick up to the food and room accommodations, all were beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay at Cabina Yaseth again. Pura Vida!

Nous étions déjà venu l’année dernière chez François. Notre séjour a ete beau, reposant et magique. Si vous aimez la jungle, la nature et la sensation d’être loin du reste du monde....c'est l'endroit parfait:) Le golfe Dulce est aussi un endroit très spécial....nous avons fait une excursion en bateau avec Osawild pour voir des dauphins....et nous avons eu un moment extraordinaire...Un petit paradis de jungle ou beaucoup d’espèce d’oiseaux et certain singes viennent naturellement sur la propriété.

A wonderful stay! Susan and Carlos were wonderful hosts, so responsive and helpful. The location was amazing, we spotted so many tropical birds , we were a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to our Corcovado pickup point. You are right at the edge of the park! unbelievable. The house was lovely with a porch the length of the house overlooking the ocean.

très bel endroit au milieu d'une végétation luxuriante. Samuel est très à notre écoute. à chaque sortie en mer, nous avions quelqu'un qui nous accompagnait jusqu'à l'arrivée du bateau. ça nous a enlevé pas mal de stress.! nos diners étaient très bons seul critique concerne les fauteuils en bois sur notre terrasse qui étaient très inconfortables et qui nous ont gêné pour profiter pleinement de notre terrasse. en résumé : bel endroit loin du monde.....

Muy buena ubicación, cerca de la playa Todo en el lugar estaba impecable, lo único seria tener en consideración que el aire acondicionado se encuentra en la sala, por el resto, todo excelente.

Beautiful stay. The beach is very close to the property. The internet works very fine. The TV will ask for a code if you want to install any app and was never provided but that was not a problem for me (take that consideration if you need it). The property itself is not in front of the beach but is really close to it (around 50m from the beach). I recommend this place.

Very nice place, calm, confortable in in the middle of nature. The main beach was fantastic and the one next was great for swiming. Activities were amazing. Samuel is super nice, he helped us organising nany visits and trips. The restaurant is also great with vegeterian menu too. All in All we had a wonderful time, and we certainly be back. Thanks to Samuel and his family to make our stay unforgatable.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt dank samuels großartiger Organisation. Wir hatten nur eine Nacht gebucht und die Organisation mit dem Nationalpark und der Tour waren sehr gut. Samuel hat schnell geantwortet und war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen!

Magical spot right on the water. With the help of Google translate Cholo brought us fans on request and helped us organise kayaks which we'd highly recommend - we went for a beautiful afternoon kayak & took it out again for a quick spin in the night to see the bioluminescent plankton (we were lucky to have a dark night). The place is rustic so pack your bug spray & note only cold showers. But the bed nets were a good reprive for sleeping. It's so beautiful, we saw macaws & toucans from the stoop & a bat flew right into the house! & the kitchen was well equipped (stove top only).

This was a great place to stay in Drake Bay. We had a wonderful time. Great location and view!
