If you want a truly special experience, book this property. Irene and Ian were extraordinary hosts. Irene's attention to detail is evident throughout the immaculate space. It is gorgeous! The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is so comfortable it is a challenge to get up in the morning to begin exploring the beautiful area. Irene had lots of goodies for us, a variety of drinks in the fridge and Homemade Shortbread and Scottish Tablet! So delicious! Irene was so timely in her responses, her recommendations for restaurants and activities were spot on. She provided us with detailed information for all the local attractions, the scenery here is breathtaking. She also generously shared other valuable information for other cities we were visiting. Irene and Ian are such lovely people, it was a pleasure to meet them. We felt so honored to experience and enjoy the gem that is this hut. In this land of ''Fairies", I highly recommend you book this lovely, fairytale hut!

It is a wonderful place to unwind and just stare out of the big window in front of a little fire after a good hiking day. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious what made cooking joyful. I loved it and hope to return one day.

I’m from Skye, family is there. And it was a perfect place for us to stay close to family on a visit. It was absolutely A1 ever was brilliant and we didn’t want to leave. We will return next year hopefully Thanks again so much to Wendy It’s hard to find perfection when renting a holiday let, yet this place was perfect for us 5 stars

What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

We had an amazing time at Chris and Carolines place. It was tucked away in a private location with spectacular views but also well positioned centrally to get to all of the magic spots across Skye. The hosts were proactive with really clear instructions to locate and access, the house was toasty warm when we arrived with all the amenities you could think of and thoughtful touches like boardgames for families.

Good communications and Ronnie even popped round to see how I’d settled in. Instructions on finding the place were spot on, I was left with no doubt as to where the cottage is. There is an information folder which is concise and helpful The cottage is perfect for my needs, as a single traveller for work. It’s ideal for singles or a couple to explore the islands. The Hebridean Way goes right past the cottage Excellent WiFi - speed good enough to stream TV and a helpful guide on how to connect etc. The place is clean with the right amount of amenities. Heating is good and instructions are great. Thank you also for the welcome gift. It’s my favourite! Would definitely stay here again

Après une journée dans un nature "hostile" (l'écosse début mars), le logement se doit d'être confortable et bien équipé, deux caractéristiques évidentes de la maison proposée par Juliet (literie de qualité / cuisine fonctionnelle et complète / cheminée et espaces détente accueillants / 2 SDB). La maison est bien située, à 30-40 minutes des randonnées / visites incontournables de l'ile, et au calme absolu. Je recommanderais cette location à des amis qui souhaitent visiter Skye sans aucune hésitation, et, ma femme et moi attendons avec impatience d'y retourner.
