We had such a fabulous stay at Carole’s place in Warton. The lodge was immaculate and so well equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet, private and set around a lovely small lake. 30 minute drive to Windermere and 15 minutes to Lancaster. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Everything was exactly as we wanted and those little extras, kitchen roll, washing liquid, tea and coffee were very welcoming. Clear instructions, wifi and tv, all one could want at an home away from home.

This was the perfect place for exploring Kendal and the surrounding Lakes. We parked the car on the drive and didn’t move it for our entire stay, choosing to walk and use the very handy public transport to get around instead. We arrived at the spotlessly clean and very well equipped house around 3, then had a lovely sunset walk up to Kendal Castle before using the amazing lounge for a family games night - loads of room on the coffee table and very comfy sofas! The next day we caught the 555 bus to Windermere for £3, it took a very scenic 30 minutes and we had an amazing day exploring Windermere and Bowness before returning to use the pool and hot tub at the hotel 2 minutes away, then using amazing kitchen facilities to cook a family meal and have have a poker tournament! On our final full day we packed some lunch and had a walk to Scout Scar - amazing views. We then had the one of best meal’s we’ve had at Pappy’s Texas BBQ - would definately recommend booking in advance. Amazing!

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

Delanie couldn’t have been more helpful. We arrived to an amazing welcome hamper and balloons for my sister in laws 30th. The house was lovely. The bar and pool area were just wow!! We spent the whole day by the the pool Saturday. It was lovely and warm and so relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Carl was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. The little touches like fresh towels were really appreciated. The convenience store is just 3 mins away, Stanley park is 10 minutes walk, train station & city center is less than 15 minutes away with uber that cost approximately 5-8£ per booking. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

An absolute gem of a property! Spacious, modern, extremely clean and tidy. Excellent facilities, easy parking and close to town centre. Host was an excellent communicator, sharing clear instructions as to how to get in and subsequently leave the house. This is one of the best Air BnB’s I have stayed at and would highly recommended to any families to stay in. I will definitely be back. Dean Coady OBE

fantastic two night stay for four of us , two adults and two teenagers ( who loved the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom ). Great location, very helpful and responsive host. everything you need and more in the house. very comfy beds and loads of space. If you like a gadget or two then you will love Alan's place. Alan had thought of everything a family would need for a very comfortable stay. would Highly recommend- thanks again, Sonia , Daz , Leah and James.

Myself and my friends had an excellent stay at Sue’s property with our dogs. It helped that the weather was lovely but the cottage would have been so cosy and comfortable regardless. Sue’s instructions were helpful in finding the property and the cottage itself was spotless and well equipped. We have had a very relaxing stay and will definitely look to visit again next time!! Thank you very much!

Words cannot describe how wonderful Adam's house is. If you are in two minds about booking don't give it another thought, go ahead and book! Not only was the house beautiful and spotless, Adam was extremely accommodating, as we were very lucky with the warm weather he managed to arrange some fans within the hour! Absolutely fantastic host, can't recommend enough!

We had a lovely stay, the house was spacious and very well equipped, perfect for our long weekend together as a family of 8. We would definitely go back!

We booked this house as my Son will be starting work with BAE. We could not believe how close it was to BAE. The house was spotless and on a great link to the bus to Preston, just over the road. Morrisons shop, again 3 minutes walk away. There is a Pub next door but unfortunately was going through a refurbishment so we didn’t get to try the food etc. The garden was well kept as well. The only observation I can make is, it could do with bigger bath towels which on the whole was not the end of the world to us. Over all a great little house. We were very pleased with it.

Excellent location and unique place to stay at a very reasonable price! Parking can be a bit tricky as spots are first come first served, but paid parking at Booth's nearby is also reasonable and close by. Walking distance to a lot of dining, pubs, shopping, etc... Everything you might need is in stock at the apartment as well. Recommended!

We were all very impressed by the house and facilities. My grandson loved the massive tv! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. It was perfect for us. It felt luxurious but also felt homely.

We spent only one night at Naomi’s place, arriving very late after a family event, but it was a pleasant overnight stay with super comfortable beds and a great shower in the morning. I left a necklace behind and Naomi and Darren kindly looked for it and sent it to me by registered post, for which I am very grateful.

Had a fantastic stay at this lovely house. Holly was a great host and everything from check in to leaving was super smooth. The place is in amazing condition and was spotless on arrival - looking forward to staying again!

George and his daughter are lovely people. Their home is so clean, warm and had everything you could possibly need. Having it accessible for my son’s wheelchair was amazing and the downstairs bedroom really helpful. The location to visit Blackpool is just perfect, the tram stop is opposite so getting to the tower or the pleasure beach is easy, but the house itself is that little bit away, with excellent parking, making it ideal for a family. Very fair price too. Highly recommended.

Gary was great at communicating. There was a Christmas tree and a welcome basket full of treats a lovely touch! Great thought put into dog friendly home plenty of space and enclosed. Beautifully furnished and very clean. Would 100% recommend and would stay again.

Great location, close to tram stop, quiet area. Quite bright in most bedrooms early as only blinds not curtains but overall great amenities and well presented house for a family stay
