I have traveled a lot and stayed in many places across different price ranges, but Made and the team took hosting to the next level. It’s not just about the stunning rice fields and full immersion in nature, it’s also about the people. Made was always there to help, whether it was renting a brand-new scooter, organizing a massage, buying fruits, helping with laundry, or recommending places to visit. She also regularly checked the cleanliness of the house and made sure the bedsheets and towels were changed. From the moment I was picked up at the airport until I left, I felt like I was in the most caring hands. Suksma pesan! A lot has already been said about the house, so here’s one more tip: there is a beautiful swimming pool facing the rice fields just across the road, accessible if you purchase food or a drink (starting from ~£2), which was an extra perk for me. I bring positive changes wherever I go, so I hope your place prospers!

This is a great place to spend a few days. The building itself is just beautiful, especially the top floor. The swimming pool is well kept. There are two accommodations that share the pool, but we were the only ones there when we arrived. Balian Beach has a very laidback surfer scene. Casa Balian Cafe has soms of the best pizza I ever had!

Een heel leuk huisje met uitzicht op een waterval. Iedereen die er werkt was echt super lief en behulpzaam! Ze helpen met het regelen van een taxi of uitstapjes. Het ontbijt was ook heel goed! Bedankt voor de fijne tijd 😊

Kadek and his family were the loveliest hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was divine. The level of care put into the tree house and the luscious garden and secluded pool is unreal. Thank you !

AMAZING! I can’t express how much we loved our stay at Zen Hideaway. Wow the house was lovely and clean with hammocks and a beautiful outdoor shower. The pictures do not do justice to the stunning green forest and waterfall that runs through the backyard. And the swing was incredible! Two nights was not nearly enough for our group of 5. Do not pass up the chance to stay here for your Bali trip!!

We loved our stay in the treehouse with Firefly, all the staff are super friendly and proactive in helping you out. The treehouse had its own charm, with it being half outdoors, especially the living room (which on my part I had no fully noticed from the photos on the listing but that was my fault) but otherwise it was a lovely stay, there are mosquito nets and fan so you won't get too hot or get bitten by mosquitos in the night. We also loved the cats in Firefly ecolodge, will definitely come back and stay again if we are ever in Ubud. And shout out to the staff Putu, she was lovely and welcoming :)

we stayed one night at gede’s treehouse and wished we could have stayed longer! we didn’t know about nyepi day prior to our travels and had to cancel one of our night stays as leaving the house is not permitted. Gede was super responsive and allowed us to receive a refund for the night we had to cancel last minute. It was very dark and we did struggle to find the entrance initially. after calling gede he helped us locate the path and we entered the most magical walkway to the treehouse. we also had help from a lady (apologies we can’t remember her name) but she was so helpful and carried my VERY heavy suitcase for us. the treehouse is SO SO beautiful - we sat and watched fireflies on the patio and listened to nature under a fantastic starlight sky surrounded by rice fields. we sprayed ourselves with soffel and were not bitten at all!!! the bed is so comfy and the outdoor shower is incredible - best hot water we had in bali. thank you so much gede we want to come back ❤️

My husband and I had the most relaxing time during our stay here. The room was incredible - it was our own private treehouse. Everything was great, from the outdoor tub overlooking the mountains, the view and sound of the waterfall from our room, to the hammock off the balcony. We got a head/upper body massage on the property and it was the best massage I’ve ever gotten. The restaurant has amazing views, good food and the friendliest staff. There’s a waterfall you can walk down to directly from your room which was nice! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to relax in nature. I did see a tick on the toilet seat (which can be expected, you’re in nature) so just be careful to check yourself. Wonderful spot all around!

Absolutely beautiful little haven - slightly down a nowhere road - but the best surprise when you do get in - little escape and would of liked to stay for longer - Gojek did work fine in the area so stopped me from doing nothing - and the breakfast was one of the best I had in any hotel in Bali - I was there for 6 weeks. Experience to be within nature :)

Es ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Eine Nacht im Bali Jungel. Die Wanderung zum Wasserfall ist schon besonders. Für die Nacht im Zelt darf man bei Insekten nicht schreckhaft sein. Man teilt Toilette und Dusche mit den anderen Gästen. Aber für eine Nacht war es das Erlebnis wert.

Wird etwas besonderes, dieses halbe Baumhaus mit der Aussicht in die Natur unddie Nachtgeräuschen, inklusive der wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlichen Personal! Es ist abgelegen, aber dennoch direkt an einer Hauptstraße. Aber wir sind Indonesien grundsätzlich ist ist der Verkehr und im Bereich zu laufen eher schwierig aber das soll die Freude an der Unterkunft nicht schmälern.

Alles war mit sehr viel Liebe gemacht und vor allem sehr nachhaltig! Man bekommt eine Glasflasche, die man jederzeit auffüllen kann. Eine kleine Oase im Dschungel. Wenn wann möchte, kann man das Dach seines Baumhauses öffnen und unter freiem Himmel schlafen. Phantastisch!! Melasti beach ist ganz in der Nähe.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment a l'éco Park. Le lieu au coeur de la forêt est chaleureux et le personnel bienveillant et totalement a l'écoute. Si vous aimez les excursions en pleine nature, les tentes sont parfaites pour cela tout en étant confortables et accueillantes. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet endroit.

One of the most amazing places I've stayed while traveling the North of Bali. I spent the New Year's Eve there and it was unbelievable peaceful stay. The mountains, jungle view is just amazing. If you seek for a place to disconnect, this is the right spot for you. Down at the property is star of a trail where you can visit 5 waterfalls on the way, definitely worth of doing. What I really appreciate was the restaurant and staff there. The food was super nice and people super helpful and kind, always smiling. I would definitely choose this place again.

Nous avons adoré les deux nuits passées ici pour visiter Nusa Penida. Le lieu est vraiment très charmant ; à la fois rustique et atypique ; les logements bâtis autour des arbres, la très grande piscine, l’espace commun ombragé, il est très agréable d’y séjourner. L’équipe est au petit soin et extrêmement sympathique, toujours de bons conseils, avec des recommandations en accord avec ce que vous cherchez et une liste très complète des bons plans de Nusa Penida vous sera communiquée. Ce logement est aussi un EXCELLENT rapport qualité-prix ! N’hésitez pas à louer un scooter (plutôt puissant type N-Max) pour visiter les environs de l’île. Et enfin, testez les pancakes à la banane du petit-déjeuner, un vrai régal ! Merci encore à toute l’équipe.

Putri is incredibly hospitable and communicative. The staff went above and beyond with all my requests, ensuring my stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. The lodge is extremely beautiful and one of a kind with stunning views and a peaceful/relaxing vibe. The interior is designed beautifully with unique features that you won't find elsewhere. Yudha made the checking in & out process so easy, such a friendly and welcoming person! The tree house was so dreamy, spacious, comfortable, close to so many restaurants and shops! I loved my stay at the tree house and would love to come back. The amenities were amazing!

Wir sind im Paradies angekommen! :) Dieser Ort ist genau das, wie man sich ein Urlaub auf Bali vorstellt und es war eine neue, traumhaft schöne Erfahrung für uns. Wir haben uns gefühlt, als wären wir im tropischen Dschungel gelandet (Regenzeit). Affen kamen uns an einem Tag besuchen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und das Restaurant ist erste Klasse! Einen Strandzugang gibt es über Treppen auch und man fühlt sich als hätte man einen Privatstrand (es war nichts los). Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist ein Stück nur zu Fuß möglich,teilweise Treppen, was aber völlig okay war (ca. 5 Minuten) Uns wurde mit dem Gepäck sofort geholfen und proaktiv mehrfach nachgefragt. Es wurde alles dafür getan, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Wir waren in der Low Season. Wenn man überlegt, dass ALLES dorthin zu Fuß geschleppt und händisch aufgebaut wurde, ist der Preis völlig berechtigt. Alles besteht aus natürlichen Materialien mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 💯

La maison est belle et spacieuse, avec une mezzanine charmante et de nombreux livres passionnants sur l’Indonésie à disposition. À l’extérieur, mais à l’abri des regards, se trouve une salle de bain luxueuse où l’on se douche au milieu des plantes! Rien ne manque dans la petite cuisine qui est très plaisante. Le grand balcon offre une vue époustouflante, extraordinaire sur une vallée de rizières. La vue, les chants d’oiseaux, ont été un enchantement. Cet endroit est unique. La piscine, spectaculaire, se trouve devant le salon des propriétaires. Annette est toujours très réactive, elle a répondu à chacune de mes demandes, j’ai reçu les informations et conseils requis. Le ménage est effectué tous les jours en fin de matinée. Je suis très heureuse d’avoir séjourné à la maison des “Singing Bamboos” et remercie de l’accueil reçu.

I had a memorable time in the Cacao Pod treehouse at Sebatu Eco-Retreat. The room was stunning and unique. I loved the hammock overlooking the lush valley. The furniture was tasteful and practical. The bed was very comfortable, with a mosquito net and overhead fan for added comfort. The resort's eco-pool was a standout feature - be sure to bring swim goggles so you can see the fish and fully enjoy the experience. I also really enjoyed the restaurant which offered tasty dishes at a fair price. I wanted to recognize the outstanding team including Wayan, Lita, Elvi, and Yuni, who made our stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended.
