This place is inspiring. It feels like an Enid Blyton novel and filled us with joy. It was eclectic, cosy, and welcoming. This would be a wonderful space for a writing retreat, or just spend days in the rocking chair reading and daydreaming.

Great place to get away and relax and unwind! Perfect for two people! Easy to get into the city, but perfectly away for some peace and quiet. Lovely host and easy to reach with any questions! Definitely would recommend for a night or two away

The property is very well equipped for families who want to cook, relax and sleep well! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighbours were a little noisy but not disruptive. Thank you for thinking of everything a family could need in a holiday property!

We really enjoyed staying at the Cottage. Very well presented. Great experience booking and communicating. It was perfrct for our family of 4 as a base to visit Soverign Hill. Only tiny thing worth noting is there is only one 2 1/2 seater couch in the cute front lounge, so if you have 4 or more guests you can't all sit in the lounge to watch TV. We could squish 3 on the couch and brought one of the 6 dining chairs from the adjoining kitchen in for extra seating which wasn't quite as relaxing. Tiny issue as it is a gorgeous cottage, large open space in the kitchen and bedrooms and beds were perfect. Also really comforting to have off street parking. And a lovely coffee shop only 200 metres away. Really enjoyed ourselves and highly highly recommend Thank you.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Catherine’s place and it is a sheer delight. Perfect position to explore the best of Ballarat and a beautifully presented place to relax and feel at home. Couldn’t rate it highly enough.

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

Booked this property for my parents to stay on their wedding anniversary. They were very impressed with the property and loved their stay. It had everything they needed and was in a beautiful location. Communication was prompt and booking was very easy. Would recommend!

The lakeside suite was serene. Tidy clean and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The lakeside suite is walking distance from Vincent Street and the lake is easily accessible. The decking could do with a little bit of TLC and being on the lower level we could hear our neighbours above us. Nonetheless, our stay was lovely.

A well-appointed and comfortable apartment a stone’s throw from the lake in Ballarat. The property is within walking distance of some fine cafes (we particularly enjoyed Webster’s Market & Cafe) whilst the city centre is a short car trip away. The apartment was ideal for our purposes: a short stay in Ballarat to participate in a cycling event starting from Lake Wendouree. Jessica was an excellent host; she gave clear instructions and responded to questions quickly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful outlook over Lake Daylesford, fabulous large balcony to relax on. Easy to walk around the lake, and up to the restaurants and shops. Spacious bedroom, bathroom and living space. Super comfortable and clean.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility and a chance to gaze up at the stars and explore the beautiful region with family or friends, the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage is the perfect spot. You can sit outside on the veranda and watch kangaroos and birds or sit under the gazebo and enjoy a picnic. Stephanie is the most lovely host you will ever meet!

The location of this property is excellent — within a 10-minute drive to all the local restaurants and Lake Daylesford. The interior is simply yet comfortably furnished, making it a great option for a short family getaway. If you’re not bothered by being close to the main road, it’s not an issue. For families considering a longer stay, having a dryer would make it even more perfect.

Great location easy walk to the main area. Only a small house, but served our needs. Even though it was a cold weekend, the heating was able to get the house warm. Would stay again!

We loved other little family vacay in Daylesford. We booked the Airbnb very last minute in which Anthony & Andrew were very accomodating and allowed us to check in within two hours of booking. They were extremely friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. The cottage was very cute and so close to the main shops. Highly recommend!
