If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to spend a few days, I could not recommend Jenny-Lee's place high enough. When my wife and I, and our 5 year old grandson walked into the house, I quickly sent a text to Jen that said simply: "Jen, this is beautiful." and I meant it. While we were there, Jen's daughter brought down two of the gentlest horses I have ever met and allowed our grandson to feed them carrots, quite a thrill for a city kid. This morning when we woke, there was kangaroo poop all over the place, so we knew they were around. After a very short walk on the property, we found a good size mob. Kookaburras greeted us both at night and in the mornings.

Tintin was the perfect getaway! Mary was so welcoming and has put so many little touches and extra effort in to make the stay comfortable. We had everything we needed plus more. We would definitely stay again 💛

We had the most wonderful time at the Maggie May cottage! Selena was such a great host, giving us awesome local recommendations and being available to answer any questions we had. The cottage was impeccably clean and organised, with everything being easy to find. Our stay felt very comfortable and luxurious, our children enjoyed all of the toys & games available too! This place is amazing, exactly as described. Big beautiful space, very comfortable beds and even has extra pillows 😍 Very convenient location, place is easy to find. I highly recommend staying here, and the host, Luke, is very friendly, easy to communicate with. Could not find a single fault with our stay and would definitely stay here again when we're in the area next. 11/10 ⭐

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables. Selena was a friendly, generous, and flexible host who made us feel very welcome. The fireplace created a super cosy atmosphere and the beds were really comfortable, with heaters in each room for extra comfort. The home was clean, tidy, and spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen, including delicious butter and jam. The aesthetic was lovely, with beautiful stone walls, modern yet homely decor and tasteful touches throughout. The farm surroundings were pretty, with sheep, chickens, and a very cute dog who greeted us. It’s a great spot for families, with plenty of books, games, and toys, plus a ping pong table in the function space. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Mount Buninyong, an extinct volcanic mountain. Climbing the lookout tower there gave us a great view of the area.

We loved our time at Rosie's Cottage. It's in a beautiful setting, comfortable with every kitchen utensil you could want. Lovely bathroom, plenty of air-conditioning for comfort and very comfortable bedding with beautiful linen. The dog safe area was of a good size and provided good sniffing and visual stimulation. We will be return visitors.

Thank you Kurt and Nan. Your hospitality, kindness, warmth and generosity are truly unprecedented. You both are such wonderful people and it shows in the way you treated us—not just a guests but as friends. Your place was a home away from home indeed. It was comfortable, safe, cosy and well equipped. Spending time with you both was indeed the highlight of our trip. It was like visiting the parents. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home. I think my husband teared up a bit to see how our little one just loved you guys. Thank you for all the generous goodies-milk, cereal, yogurt, juice, chocolates, coffee machine, butter and so much more. Thank you for also showing our little one the possum and for inviting us in for a drink and a chat. It was so, so nice. Thank you, Kurt and Nan! Hope this is not goodbye, but “see you soon again”. Catherine and James were very friendly, and accommodating during our stay. I can see that a lot of thought has been put into curating the beautiful cottage. With it being only 20 minutes from Daylesford, and 20 minutes from Ballarat., It was a perfect Inbetween spot for day trips, and accommodating other activities. Would definitely love to stay with him again in the future!

We had such a fantastic stay at t’ Boshuus. It was the ideal location for a family long weekend getaway. The house is so comfortable, homely and well equipped with everything you need. The surrounds and wildlife are beautiful, and there is a great outdoor space to enjoy it all. It was so nice being so close to the state forest for walks and bike rides. The kids loved finding skinks and seeing chickens lay eggs for the first time. Janneke is a fantastic host, very proactive with ensuring we were well informed for a fantastic stay. Many thanks!
