I had a lovely stay at the Barn, It was exceptional, warm and welcoming host and a nice peaceful getaway with lots of cool quirky artwork. There’s also a ton of board games which made it very easy to switch off and not be on phones. 20 mins to Ballarat main town restaurants. Would definitely recommend this stay.

From booking to checkout Kelly and Romney were super helpful and responsive. The place was tidy, thoughtfully stocked and presented.

My partner and I had an amazing, peaceful stay at Tiny Away! The tiny home itself was lovely and had great use of space, not to mention an efficiently working aircon as it was a really hot day. The 5 star nature view really was the cherry on top, especially to wake up to. Thank you, we will definitely be back again in the future 😊

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Catherine’s place and it is a sheer delight. Perfect position to explore the best of Ballarat and a beautifully presented place to relax and feel at home. Couldn’t rate it highly enough.

This was a great stay in a nice, clean house in a good location to explore the surroundings. The beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Linda’s place was perfect for me arriving late, clear instructions so I had no issues getting in, and ample space for my work vehicle. Will definitely use her again when in town again!

We had a fabulous weekend at Azidene and would highly recommend it! David was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the private garden setting and the proximity to everything.

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

A well-appointed and comfortable apartment a stone’s throw from the lake in Ballarat. The property is within walking distance of some fine cafes (we particularly enjoyed Webster’s Market & Cafe) whilst the city centre is a short car trip away. The apartment was ideal for our purposes: a short stay in Ballarat to participate in a cycling event starting from Lake Wendouree. Jessica was an excellent host; she gave clear instructions and responded to questions quickly. Highly recommended.

Perfectly described as French style apartment, although a whole lot larger than in France. it was gorgeous, felt right at home, it was definitely my vibe. We really enjoyed our stay & the place is very comfortable, there is everything you would need for either a short stay or a long stay & the added bonus of the Ecasa homewares store below was a must to visit & the chance to purchase some of the lovely decor in the apartment sold there as well. Its so central, everything within walking distance. Daylesford is a great getaway location & I would love to return to this apartment again one day.

We had a great time in Ballarat. The unit was beautiful inside and the courtyard was great size. Jess was amazing and she told us all we needed to know. Only thing is instructions on how to lock the door when you went out. But that was extremely minimal. Perfect proximity for us as it was only short drives to everywhere around Ballarat and where we went. If we come back to Ballarat we e definitely will keep this place in mind. Thanks Jess and Craig.

Great place. Love the dogs (particularly Violet), Colin the cat and the horses. Owner was nice. Shower pressure is fantastic. You could clean an elephant in there. No complaints.

Absolutely beautiful little weekend getaway for two couples and a dog. Great kitchen, separate sleeping spaces and the views out of the lounge over the dam were magnificent.

Perfect place to stay for the weekend was in a great spot just out of town so it was quiet enough but also not far to go down the street or go out for dinner

Great location easy walk to the main area. Only a small house, but served our needs. Even though it was a cold weekend, the heating was able to get the house warm. Would stay again!

Enjoyed a mini getaway with my kelpie. Bidwell cottage is an excellent option in Daylesford, with a short walk down the road to the lake and many walking tracks around the area. The cottage is very comfortable, well furnished and lovely homely decor and interior design. Highly recommend and will definitely be back ! Thanks Andrew and Anthony

Me and my partner loved the stay, very peaceful getaway. We really appreciated the amount of silence and fresh air in the area, highly recommend for couples and small families that just need a break. Would definitely come back again!
