After having to change our plans due to cyclone Alfred, we decided on Kristy’s place based on reviews, photos and general knowledge of the location. Initially there was a little confusion of where the lockbox was, but once sorted we found the unit very inviting. A short stroll to the beautiful beach, heaps of choices for meals within easy walking distance. 25 min drive to Currumbin Rock Pool and Long Tan Park. The grounds man of the unit complex worked diligently to keep the grounds looking smart. Kristy was always responsive to any questions/feedback about a couple of easy to fix maintenance points we had/provided. The fan in main bedroom you need to turn main switch before using the remote control. 😊Tea-towels were supplied, but no dishcloths, which wasn’t really an issue as I had packed paper towels. Overall it was a very relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this unit. If there were other units in the complex to rent it would be a great location for a family reunion.

Great place to stay in every way! Ron is a very responsive host and helped make our stay relaxing and special. Check In and Carpark instructions were clear and included photos. Super location for the beach, restaurants, surf clubs, cinema, ice cream and shopping. Excellent walks including Snapper Rocks and Kirra. Calypso Resort has a great Pool in beautiful gardens plus slides, bubble pool and kiddies pool. Accommodation included a one bedroom apartment and a studio. It afforded privacy in each when needed and the opportunity to be together in the kitchen diner, living room and large patio. The ground floor corner position makes it quiet and easy to access the pools and beach via the gates. Coolangatta affords access to several beaches and lifeguards in the flagged areas. The ocean was warm and we were able to swim and body surf in lifeguarded areas between 9am & 5/6pm. A great holiday - thank you Ron. 🏝️

We were away for a girls trip and all 5 of us were impressed with the unit. So much space, very clean, air conditioned and walking distance to everything. Very quiet even though we were on main esplanade.

Great location, walkable to everything. Car was left in parking majority of the time. We were there for Volleyslam and ideal location, could see the courts from balcony and bedroom windows. Walking easily to the events on the beach and back

Certainly very central and right across the road from the beach. Short Walk to Main Street Byron restaurants, shops etc. the unit was very comfortable and everything was provided in the way of bedding, and kitchen utensils, items for the bathrooms and laundry.....and we couldn't fault it. Would happily recommend to all.

better than Byron, far less noise ,easy parking, friendly locals ,and a tranquil post card rainforest almost touching the balcony was always a treat , not too many places like this. A endless beach front only a short stroll to it opened to a panorama of wordless beauty , letting my hair down[ even if i don't have much on top] is what everyone should do regularly ; still buzzing. Great stay and location to the beach. Beautiful amenities including the spa and pool area. Parking spot was too small for our people mover but street parking was easy to find and convenient. Beautiful apartment with everything we needed. Thanks for a great Palm Beach stay! 🌴🌻

So peaceful ! Rained overnight and the rain on the roof sounded amazing. Could easily stay a week and escape from the world :)

Great home, great location and Carmel is a great host!

What a fabulous little bungalow! We were greeted with some special local treats and a bottle of wine and the air conditioning on, which was a the icing on the cake after a 3 hour drive in terrible traffic. Our only gripe would be that the listing said "direct access to the beach". Although this is true, via walking through the estate, it was not direct from the bungalow which was our expectation. Don't get us wrong, the walk is still short and tranquil. The bungalow is great, quiet and peaceful. It was nice to fall asleep listening to the waves crashing at night. Brough back great childhood memories. 100% worth a stay.

We stayed with our whole family of 10 adults and 3 toddlers and there was more than enough room for everyone. It is a fantastic location and a fantastic house with lots of things to do. Definitely would stay again. Perfect location for a family holiday. Thanks Jason.

Alan was very helpful with directions, house was very clean and comfortable, matched the photos, perfect distance from hiking trails and waterfalls, just a great area overall, would recommend.

Exceeded our expectations on every level! Such a lovely piece of paradise, Jason and Donna went above and beyond, it was my partners birthday and she couldnt have been more impressed. We want to live there lol. Beds were comfy, the decor os amazing and the little touches at every turn showed they really have gone the extra mile in providing something truly amazing. We will be back again and again. Thanks guys for making it a truly memorable trip for us.

We just returned from the most perfect little birthday getaway, and this place was truly a slice of heaven. Right on the beach, we could hear the waves from bed and step out onto the sand within seconds. The setting was peaceful and absolutely stunning – the kind of spot that instantly helps you unwind. What made it even more special was the beautiful family who hosted us. They were so welcoming and kind – the host, his lovely wife, and their gorgeous girls made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s clear they’ve put so much heart into creating a space that’s warm, relaxing, and truly memorable. Highly recommend if you’re after a beachside escape with soul.

My flight got cancelled. Hotels were mostly booked. They opened their Airbnb up for me last minute and was happy to have this clean place to stay. If I had longer, it would’ve been right at the beach and a great location to enjoy more. It was easy access to the airport.

Amanda was a very friendly and knowledgable host. She gave us loads of recommendations, not only in Gold Coast but helped throughout the rest of our travels too. The apartment was amazing, comfortable bed with big kitchen and living area and the view from the balcony was soo beautiful. Easy transport links to great near by areas. We would definitely advise people to stay here and we look forward to returning in the future!

Wow wow wow. One of the best accommodations I have ever been to. The Airbnb is super clean, well kept and spacious. We felt super comfortable during our stay. Furthermore, the area is really nice. The beach is only a couple of minutes away and there are restaurants and cafes as well. Sammi was super kind, helpful and quick to respond. She even allowed us to check in a few our early which helped us massively since we had a lot of baggage. Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough.

We had the most wonderful holiday in Coolangatta, and absolutely loved Toni's apartment. It's gorgeous with the most amazing views, extremely comfortable and everything we need on our doorstep. We were spoilt with whales passing through the region during our stay - from our apartment we had incredible views of the ocean and could see the whales all day, it was amazing. Thank you Toni for all your tips on what to do and where we could hire bikes, boogie boards, surf boards etc! We packed so much into our holiday and can't wait to come back!
