The place is as advertised. While it could be cleaner, it's not too bad. The furniture is in good condition, which adds to the comfort. The smart TVs are a nice addition, but unfortunately, none of the apps (DSTV, Netflix, Showmax) were working. Access and entry procedures are simple and straightforward. The host’s communication was excellent—responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Checkout can be a bit challenging for a family with kids, but it's understandable. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely go back.

Beautiful home, the pictures don't do it justice. All the rooms are beautiful and spotless. The estate has great activities, including walking and bike trails. Ana was also very engaging, proactive and communicated well. The helper kept the house clean at all times and was friendly. The dogs also added to the fun. A few glitches like the freezer not working after arrival but Ana made a plan. We could have done with more cupboard space as we were a big family with lots of groceries and had to keep them on the counters Overall magnificent holiday... a proper fun house. Highly recommended.

The place was great, even better than the pictures. All the amenities listed were available and so much more. It’s a dream for young kids, because of the large pool and yard space to run around. The communication was great, all our questions were answered very quickly. The place was spotless and remained so for our entire stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Jacques' place in Casa Playa truly delivers on its promise of a beachfront, modern, and luxurious stay. The space is impeccably clean, warm, and inviting—perfect for both friends and family. The quality of the furniture and appliances was excellent, and we lacked nothing during our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful complimentary bowl of biscuits, candy, and fresh fruit, along with milk and juice provided for our convenience. The warm welcome and friendliness of the staff made our experience even more enjoyable. This place is not only affordable but also offers a memorable and relaxing getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful beachfront escape!

Great spot to be if you want to experience Zimbali has to offer. A proper inverter system would be great improvement

We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. Gary is a great host, very responsive and flexible with our check-in times, which we really appreciated. The place has stunning views, on the beach, spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the view so much we stayed in on our first night! Highly recommended and we will most definitely return, hopefully soon.

What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. An absolute paradise! Great for all ages, we had from a toddler for the day to 85 year old mama, who all felt at home and had a wonderful time. We lived on the back porch, soaking in the sun and breeze and catching up with each other after 2 years apart. Would absolutely stay again!

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Roelof was so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, being so close to the beach! We had a great time on our holiday and will definitely visit again!

This little charming house is so closed to the ocean that sound of the waves can lullaby you. It has it's own garden with braai an monkeys running around and wonderful, very intimate terrace. House is packed with everything you need, including even water and milk. Also Warren is a very nice and helpful person!. Due to the alarm system you can feel there really safe. We liked this place so much that we booked it once more ;)

Ashley was a wonderful host, very helpful and good communication! The house was great had everything you needed and the open plan lives so well! Only downside there was only AC in the main bedroom but all rooms had fans. We loved our stay!

Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

We had a great stay at Wayne's place! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main beach. While the unit differed slightly from the one we originally booked, it still had everything we needed for a relaxing December holiday. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it!

The house was the most beautiful place you have ever rented. The house and furnishings were of an extremely high standard, luxurious, comfortable and every need was catered for. Beautiful entertaining area outside with swimming pool and bar. Staying in this home, was the same as staying in a luxury 5 stay hotel except it was homely, beautifully furnished and extremely spacious. l If you ever have the opportunity of staying in this beautiful home, you will not be disappointed as it exceeded all expectations.
