We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. An absolute paradise! Great for all ages, we had from a toddler for the day to 85 year old mama, who all felt at home and had a wonderful time. We lived on the back porch, soaking in the sun and breeze and catching up with each other after 2 years apart. Would absolutely stay again!

Hands down the The most beautiful airbnb i have ever stayed at, looked exactly like the pictures. I tried to extend my stay but it was unfortunately booked out, which i am not surprised. Love love this place

We recently booked to stay at Zimbali for a family trip and had the most wonderful stay! Wendy was amazing throughout - really communicative and even helped us out with a late checkout which was really appreciated. The villa is incredible and surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. There are plenty of activities (tennis, pickleball etc) across the estate and lovely restaurants too. We loved our stay and will hopefully be back again!!

A beautiful home, stunning furnishings, kitchen was well equipped, clean towels, huge patio with sun loungers, wonderfully large patio table, bar fridge & the most comfortable lounging chairs. Spotless, bedrooms & bathrooms. Serene position within the Simbithi forest, trails right off the back garden, what more could one ask.. We spent our family holiday, all 7 of us loved relaxing at Terry’s & Paul’s place, it was simply beautiful.

This was our first time in Ballito and we absolutely loved it. There is a tidal pool that is walking distance from the house and it was great for the little ones. Also nice that it is right next to restaurants and the Spar so you can get what you need or have a sit down meal whilst you are out. The house is absolutely stunning. If you came for ocean views, this is the place. You can see the boats launching in the morning and the dolphins travelling to and frow going about their morning business. We even saw some dolphins surfing the waves down below! The rooms are big and the kitchen is fully equipped. The lounge TV is like being in a cinema and the wifi is lightning fast. Outside you have the tranquility of a beautiful garden and the the sound and sight of the ocean. There is even a pizza oven and a heated pool! We liked the top terrace. There is a boma. and you can see all the way to Durban! Half the rooms have direct outside access which is nice to come and go. We will be back

VJ was such ana amazing host who was always available to cater to our request. I would highly recommend him and a house and his property for a get way with family and friends. There's so many exciting activities to do on the estate so would highly recommend staying longer than a weekend.

Thanks again Leo and Kerry .. we had a fantastic 2 weeks break ! You guys really made the holiday amazing! We enjoyed no1 crayfish ! Zandi was once again super awesome !
