I cannot recommend The Old Milking Stall (Tim and Barbara) enough!! I stayed there with my family for 4 days and it was more than we could imagine! Tim and Barbara themselves are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t be any nicer if they tried! They provide a thoughtful welcome hamper! And for their home it is gorgeous! So beautiful from the garden to the reading nook, it’s perfect for all! Their pet dogs being your friend is a bonus! If you need any help they are willing to do what they can from taxi advice to food recommendations! If you need a place to stay in Skibbereen, The Old Milking Stall is definitely the place to stay! If you're looking for a clean, safe, spacious, remote home with plenty of bathrooms, natural light, beautiful views, a laundry room and hosts who will call your delivery driver to give him directions so you can get your food, this is the place for you. We used this as a home base for day trips all over Western Ireland - Killarney National Park and Kerry Cliffs, Slea Head Drive, The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher, and Blarney Castle. We weren't close to our destinations, but that was part of the adventure - driving narrow country roads, stopping in villages along the way, and enjoying the scenic landscape. Our hosts responded immediately to our questions and provided a binder of useful information. We recommend you take a walk (go left out of the driveway) for some more gorgeous views.

A lovely little space, very close to Killarney if you're driving. The house was cozy and well decorated, had absolutely incredible views, and even has a cute little walk along a creek out back. The kitchen had everything you needed, but was a little light on some options - but other than that, the house was very well appointed. I'd recommend it for future stays!

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was with Annette. The location is ideal- romantic and very private. A gorgeous property, and a beautifully appointed cottage with a great eye to detail. Annette is a wonderful host, and made sure we had everything we need. Truly, one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.

Warren has been a great host and the place is incredible. The house is situated with amazing views and incredibly close to the main village with pubs, restaurants, access to the ferry and a great place to make home base to explore West Cork. We couldn’t be more thankful for getting to stay here.
