Just came back from a fabulous two night stay at the old dairy. Ainslie made sure the heating and lights were on for us arriving back at the property on our first night whilst we attended a wedding which was made us feel so very welcome. There was some breakfast bits for the following day in the fridge, plenty of towels, coffee pods, hot chocolate sachets etc kitchen was well equipped. Log burner was a lovely extra as well! absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I even forgot a phone charger & ainslie was straight round to let me borrow one! 10/10 host so friendly and accommodating and would recommend this place to anyone! A very kind woman runs this place & anyone booking will not be disappointed - highly recommend!!! A very cute & quirky stay! Thanks you again for such a lovely stay.

My best friend and I rented the place to celebrate our birthday with some beautiful countryside and a hot tub, it really exceeded our expectations. We had issues turning the hot tub on and off again but in terms of using it was perfect. All the amenities were in great working order and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for families as well with the massive garden and barbecue:)

What an amazing little place! Dawn is extremely informative about the local area, gave us very handy tips about Scotland! She is very friendly and a great host. The cottage itself was extremely cosy, thank you for your hospitality, I will absolutely be back in the future ✨

Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

Excellent stay at Helen’s cottage, so peaceful and very homely. Games room and hot tub are excellent. Would definitely stay again 🙂

A gorgeous place to stay, really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return in summer time! Should be made aware of the road to the cottage as it’s made for bigger cars on a dirt road. Our smaller cars scraped along, could damage underneath car and not great for your tyres but apart from that it was excellent. We were able to get a late check out which was appreciated as with late check-in and early check-out you only really get 1 full day if staying for the weekend. Lovely hosts and very spacious cottages😁would happily return!

It was a beautiful stay. We especially enjoyed the quaint surroundings and the tasteful interiors as well as the private hot tub. Everything was spotless yet cosy. 10/10 would come again, maybe when nature is blooming around the property.

Brett's cottage is outstanding. The surroundings were tranquil. wish I had the time to explore more whilst staying in the cottage as Shandwick was so lovely. Would recommend this little piece of serenity to anyone looking to explore the north Highlands.

Really lovely break, everything was exactly as expected from the photos and listing. Nice little touches such as some food and a few pet supplies left for us. Very clear instructions on navigating and arrival. Would highly recommend!

Great place with fantastic equipment and set up, good kitchen and social spaces, overall spot in but worth noting it is quite close to the railway line, not a huge issue as it's quite a quiet line. Overall great.

Our second stay here, we love it. The cottage is beautiful as are the surroundings. Lots of nature & fabulous walks. Especially loved watching the birds, red squirrels & woodpecker at the feeder by the window. The hosts are very friendly & very responsive to any queries. Hope to be back again soon!

Our second visit to Yvonne's cottage and it was just as last time - spotlessly clean and very well equipped - lovely walks without using the car. We will be back!!

Had a great time, Laura and family were very helpful with a minor hiccup one evening. Great venue family loved it. Good location for day trips including Loch Lomond and Royal Yacht.

Have stayed in cottage several times, love it. Had a great catch up with old workmates in very cosy setting.

We stayed for work and Paul was responsive to everything we needed.

Colin and Ann gave us a friendly feeling during booking and this continued when we arrived. Ann greeted us on arrival and gave plenty of local recommendations. The property was warm and cosy, and contained everything you could possibly need. There are stunning views from both sides of the house.

Wow where do I start , the cottage is beautiful warm and cosy , extremely clean , felt right at home , well equipped, everything you need , want to live there 😀

We spent a very cosy couple of days enjoying this beautiful space with howling winds and torrential rain outside. It had everything we needed, from the spacious, well-lit, living room filled with wonderful artwork; a well equipped kitchen; comfortable bed with the sound of running water outside; and the most luxurious bath tub (and powerful shower). We will happily return.

Great place to stay in Grantown! We stayed here previously in 2021, and could tell that effort has been put into maintaining the property over the years, keeping it modern and immaculately clean. We would definitely return again in the future, and recommend this place to others.

Stayed for 3 nights with my dog. Holmhead exceeded my expectations and I felt instantly at home. The location is superb and perfect for exploring the Cairngorms or even just stepping outside the front door and being in the forest. The cottage is extremely well equipped for its size and I found a few things, for guests use, that I wasn't quite expecting, (hot water bottles :) ). The brand new electric heating is very effective and the log burner is 'ferocious', but definitely a must when temperatures were below freezing. Cat is a very gracious, accommodating and genial host. I would definitely stay here again and recommend thoroughly.

Our second stay of the year at this exquisite wee cottage, this time surrounded by the beauty of autumn. The cottage has everything you need, thoughtfully arranged. Owner Briony is friendly and helpful. Perfect, quiet location with so many gorgeous walks nearby. Ate at Andersons in Boat of Garten, recommended. Will definitely return again to Sycamore cottage.

We had such a lovely week in the Scottish Highlands; the house was warm and cosy, and allowed plenty of room for our family of 5. The setting in the regenerating forest was beautiful with views out to the nearby mountains. We were lucky enough to have dustings of snow during our stay. Would highly recommend this property for anybody who wants to stay off the beaten track but still wants an easy drive to an array of local attractions. Thank you for having us!
