We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. We had a lovely few days here. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. The garden is enclosed and there were even treats for the dog and a crate already here. The place looks so adorable both inside and out it was a gorgeous place to be. We relaxed at the cottage on one day, explored the neighbouring coast, and took the train to Edinburgh. Perfect Easter break.

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

As far as hosts go - I have to say that these folks were outstanding. The accommodation was exactly as described. Comfy beds, fully kitted kitchen, all the appliances we needed for a family of 5. The only drawback was that things felt a little dated, but that’s such a minor drawback it hardly made any difference to us.

We spent a wonderful week in Mill Barn. Lots of small touches like flowers on arrival, brownies, milk in the fridge and the fire set up made the place really welcoming and inviting. Nice walk to the local pub but be prepared for the hill back up. Overall would highly recommend.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our two young children. The cottage was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We particularly enjoyed spotting deer and lambs out of the sun room window on the morning. Then after a day exploring the surrounding area ( easily accessible by car, but also enjoyed local walking routes from the front door) we would relax in the hot tub and gaze up at the clear starry skies. The hosts were extremely friendly and let us see the new born lambs. We would definitely love to return here and we can’t recommend this place enough.

Honestly, everything everyone else said. Such a lovely home. Perfect for a multi generational holiday or a large group of friends. Owner friendly without being intrusive. Would recommend.

Beautiful, spacious and homely lodge in lovely surroundings. The welcome pack was delightful. We used the lodge as a base to travel across the border, to visit Holly Island, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick and more. The hot tub was a welcome treat when we arrived back each evening - clean, well maintained and checked daily. Great communication with the host Vickie with clear arrival instructions. Thank you

We had a great stay-the house is light, spacious and clean and the garden was great for our dog, who enjoyed exploring it. The Sainsbury’s Local which is a few minutes walk away was very handy for a few essentials when we arrived!

Follions is a great large house for a family/friends get together. Lots of space inside and out and plenty of stuff in the kitchen to cook up a feast for everyone. There was a slight issue with the heating when we arrived but Richard answered our call straight away and talked us through getting it fixed and after that the house was lovely and warm the rest of the weekend. Great selection of games and dvds too!

We had a very relaxing stay in this well proportioned property. The outlook was beautiful and the inside was exceptionally well maintained, with lots of amenities. The power shower was great and the conservatory and patio brought the outside in, as we had exceptionally good weather for the duration of our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick, Amble and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Thank you to Ian and Sharon who made us feel very welcome and a scruffle for Willow.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, lovely friendly lady met us as we arrived. Very peaceful pretty location. Felt like home from home. Every possible thing you could need is thought of. Gorgeous baking left for us and homemade jam little lovely extras. Just perfect

The iron chapel is a wonderful place to stay, full of character, and a lovely place to spend time with family. Lisa and Michael were great hosts, very quick to reply to any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the iron chapel. Andy & Sarah.

Thanks so much for having us. Comfiest fold out bed I’ve ever slept on and great space. Beautiful village. Even got invited to the local quiz which we would have loved to join but unfortunately had to work! Hopefully will come back again for a holiday soon.

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

We had a great stay at Blackberry cottage. The location is perfect, with walks from the door and only a short drive to Warkworth beach, which is huge and mostly empty, so ideal for us and our dog. The cottage had everything we needed and some nice welcome treats, and Ali was very good at communicating. Thanks for a lovely stay.

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

Absolutely excellent! Wish I could give John and Honeymug six stars. The cottage was a true home-from-home. It was comfy, cosy, well-equipped and just perfect for a family getaway. The host really had thought of everything from local walk guides, books, DVDs, towels for the dog … everything! I could’ve stayed for weeks. The holiday cottage site was an amazing bonus. We were expecting a pool and a gym, however these has recently been renovated to include an outside hot tub, sauna, steam room and excellent luxe facilities. An amazing added bonus. I didn’t want to leave! My teenager loved the gym while his younger siblings enjoyed the games room with pool table. We were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant on site too. We had an issue with the DVD player not working and John came the next day to replace it. Awesome host. Beautiful location. Fantastic base to explore Northumberland and everything it has to offer. Highly recommend!

Fabulous little cottage. It's in a great area for nearby attractions. The Cottage itself is so pretty and contains everything you'd need. The games room, the pool and the chickens are an added bonus. We had a lovely stay.

Spacious and warm cottage in a great location for exploring beautiful Northumberland. Bellingham is a great place to stay with pubs, places to eat, co-op, butchers, etc. We loved the Hareshaw Linn walk to the waterfall, followed by a visit to Tea on The Train, which is a fun way to have lunch on an old Inter City train carriage! Kielder Observatory is only 30 minutes away for unbeatable stargazing. What a fantastic trip! We will look for Norma's cottage again on our next visit to Northumberland.

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!
