The farmhouse was exactly what we needed for a quick "meet in the middle" get-together with our kids that are now living in Ottawa and Toronto. Denise was an excellent host and the farmhouse has absolutely everything, really. It is the most well equipped Airbnb that we have stayed at. Denise was very accommodating as we had left the birthday cake behind and had to return well after our checkout to retrieve it. It was just too bad we only had the one night!

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

I can't thank Tracey enough when it came to booking her beautiful home. I made this booking last minute for family travelling last minute from the UK. Tracey answered all of my questions promptly and was more than accommodating. The family absolutely loved the house and some are planning to try and book in the future.

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. We had a wonderful stay at Sylvia's place ! The accommodation was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and you are surrounded by trees and meadows. We were able to reach all our destinations in Peterborough within 15 minutes. The house had all the amenities that we needed. We would stay there any time again.

Helena was amazing. Exceptionally helpful and accomodating when we ran into issues on our end. Would definitely recommend this location and definitely would return!

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay at "Peace" of Eden! The property is incredibly beautiful, spacious, and peaceful—perfect for unwinding. Deborah and Ross are fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. When I mentioned the microwave wasn’t working, they replaced it the very next day! The place was spotless, and the serene atmosphere made me feel like I could sleep all day. I highly recommend this little slice of paradise!

We had a great stay at this cottage over the long weekend. The location is safe and quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottage is spacious, with a large common area perfect for relaxing. The house was clean and well-kept, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway.

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

Stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect. George was a great host, would definitely recommend.

The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Zac and Steph were super friendly and responsive. Their place was very clean and exactly as described. We had a lovely weekend in the pod :) Definitely would recommend.

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Wasn’t able to stay. But the host was great at maintaining communication every step of the way, sending me on going updates. The cancellation went smoothly and she made sure I understood everything.

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)
