Amazing bungalow, has absolutely everything you could want. Cute kitchen with a 3/4 fridge (big for a one room bungalow), work desk/table, wonderful little plunge pool, great bed, AC was perfect, perfect bathroom, nothing needed or left out. The location is a 10-minute walk or 2-minute scooter ride from the main road which is what you want in Ubud where it can get a little hectic and loud from scooters. Being in this part of Ubud is an absolute must for me, the downtown area near the palace has a much more aggressive and intense vibe than this part (though not far away) it is much more kind and chill. The host is incredibly kind and responsive. The bungalow is better than the pictures, the neighborhood is safe and the house itself is incredibly secure. Will book again next time coming through Ubud, no doubt. Loved it!

This is the third time I’ve stayed in this villa. It’s very comfortable with close access to the Bintang supermarket and four excellent restaurants, and an easy walk to central ubud although older people might want to take a taxi back because it’s uphill. The staff communicate very promptly and will be happy to leave you alone if that’s your preference. The villa is on a quiet lane and scooter’s can’t go to the villa they have to stop about 70 metres away which makes it very peaceful. The small village close by is also scooter free and has two restaurants making it a very tranquil experience.

Very nice house with a small garden. The way the house was built allowed breeze to flow, so it was not stuffy at all even in hot weather. With the plants and trees around, it gives relaxation. House was built with care and details. One can feel the effort put into it. The breakfast, at an additional fee was absolutely worth it. Healthy and hearty. Nyoman is a great host and shared information about getting around, arranging airport transfer for us for a big group of 6 with luggage. Thank you so much Nyoman & family, we had a wonderful time and carried loads of wonderful memories home 😊

Great, cozy little bungalow away from the hustle and bustle but so close to town. Wi-Fi worked well, AC was great and the fully stocked kitchen was wonderful. The yard and street to get to the house does get pretty muddy and messy when it rains but that’s to be expected during rainy season. Yes you hear the roosters, but that’s Bali and didn’t bother me one bit ☺️ it’s like your own little oasis! I slept so good! Would definitely come back.

This place is as magical as it looks! It’s a hidden gem, surrounded by plenty of great restaurants, coffee shops, and an amazing yoga studio. Kadek was easily the friendliest and kindest host I’ve ever stayed with, which made our already amazing experience even better! He helped us with checking in and out, and carried our luggage for us too. I can’t say enough good things!

The house is beautiful. You can see the jungle from the house, which is very calming. The bed is very comfortable and has a mosquito net. We were there during rainy season. The path to the house can get very slippery and there are some big stairs. Be very carefull. The toilet is outside and very clean. Just know, that there will be some insects, that can come an visit you. The house comes with drinking water. The owner is super friendly and very helpful.

This peaceful place was an amazing space. Had great areas for relaxing, quite pool and located away from the main street but close enough to walk everywhere. The host were sensational, always checking in on you but giving you space when you need it. Would recommend this spot for a few mates, or a couple to relax but be close to the action.

Had a great stay at Wayan’s in Ubud. The place is fairly well located - 5-10 minutes scooter/cab ride to the Ubud main market with multiple restaurants and shops which are within 2 minutes walking distance from the villa. The Villa is spacious and clean and the pool is fairly large and well maintained. There are two bedrooms - one at the upper floor which has the kitchen and one at the lower floor next to the pool. The bed of the lower floor is slightly squeaky and wobbly and makes noises when shuffling at night so that’s the only thing worth highlighting for improvement. Yogi - the caretaker is good and very helpful and cheerful - making good breakfast every morning. Compared to our other properties in Bali (Seminyak, Gilli etc) the variety of the breakfast spread can be improved. Overall we had a great stay and I would highly recommend the villa to others.

We had a great 2 week stay at the villa, it was spacious for a family of 4, clean and comfortable. The hosts came daily to provide breakfast and helpful recommendations. The pool was great to have for very hot days .... The location is close local restaurants/cafes and a short ride to the main area. Thank you for the stay!

Huset var större än det såg ut på bilderna, stora fina rum. Väldigt rent och fräscht, men det är ett hus som är 25 år gammalt. Frukosten var fantastiskt. Omelett och pannkakor som var de bästa hittills på resan. Wayan och hans fru tog väldigt väl hand om oss 🤩 Det enda som störde, var att det pågick ett byggnadsarbete precis nedanför. De kom in i en fas när det bankade och slog väldigt mycket. Men hade vi inte varit hemma och sjuka mitt på dagen, hade vi knappt märkt av det. Väldigt prisvärt boende med den goda frukosten och transfer in till Ubud C.

Villa Gita is the kind of place where you go to really get away and relax. It’s great for a group of people who want to be away from the hustle and bustle and really live in a real Balinese village. You’ll see perfectly dark skies at night from the pool and be spoiled be the beauty of nature around the property. The staff at the house was so nice and helpful. Ayu will organize great food and will organize picking up any grocery and special items for you as you’re around a 10 minute scooter ride from the nearest mini mart. Theres a local guy named Wayan who drove our party around the island and was completely sweet and informative about sites to see and local knowledge. He even took me to a special Barong cleansing ceremony in the mountains that was maybe the highlight of my weeks spent in Bali this round. His rates are very reasonable and such a better way to drive around than trying to rent a car. It’s an amazing place to kick off epic motorcycle journeys on epic country roads

We LOVED staying at Agus' place! whilst it's not walking distance to Ubud city, this is better because you can experience local eateries which are 10x better and the staff are more friendly! everyone in the street was nice, helpful and friendly and Agus & his family are so welcoming. their dog Cinta is so adorable!!!! and very friendly!!!! Our favourite restaurant was Tini's Coconut Kitchen just 10 min walk away!

I’m the most amazed about the hospitality and the help living in this cozy near the river jungle cabin. The place was very cozy Well loved chatting with the family about Bali There is beautiful pool and quite a lot of stairs, beautiful road to the house in the depth of the establishment We really recommend this day because it’s close to booth center and the Alchemy and zest restaurants Also, definitely check Cupid barbecue and it’s grilled chicken steak.

We had a great stay. The villa met every need. Large common indoor space, indoor kitchen, pool, 2 bathrooms and an outdoor space. The villa was clean and was cleaned everyday if you wanted by Ibu and Agus. They were amazing and Ibu makes great breakfast. If you needed anything they were there to help. The listing was 100% accurate and there were no surprises. You have to keep in mind that you are in the jungle. We did have a gecko roommate. There were really no mosquitoes. But they said that in the listing. The location is within 10-15 mins from ubud city central on a scooter. The location is quiet. Recommend taking a picture of the beginning of the alley as well as the front door to send to grab or gojek drivers when they are picking up or delivering food. Otherwise there is plenty to do near Sayan. The neighborhood is nice and tranquil. Would stay there again

Cannot rave enough about the place, it was more than you could wish for! Stunning picturesque surroundings, easy to get to location with a lot of activities nearby, very comfortable and beautifully designed villas with all the amenities and service of a 5 star hotel. Really grateful to the staff and the owner who made our stay unforgettable( we have even extended because we have enjoyed it so much) and our anniversary special by very special flowers decoration in our room and a candle lit dinner. The villas are more than reasonably price and extra services are very affordable. Highly recommend their spa, it’s an absolute must while you are here with very skilful therapists.

I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at Santra Putra and about the wonderful hosts, Komang and his family. What a special, special place. The room was spacious and lovely and surrounded by lush beautiful gardens teeming with flowers and birds and riotous greenery. There is art everywhere and the founder is an accomplished and talented artist and educator. His wife Made and sister in law Ketut, and son Komang, and the team there are all just amazing humans, full of goodwill, humor and kindness. I can’t believe I dropped into this awesomeness. Santra Putra draws some wonderful people as well and conversations around the breakfast table were wonderful and generative. I felt the perfect balance of privacy and connectivity. The kitchen in my space was great for my needs and I felt right at home. Bed was very comfortable and I always felt safe as a solo traveler. Location great. Access to many cafes, restaurants, beautiful walks.. Thank you Komang and family. Will return.

The villa is beautiful and there is a lovely view off the back verandah. All the staff were helpful and very lovely during our stay. However, it was not a private villa, the kitchen and pool are shared amongst other guest, but still very lovely. The location is also further away from the centre than shown on the map but still walkable to the main drag.
