Loved staying at Mangroove Bay Hostel! Staff were so friendly and welcoming, always a smile on their face. Amenities were awesome - a perfect pool to relax in with coffee or cocktails, ping pong, darts and a turtle hatchery to view. Make sure you head up to their sister resort sumberkima to watch sunset from the infinity pool! Bed was extra firm which we love and had room cleaned everyday :)

Not only did this place have the restaurant and pool and movie room and ping pong and yoga space and scooters for rent but they have a sister hotel that they have free shuttles to that has a full spa and other restaurants and a beautiful view. So it’s like two hotels in one type of experience. They are super helpful and clean your room daily if you want and not too many bugs either like some of my other places in Java had. I was super thankful for that. I Would recommend if you wanna have a peaceful getaway type experience. The only thing that was a downside was the bed wasn’t really comfy.

Beautiful place to stay. Hostel is clean and has beautiful outdoor areas. The pool and the terrace are great places to relax. The restaurant has great options Balinese and western cuisine. Staff is friendly and very welcoming!

Wir haben vier Schlafzimmer gebucht und sind im Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern und dem angeschlossenen Nebengebäude mit zwei weiteren Einheiten sehr gut mit allen Personen untergekommen. Die Unterkunft eignet sich daher auch optimal für größere Gruppen wie zum Beispiel ein Familientreffen um einige Tage in der Stadt zu verbringen und für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung.

Exactly what we expected! Perfectly located and Ari was fantastic. She came down to the beach with us so she could watch our things while we surfed & cooked us dinner and breakfast!

A nice place to stay. The main house is so homey. we can cook and make a coffee. Surprisingly, it was included breakfast. Widi was no nice and helpful. He also guided us to some places that were nice to visit. He also introduced the local food like Nasi Cawuk .

Herman s place in banyuwangi is a gem! Loved the Dutch style , the cleanliness, the plants and most of all the service which herman and his sons Wifi and Wafah provide . They arranged the ijen crater trek for me and also suggested a nice massage place to soothe my aching legs after it. I felt at home like staying at my brother or sister s place. I would go stay at any of of herman S places without thinking twice. No wonder ,he is a superhost. .Great place, great value , great hosts! what more can one want when u travel? 5 🌟all the way!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spacious house. The friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Situated right on the beachfront, we enjoyed swimming in the sea and jogging along the shore. The house itself is fantastic, with a swimming pool and a lovely garden where we could relax. There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a big twin bed, offering plenty of comfort and privacy. We stayed for just one night as a stopover on our way to Bali hotspots. If we had known how comfortable this house would be, we would have definitely booked an extra night or two. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
