This is the only house I have ever gone back to and I've been there 4 times. You will not find a winter waterfront view like this anywhere else. The home is spacious, quiet, and well kept.

We had an amazing time at Tracy’s place. We didn’t want to leave! The view was incredible, neighbors nearby but still had privacy, and close to downtown L’Anse if we needed anything. The fireplace and sauna added so much to our already relaxing stay. The layout and decor of the cabin was cute and perfect for the two of us. Tracy was great at communicating and checking to see if we needed anything without being overbearing. We definitely want to come for another stay at Rock Beach! Thank you so much, Tracy!

The accommodations were as described. The place was very well kept and clean. The large room upstairs over looking Portage Lake is beautiful. I would highly recommend. Hope to return next year

We loved staying at this fabulous place! So beautifully designed and decorated, high end appliances, spacious, very clean and new, peaceful and restful. Our family loved the three en suite bedrooms! We felt like we were in a dream home! Thank you so much for having us! The VanAst Family

Our stay was wonderful! We brought our son up to check out MTU and we are so thankful to have found a great place to stay nearby. I hope to make use of this home again over the next several years. We arrived in the area a little early (thanks to the great care the UP takes in clearing roads) and we were able to check in an hour early which allowed us to get our things settled before we had to head to campus. The home was clean and smelled great, everything we could have needed was available and more! Location is perfect, I loved being a little bit removed from ‘town’ but perfectly close to anything we needed. The area is beautiful and I look forward to more exploration. Plenty of space in a very cozy home with extra towels available. The bathroom even had shampoo, conditioner and body wash which was perfect as my son forgot his. Thanks again to Melanie and David for opening up their beautiful home to our family ❤️

Diane was very responsive to all of our questions. The view and vibe were fantastic, we really loved our rustic stay in the UP, complete with peak foliage and tons of wildlife. Kitchen is fully stocked, sauna gets hot, couch is comfy. A couple of things which are noteworthy, the cottage is not really in the populated part of L’Anse so going to the store/town is 20 min each way. There is a bunch of firewood outside to use which is very convenient. The waterfront fire ring seemed to be in the neighbors yard so we were unsure and didn’t use it, didn’t see any outdoor chairs to use around it either, was probably and oversight on our part and I’m sure if asked, this would have been answered right away :). The extra cottage is not attached and a little bit of a walk from main house, not ideal if traveling with kids fyi, but clearly stated in description. Everything is comfy and relaxing and we would come back here. Thank you.

It was my first time in the UP for the winter! Dave’s place was the perfect spot for our day trips around the Keweenaw peninsula. On our way to L’Anse it started snowing and Dave checked to make sure we made it and to let us know they were going to plow the driveway in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay while traveling to tour Michigan Tech. House was clean, communication was great.

I hate to leave a positive review because we want this place all to ourselves. The location is amazing to see anything and everything we wanted and more. Quite area right on the Keweenaw Bay, amazing sunrises every morning along with deer greeting you! The fenced in yard gave us time to relax as we didn't have to worry about our dogs every move.
