Barbade : chambres d'hôtel

We loved Barbados. The apartment is right at the beach, rather secluded. It's not near any town, so it's advisable to rent a car. The apartment was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We were a little disappointed not to find a washing machine in the apartment, but there was a laundry service for extra charge. The apartment is very open, meaning there are only shutters to be closed, which makes it very airy, but also you can hear the waves on the rocks very loudly. In any case, it is a very special place and made our stay most enjoyable.

Eine super Wohnung, flexibler Umgang betreffend eines Zusatzgastes der ein separates Bett benötigte, unkomplizierter Austausch mit allen extrem freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Angestellten dieser Inchcape Villas, eine Minute zum Meer, schöner Aussenbereich der allein zur Wohnung gehört mit diversen Sitzgelegenheiten und zwei Liegestühlen unter Kokospalmen: super! Herzlichen Dank. Es hat (was mit der Lage zu tun hat) nur ein Restaurant, zu Fuss 5 Minuten entfernt (Surfers Bay), welches jedoch erst ab 16 Uhr geöffnet hat, im Februar. Der nächste Supermarkt ist in Oistins, zwischen 5-10 Minuten per Auto erreichbar. Es braucht also ein Auto.

Enjoyed my stay! Would book to stay here again and will recommend to others! The apartment had everything I needed and was located in a great spot walking distance to the local grocery store, restaurants, the beach and transit. I felt safe in the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Overall great stay and great value. Thank you Bonanza!

The location was great. Easy access to restaurants, beach, and public transportation (within 0.5 mile walk). We really enjoyed the space, frequent cleanings, and a beautiful pool. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful view from the front porch. Great location. If you’re looking for night life this is the place, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Down side is the music from the bars can be heard and goes on into the night.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment. It has everything you would want but the main thing is it’s location. Close to super beaches where the sand is so soft you don’t really need the hired sun loungers which are available on some beaches. Just find a palm tree for some shade. Restaurants and bars are a few minutes walk away as is a small supermarket. We went to the Oistens Friday Fish Fry which was fun, we used a taxi but close enough for a good walk. Michelle was very responsive to any request. In summary - a great place to stay.

Our stay here was ideal for us. Possibly the BEST base location for restaurants and bars in the lively Gap area. Better than many of the bigger hotels in my opinion. Amazing restaurants within a few hundred meters or less. Bars ditto. Exactly as photos. Can be occasionally loud at night from neighbouring open fronted nightclub. Superb pool in the midst of the vibes of the area, in a good way. Great to have a kitchen & fridge freezer etc but didn't use much as eating at restaurants cheaper than shopping at the nearby supermarkets. Great little restaurant on site and perfect for breakfasts, drinks and more. All staff very friendly & helpful. Overall 5 out of 5. Would book again without hesitation.

Beautiful historic building in lovely setting. Relaxing and peaceful. Staff were absolutely excellent, so friendly and polite. Extremely comfortable bed in large airy bedroom. We had an amazing sea view. Shared kitchen had all the amenities we could need. Bar and restaurant had the best setting we’ve been in during our 3 holidays in Barbados. Served delicious cocktails and meals too. A wonderful end to our 6 weeks in the Caribbean.

My husband and I had a peaceful and comfortable weeklong stay at Hidden Gem. Ann-Marie and Ameena were lovely hosts - extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. The place was very calm and relaxing, located in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the pool area and called it our “oasis”. We enjoyed the home cooked breakfast and coffee each morning (try the guava jam if it’s available!). Some nights we brought back dinner to enjoy on the upstairs deck while listening to the waves and watching the full moon. From the hosts’ recommendations, we ended up enjoying one of my favorite nights of the trip in a lovely oceanfront restaurant with a live reggae band and lots of dancing. While the location is on the south of the island, it’s a 3 minute walk to the route taxi/bus stop or the hosts can help set you up with a taxi. Location is excellent for surfing and most days we watched kite surfers from the deck. We truly enjoyed our time and appreciate the hospitality!

I must say I enjoyed my stay at Maxwell's. It easily exceeded my expectations. A special mention must be made of ALL the friendly and helpful staff, who made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived and always had a welcoming smile (even when I lost my key fob. Twice!). The garden room allocated to me was fantastic! Maxwell's is located within walking distance of Oistins and St Lawrence Gap and on the main coast road, so is perfectly positioned for a great daytime and nighttime holiday experience. Also, the local taxi service favoured by Maxwell's was another plus point to an already amazing holiday! I got to see some offbeat local sights and visit family nearby in St Philip. The seven days I stayed in Maxwell's was idyllic, but, unfortunately for me, not long enough. I hope to return as soon as possible. I can highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, prefers a smaller, more intimate hotel where the staff have the time to get to know you and form a happy bond!

The ECO Lodge is situated on a beautiful and peaceful spot about 100 yards from the ocean. The breeze is ever present as is the roar of the surf. The room was very comfortable and roomy with a nice bathroom, small table for eating, and great covered porch. A small drawback was the thinness of the room walls as you can hear your neighbors occasionally. A highlight was the food. the breakfasts are tasty, filling and with good variety (included in room rate). If you choose to eat here you wont be disappointed as the food is creative and very well done. Also, note that all meals are under an outdoor covered eating area with the ocean and grounds all in sight. The other highlight at ECO is the wonderful staff - they are extremely helpful and kind. One caveat with this stay is that you are on the quiet East side -meaning the beach is great to look at and maybe wade at low tide up to your knees. Otherwise 30+ minute travel is needed for beaches and other activities.

Check in was easy but a bit delayed, however staff gave us a 50USD discount to make up for it. Throughout our stay they were lovely and took care of our room. It was my partners birthday and they gave us wine to celebrate. I can’t fault their service at all and will definitely come back!

As a solo woman traveller I felt safe staying at Sunset Lane Apartments. The pool was directly opposite my apartment its discreetly positioned plants meant I still had privacy and the resort was quiet, peaceful and maintained well, clean and tidy. There was always room around the pool area. Other guests were respectful and friendly. The apartment had all the basics I needed, it was comfortable and clean. I felt at home and like I was living in paradise for the price I had budgeted for. My hosts kept me well informed from day one of my booking and were very prompt when I required a response. They checked in on me during my stay to ensure everything was okay. I cannot recommend my experience high enough!! I had such a wonderful time and would return back to this apartment. A massive thank you to my reassuring hosts and for making my stay so easy and stress free! 🥰

Wir erhielten eine andere Unterkunft als gebucht, was aber nicht schlimm war. Die Größe, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung war perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern hat zu jeder Zeit hervorragend funktioniert. Der Parkplatz hinter dem Haus befindet sich noch im Umbau und war zunächst schwer zu finden. Als wir um einen großen Kochtopf gebeten haben, wurde dieser uns zeitnah gebracht. Sonst gab es alles wichtige in der Küche. Wir hatten erst kein heißes Wasser, woraufhin jedoch schnell ein Klempner geschickt wurde. Einen Tag gab es kein WLAN, was jedoch an dem Internetanbieter lag. Der Pool ist hervorragend und wurde gerne genutzt. Etwas störend war der laute Baulärm bis teilweise 23 Uhr in umliegenden Appartments. Davon hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst. Das Arbeitszeitende wurde nach unserer "Anfrage" jedoch früher. Dafür war ein Late-Checkout problemlos möglich. Die Lage ist ruhig, sicher und perfekt. Die kostenlose Waschmaschine ist ein Bonus. Wir würden hier immer wieder buchen!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Palms Resort! Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het zwembad is top, de dames van de receptie zijn zeer vriendelijk! Leuk dat ze ook nog een cocktail party organiseerde. Het bed vond ik persoonlijk wat aan de zachte kant! Maar verder, helemaal top!

Fantastic stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay at Royal Bliss (The Cottage-annex). Very good value for money. Wonderful Hosts who were available at all times. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and will be back as soon as so can.

Loved our stay at the Palms!! Great location and great staff.

This property is slightly set back from the main waterfront area which is actually an advantage: it misses out the over-activity and potential noise whilst remaining easy walkable distance to most things including all local amenities. The hosts were excellent in their communication and two minor things were repaired straight away. They got us in touch with local taxi and car hire as well. The property is good; we used the kitchen extensively. If there was a very minor point: some children staying in the property were a little noisy in the relatively small shared pool and the management could set up better instructions for parents.
