I recently stayed at Chris’ property, and it was absolutely fantastic! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into making the space both comfortable and welcoming. Loved it.

Marsha’s place, Lakeside, is ideal for a large group with 5 bedrooms, 3 living areas and 2 dining areas (including an undercover outdoor area) across two levels. It is just across the road from the Lake and a 10-15 minute stroll along the Lake into town. Marsha is a very responsive host and offers an earlier check-in compared to other places so we had more time to settle in and discover the surroundings on day 1. We all (including our dog) had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and have already booked to return later in the year!

What an enchanting experience! Exactly as the photos described, serene and secluded. Yurt was amazing, super cool on the hot days, then we had a couple of nights with rain which was wonderful and cozy inside. Everything you needed there - we stayed for 4 nights so my only suggestion would be if staying for more than a couple bring an esky, but we were happy to even have one. Shower was a huge highlight, along with the bath. Sharon was accommodating and warm. There are a lot of dirt roads around and access to the yurt is up quite a hill so I was glad we had gotten a 4WD. Heaps of wildlife - we saw cows, sheep, horses and even a few wombats!! We absolutely loved our stay and will always remember how magical it was.

Beautiful home with beautiful furnishings, it is like a home away from home, gorgeous garden, didn’t have any children but if we did they would have had so much fun in the cubby. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful stay. Perfect location. Was close to everything without feeling like you were in the thick of a big town. We had a wedding and was the perfect location to bring our 16mth old and grandparents along to babysit. Highly recommend. The few questions I had for Jack were quickly responded too. Very helpful

Everything was clean and well maintained. More than just the bare minimum in kitchen abs bathroom. Lovely view and close to everything. Host was very responsive.

An absolute gem tucked away in a peaceful location with breathtaking panoramic mountain views! Waking up to the serene beauty of nature and watching the sunset over the peaks was a truly unforgettable experience. The property was impeccably maintained, well-equipped, and offered the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect retreat. Can’t wait to return!

Stayed with Chas over the Australia Day weekend. Lovely little cottage, gorgeous views, walking distance to Whitfield and 5 min to a swimming hole at Gentle Annie. An added bonus were breakfast provisions and a coffee machine. The best part was the hammock - watching the sunset and then stargazing over a glass of complimentary Prosecco (a lovely touch). Appreciate all the local intel on wineries and attractions. Will definitely stay with Chas again!
