A great location , responsive host and in an area close and within walking distance of good restaurants and cafes, clean and as described, also included gated private parking which was easy to get in and out of. I would recommend.

Apartments was lovely, clean and comfortable. Mark & Donna gave us great instructions on how to find it and everything we needed to know. It was a great location with loads of restaurants, bars and shops close by and only a short walk into the centre. Really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location near York railway station and an easy walk into town. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local on the corner for provisions. It’s a beautiful apartment in immaculate condition and beds configured into 4 singles as we requested.

We had a very nice stay in Carole’s place. The apartment is spacious and well appointed and in a great location just a few minutes walk from the train station and city walls. Highly recommended!

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

We had a wedding in York and booked Dawn’s house on all the reviews and recommendations. We were not at all disappointed! Very spacious house with all we needed. Getting into town was easy and being near to the station was good for my son and his girlfriend who also stayed with us. I would throughly recommend staying here Dawn kept us informed on all aspects of our stay. Thank you for an amazing time!

Best Place in the town… Thanks

We enjoyed our stay in this property, it was decorated to a high standard and had a good amount of space for our needs. It had almost all the facilities we needed to celebrate Christmas (we needed to buy a few more trays for the oven but that was about it). One thing to be aware of that we missed when booking is that the bathroom is downstairs at the back of the house, behind the kitchen, which was a bit of a surprise as we didn't remember seeing that noted before booking, however didn't cause us too many issues during the visit. The only other thing to note is there were a few minor maintenance issues (missing/dead light bulbs for example) that should be fixed, however again this didn't cause any problems during the stay, just something that could be improved to fully bring out the potential of the space.

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

Loved our stay, it was even nicer in person than the photos! Beautiful property with gorgeous decor, tonnes of space, the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils etc. Smooth check in and easy walk into the town centre :)

Beautiful place to stay just outside the city centre with easy access to everything. Check-in was easy just walked in and phone Michael when we had arrived. Some scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Very clean and well presented property. Thank you very much Michael for giving us a beautiful place to stay for my partners birthday.

Samantha was a massive help in responding so quickly to our booking request! After our original accommodation with another provider got cancel on the check in day, Samantha saved the day. The accommodation was more than big enough for our group of 10 and had everything we needed. There was a coop shop just a quick walk away which was perfect for picking up some groceries. Accommodation was exactly what we were after for a city break in York, and Ashley did a great job communicating when the flat was ready for check-in, and there was a great information folder with lots of good tips.

Lovely luxury modern facilities and everything we needed for cooking treats away from home. A really comfy stay for all of us including our two doggies. Great for them to able to go for a walk right from the doorstep. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely views from a cosy apartment. Thank you so much for facilitating the perfect family weekend away to celebrate a birthday and some quality time together. Great to be both within a stones throw of Kendal for some lovely doggie friendly cafes and one of the best butcher shops around as well as being in the quietness of the countryside.

The apartment was beautifully furnished, spotless and incredibly comfortable. Set in a lovely town with some amazing restaurants very close by. Lottie was a fabulous host from the get go, arming us with local recommendations of where to eat and what to do. She is incredibly kind and responsive, answering all our questions promptly and with detail. I could not be more grateful to Lottie nor recommend the flat enough. We all had a wonderful time!

Our stay in Lawyers Loft was amazing. Even though it was right in the center of town the apartment was cosy and quiet. After exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales by day we parked and walked every where from the Loft. Would recommend this gem to everyone. Thanks Jane and Kevin

This is an extremely nice first floor flat. it is spacious and comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. it is about 25-30 minutes easy walk into town, via a nice park if you choose. The area is peaceful with coffee shops, a corner store, pubs and a supermarket all very near. The large open racecourse is also a short walk away. Tamas was very friendly and helpful, responding to a request to explain something speedily. I'd definitely recommend this very nice flat.

Extremely pleased with apartment-exactly as shown and described on the web-site. Very tastefully furnished. So easy to walk into the city. Cannot fault in any way. Amanda has an apartment to be very proud of. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to York.

What a beautiful apartment - well equipped, great view, comfortable and luxurious! There are thoughtful little touches everywhere. The sun is on the balcony most the day, making it a brilliant place to sit and read/eat/drink/take in the view, and watch the wildlife. There were clear instructions on how to operate all the equipment (kitchen, TVs etc) and where to put the recycling. The directions on how to get there are clear - even I could follow them! We could do walks from Kendal, and it was easy to get the the train or bus to Windermere for more walks/boat trips etc. Everything is provided to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you Paul and Becky for making our stay memorable.

Perfecte locatie! Alles wat we wilden zien/doen was op wandelafstand. De parkeerplaats is erg handig. Het is aan de krappe kant maar onze grote auto (VW Multivan T7 lange versie) pastte er net in. De woning is erg schoon en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Wij zouden hier zonder twijfel opnieuw willen verblijven.
