I didn't write much on the review prompts because it just wasn't needed. Jessica is a great host and the place doesn't feel like a hotel in disguise, it felt like a great place to make new memories. We're grateful for the warm ones we left with.

This was our third stay and we're sure to be back again! This is such a beautiful and peaceful cabin with everything you need and more. Right down to the decor and helpful instructions Isabel has thought of everything. She has been very helpful, friendly and communicative each time we've stayed here. If you're looking for serenity, views and relaxation you won't find a better place!

Gorgeous getaway less than 15 minutes from the mountain. The home was simple, yet just what our family needed. We were first a little surprised by the expense of the two night stay, but found that it was totally "worth it" due to the location, space inside the house, and most especially the hot tub and sauna. Instructions were clear and our stay was great. A rare find, we highly recommend the A frame House in Okemo. The only two areas for improvement are not the fault of the owners, and I am not sure that they could be improved- first off is the wildlife. It is in the middle of the woods, there will be mice. The bear box was also frustrating to throw the trash away as the snow made it difficult to access. The other "issue" was the distance from the car to the home. Again, the snow made loading the car/house a little difficult. We got over both of these issues, loved the house, and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much!

We stayed at Jennifer's cabin for our annual ski trip. The location is right next to Sugarbush and close to Mad River Glen, which meant we could get right on the slopes in the morning. The cabin was clean and cozy, with all the amenities you would want in a ski cabin. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after coming off the hill. Also, there were plenty of local restaurants to eat at close by. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at Wendi’s cabin in the woods. The layout is great, with easy stair access to the charming upstairs bedroom that offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest from every window. It is so peaceful, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Downstairs, the open flow from the living room to the kitchen and bathroom makes everything feel spacious and inviting. Wendy has clearly put a lot of thought into the details, and her eye for design really shines through. During my stay, we experienced an ice storm, the textures in forest were stunning, adding to the cabin's charm. Wendi was impressively responsive, reaching out to help me with a minor issue even after hours. If you’re looking for a charming and beautiful retreat in the woods with a fantastic host, this cabin is definitely the one for you. I highly recommend it!

The perfect place for our family’s ski trip. The cabin is exactly what you picture for a winter VT trip. Charming log cabin with a wood burning stove, but with all the modern comforts. We were only 5 minutes from Okemo and the hot tub was amazing after long ski days. Locked ski locker on the porch was convenient. Great kitchen so we could cook breakfast and hit the slopes early. The host gave clear instructions and lots of helpful recommendations - very friendly and quick to respond. Fire wood and log starters made the cabin cozy at night. Despite all the snow, the driveway was well plowed. It’s a quiet dead end road without traffic. We will definitely be back!

My family had a great time spring skiing at Sugarbush! The place was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was a perfect home base for our trip, and we’d happily stay here again.

What a unique and special property. Don’t think twice, you’ll know when you arrive. The sheer abundance of - quiet - was unbelievably refreshing. The wood fired hot tub is a favorite of all who stay, just read the guest log book. The space is immaculate and minimalist without sacrificing any modern amenities. There’s gobs of classic Vermont retreat to be had here. A perfect blend of off the beaten bath vibes, just outside a town where 75% of the residents are grad & law students! A quick drive down the mountain grants you access to the best tacos, burgers, and co-op market you could ask for. A short ride away and you’re in Woodstock. For two guests or less, you can’t help but feel revived in this intimate retreat. And it’s dog friendly!

This is an ideal spot for a winter getaway, and Matt goes above and beyond to provide guests with the best possible experience. During the day, we enjoyed snowshoeing and sledding on the property. At night, the stars truly amazed us. We also enjoyed the cozy fire in the wood stove…a very nice thing for the cold temps we were having. The house is well stocked and beds are comfortable. We are so grateful for the few days we spent recharging at Skip’s Place.

We had an awesome getaway at Kevin and Lesley’s cabin! This was our last little getaway before we get married this fall and it was the perfect unplugged retreat to feel connected going into the stressful time before the wedding. The cabin is cozy, the bathroom is adequate and sort of surprisingly not as buggy as it could have been, and the porch was my favorite spot to feel connected to nature. Kevin was very communicative and the instructions in the cabin were very clear. Luce’s lookout was amazing at the top and a really great recommendation by our hosts. We would definitely go back!

Heidi’s place was exactly what we wanted and needed. It was a beautiful location in the middle of the mountain. It is a private home, in a secluded location, but there were places available for food and entertainment not too far away. We got to hike and drive into towns to do some sight seeing and shopping. We absolutely enjoyed our stay

We absolutely loved our stay and we want to come back. The cabin is everything you would want - rustic but with all the comforts and amenities of home. The cabin is directly on the pond and a stones throw from walking trails. Communication with the hosts is excellent and they gave very clear instructions for how to reach and access the property. Serene and picturesque home in a great location. Couldn’t ask for more!

Dwayna was a phenomenal host; her cabin was clean and exceeded its description. We especially loved the surrounding trails. I highly recommend this stay to others and hope to be back next time we make the trip to Vermont!!

One of my favorite AirBnB stays ever! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable, memorable experience, this is it. The photos don't do it justice. This beautiful home was spotless, had so many amazing handmade artful features, and comfortably hosted our group of 5. Communication with Rik was excellent throughout, and he gave us excellent local recommendations. There are so many great surprises and personal touches in the home, so much space to explore - all in the comfort of modern, cozy amenities. Olivia’s place was clean and a convenient location to stay for our ski trip to Okemo. We stayed with 2 dogs and 2 adults, and that large mud room was a great amenity for the pups and to hang our ski stuff after a long day on the mountain. We stayed in mid-March, and as others have mentioned, the road leading to the place was a little tough to navigate as we faced some rain during our stay. Luckily we have an AWD car and brought it based on the reviews. We did get more comfortable navigating the road after the first couple days, but it did make us want to travel to and from the place as little as possible. Just something to be aware of, but overall the place served its purpose and was a good base camp.

We loved our time at this cozy cabin. It is very private and secluded. It had everything we needed for our stay. The wood stove heats things up quick and was easy to use. We were able to snowshoe right from the porch, as it snowed every day and there was plenty of property to explore. The cabin is close to alot of things we enjoyed. It is very bright and peaceful inside. The steps to the loft bedroom are steep, but we expected such. The road to the cabin can be sketchy with a fresh snow, but our AWD with all weather tires was more than capable. We did take it extra slow coming back down the hill to the main road as it had not been plowed. We would recommend to anyone wanting a private getaway and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin in the woods , nestled at the foothills of the mountains, we went around Peak Foilage in early October and couldn't have asked for better weather and accomodations. Elizabeth, an excellent host, Reccomended some people hikes and look out points by the river, and surprised us with breakfast goodies on a Sunday morning!! Looking forward to be back and would definitely recommend to others as well

This is a place that we are fortunate to go to each year. Our entire family loves the cabin and peaceful lake. I think this is our 7th year. If you’re looking for tranquil, this is the perfect place. I’m so grateful Sharon makes this home available for people to enjoy. We will continue to make sure we fit in a time each year to take advantage of the opportunity to stay and truly rest, we truly enjoy her place ! Thank you

This was the perfect spot for a ski weekend! The house was clean, easy to locate & it was easy to communicate with Robert. I could see us renting here again!

We wanted to check out Halley’s log cabin as a possible place to bring our dog when we come to this area to visit our daughter and her family. The cabin itself is very pet-friendly with good-sized rooms, and the surroundings are great for a dog to explore. The cabin is on a quiet road, and when I walked each day there was very little traffic, so safe for walking a dog! We found that it was very peaceful for sleeping. When we had a couple questions, Halley was very quick to respond. As several others have mentioned, you are not far from Quechee and Woodstock and the major highways, so if you want privacy and convenience then this place fits the bill.

Very cozy place and a super responsive host! Kim was very quick to solve any issues that came up and made sure we had a good experience!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was quiet and secluded in a beautiful setting. Misse replied to all our questions very quickly and provided some great hiking and dining tips. It was just a great weekend all around.
