A spick and span home, close to where I needed to be for my visit. My first time of actually staying in an AirBnB, I was tired both days so I was glad to have the comfy bed and quiet room to retire to on my arrival and after my meetings the following day. The host seems to be a well educated, multi-skilled, film buff with excellent taste - I felt safe and comfortable. I was glad I took my hot water bottle with me (my old bones need extra comfort these days) though I wouldn't be surprised if one would be available if required for anyone travelling more lightly.

Lovey break at Martins place. Everything we needed s add part from washing machine out of action. We didn’t need it snd Martin offered alternative solutions. Quite a tight track to the property but plenty of space for parking. Good position for visiting the beautiful area. Enjoyed Nelson and Charlie’s visits too.

Bob and Julie warmly welcomed me into their beautiful home. The room was cosy, comfortable, very clean and had everything I needed. Beautiful location and very quiet at night. Thank you!

Very nice place to stay. Jenny provided me excellent breakfast as well. Free cake&biscuits, plenty of choices of tea coffee with fresh milk in the fridge. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Very light, comfortable and elegant room at the top of the house. Everything you need to make yourself comfortable and at home. An excellent choice for an overnight stop on a cycling trip. Nice breakfast too.

Kevin was responsive to messages and all information was clear and concise. Very friendly and helpful. His place is immaculate and very convenient for my needs.

From the beautiful scent that fills the house to thoughtfully curated artwork, Weatherstone House is not your typical self-catering accommodation. The house has an opulent, relaxed vibe and the great location make this a unique and wonderful place to stay. Enjoyable evenings spent by the fire and an eclectic mix of vinyl made for an unforgettable weekend away. Our thanks to Dan for his help throughout the booking process, this was a family holiday we'll remember for a long time.

Ruth and Noah were great, friendly hosts. The space was peaceful and had everything we needed for a short stay while at a wedding. Ruth and Noah had good communication and were flexible, even when we needed to check in late. We particularly liked the power shower and cosy duvet and pillows. Could have very easily curled up with a book all day! We were thrilled to find some things for breakfast (bread, milk, jams, coffee etc.) when we arrived. It was a lovely touch and made our first morning very relaxed.

Stephen’s place is a self contained studio, consisting of a double bedroom with a large tv, bathroom/toilet, kitchen with all amenities and another tv. There is a small seating area outside. The place was very clean when we arrived. There are two electric heaters, keeping the place warm. Stephen left for us a bottle of wine and two bottles of water in a fridge. For breakfast we had a selection of four small boxes of cereals and a bottle of milk.

Wonderful studio clean tidy warm and cosy. Great location for a beautiful part of England, Richard was very welcoming and there was a great basket of breakfast goodies was perfect. Would definitely recommend

This was our 2nd stay at Chris and Johns and it was just as lovely. Chris is a wonderful host and very approachable and easy to talk to. Firscott is immaculate and has everything you need and with the lovely touch of tea coffee and milk etc and everything for breakfast. Its in a very quiet area with great views so is very relaxing just what we needed and within easy walking distance down to town. Thankyou again and we are looking forward to our next stay very soon

Our daughter and her husband stayed at The Smithy whilst visiting us in Chittlehampton. A perfect snug cottage used as a base. Everything they possibly needed. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and great shower. All the little extras made their stay perfect. Thank you Julie and Graham

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

It's difficult to 'say a few words' in the space allotted because from the welcome to the assistance with our departure, everything was perfection. I have owned a historic inn, am a participant in the Air B&B in the US and a world traveler and can say with confidence that our stay at The Cider Barn was the best Air B&B experience we've ever had. Louise is the consummate hostess and excels at gracious hospitality. She is a concierge who is not only knowledgeable but makes the experience happen. She generously provided transportation to and from a wedding reception for us as we found the small lane driving at night quite intimidating as Americans. Even finding the 'hidden gem' was a challenge for us but well worth it and we boosted our learning curve as time went on, all too quickly. The property is exquisite; it easily qualifies for submission in Architectural Digest. We are deeply grateful to Louise, our hostess, and any guest is fortunate to stay here.

Had a wonderful stay for 2 nights at the Lee House in Lynton. The room was immaculately clean and the attention to detail was superb. Perfect location which is very close to the town center and cafes/restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. Gregg provided us with a lot of great recommendations on things to do in the area. Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at Pamela's for our friend's wedding. She was extremely welcoming and accommodating, making the two day visit easy. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Cozy place, nice view

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Attentive from start to finish. Lots of communication and good directions. Relaxing and safe area for us and our dog. Lots of roaming room. Charlie the owners dog very friendly. Great big breakfast every day and a lot of effort made to ensure everything was ok but not overbearing. Catered for allergies and dietary needs. Lovely huge bed and separate bathroom which had the advertised spa bath… plus a large walk-in shower…unfortunately we did not use the bath. Relaxing place to stay away from the major towns so will need a vehicle to get about. Good base to travel from. Will definitely consider returning and recommending to others.
