This place was great for the group we had. Lots of seating outside and space indoors to spread out. Beds weren't super comfortable, but they were just fine. One word of warning...steps are a little slippery because they are wood and kind of shallow. Almost took a tumble. I would not have someone who is not sure footed staying in the upstairs part. We changed our plans and let the kids sleep up there and that worked out perfectly for us. Great place. Loved the Smores box. Thanks!!!!

Carrie was very friendly and prompt. We rent a large home every year and this one by far was our favorite. The beds were very comfortable and the house is beautiful. If you are looking for a peaceful place for a large group this property is wonderful. I would definitely rent this property again.

What a wonderful house! Justin has thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was very comfortable. The location is beautiful with decks and 2 fire pits. It is private and quiet and we would definitely recommend this home especially if you are coming with kids!

Had a great stay at Sasquatch Acres. Really nice spot l, peaceful but not too remote. Good location for exploring the surrounding area and the caves. Check in was easy, Lynn was proactive and directions excellent. Place was as described, has a nice cabin feel with some modern touches. Really relaxing few days with the family and dog, highly recommended.

We were traveling through the area and needed to make a quick booking. Stephanie’s listing was so wonderful I wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well, there was an outstanding coffee bar, and even lots of snacks provided. The lines and home were clean and there were lots of games and goodies on hand for those going to the nearby lake. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay at Stephanie’s!

Our stay was brief but welcoming and very accommodating. We are traveling and needed a last minute booking and Michelle was very helpful and quick to respond. Although it was a short overnight trip, we did notice some outside activities like Ring Toss. The porch had hanging lights, so definitely a nice relaxed, nighttime ambiance. We will definitely plan a longer stay the next time we are near Mammoth Cave National Park. Also, we highly recommend PJ’s Cafe that is just a quick drive into town for those looking for local bites.

I cannot say enough about this place! My family of 4 came to stay for a few nights and we could not be more pleased with this lakefront cottage. The views alone make the stay worthwhile…. a cup of coffee (or wine) on that porch was my favorite thing to do. We had lots of fun at the caves and zip-lining with the kids, but it was so nice to come back to such a cozy place. The decor is beautiful and functional. We had everything we needed and would stay here again! Our host was also amazing. She proactively shared details ahead of time so we knew just what to bring and what to expect. Check-in was a breeze. We even had a strong storm come through and knock out the power for an hour or two, but our host was in contact with us and set clear expectations of what to expect. If you’re headed to Mammoth Cave or just want a beautiful, relaxing lakefront cottage to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this place is perfection!

Stacey's place, Laken' it Easy, was wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful area and sitting on the porch with coffee in peaceful surroundings. The inside was clean, spaciously open and welcoming! Stacey left some delicious snacks for us, and a selection of coffee and teas. We were allowed a flexible checkout so our crew could get lunch before hitting the road. Stacey was very quick to respond to any communication. Definately a great place and I would recommend it to anyone! I would love to go back!

We enjoyed our two night stay at this place. A newer house, fitting the description and photos. It comes with a well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. It sits in a secluded, wooded area, with somewhat distant neighbors and with a view of the lake from the back porch. The firepit looked inviting, although we ran out of time to enjoy it. We were pleased to get to Prime on the TV easily to catchup on one of our shows.

Our vacation was great! Mostly because of the lake. It was so warm for most of our stay and the sunset was amazing. It was 5 mins away but we were there almost every day twice! The place was clean and we love the Smore's set prepared for us. Ed was very nice and helpful. It was not that far from the Mammoth Cave and Sand Cave Traihead. We loved the hiking trail very close Brigadoon State Nature Preserve (like 8-9 mins). First time in Kentucky was very successfull. Thank you for the stay!

Adorable cottage on the lake. My family loved it here and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Home was clean and comfortable with all needed amenities. We visited Mammoth Cave and hiked local trails. Would stay again if we visit the area!

Our stay had zero problems, no surprises and everything we were told was 100% accurate. The location is very peaceful and safe, the walk to the Lake each day was a great way to start the morning.
