Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing in the swing with morning coffee! There is a very nice charcoal grill with the charcoal and grilling utensils provided! The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were super comfortable and the bedrooms even had small fans for personal use.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Red Bird Cabin in Bee Spring!! The cabin was perfect for our needs on our Spring Break trip. Family of 4, kids 7 and 4 plus one small dog. We drove down from MI to stay near Mammoth Caves and get some relaxation and down time in warmer weather. The cabin was perfect for a family trip, our kids had an absolute blast! The kids loved playing on the play set, exploring outside, and s’mores every night! We had a couple rainy days and with the toys, books, and games at the cabin we still had plenty of fun. We utilized the covered “perch” with fireplace and large table to still spend time outside, it was perfect and the kids thought it was so cool to be outside in the rain. We did have a mishap with the hot tub during our visit, but the communication and gracious service of Justin and Damien was above and beyond! The location was private and peaceful, it was about 30 min drive to Mammoth Caves. Be ready to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch and relax!

We've stayed at a lot of cabins for fall and spring breaks with our kids & this is one of our absolute favorites! Everything was clean & comfortable, the hot tub is fantastic, and the layout of the house worked well for our family (kids in the basement, mom + dad in the upstairs master). There's an incredible amount of deck space (three levels!), and having coffee outside each morning was a highlight for me. The 18-hole disc golf course is a unique feature! My 7-year-old is just getting into disc golf, and we liked that we could just take him out to play a couple of holes at a time after spending the day doing other activities. A couple of things to know: (1) Grocery stores are few & far between in the area, so plan to bring most of what you need with you or to eat at local restaurants while you're out and about, (2) If you're visiting Mammoth Cave, look up information about the Green River Ferry -- not only is it a fun experience but it will save you a ton of driving time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Phillip’s place. We spent the first few days of the kiddos spring break here and visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. Mammoth Cave is about 40-50 minutes away but a really easy drive. It was nice to be away from things in such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The lake house was very nice, super well taken care of, and clean. Phillip was also proactive and responsive. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a serene getaway. Hot tub and game room were great bonuses too!

Our family had a great time at this very cute house. It was everything we expected. The hot tub was fun. The house had a great layout for all of us to sit down and play games at night. I highly recommend staying here.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean! We wanted to explore Mammoth Cave and visit Louisville, and this place was between those two. It is far from most things, which we're used to, and that meant it was peaceful and easy to justify staying in at night.

This cabin was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. Everything was so clean. It was bigger than we thought it would be which in our experience is usually the opposite. We just loved how private it was. Joe was very prompt in replying. Even letting us know where we could find a storm shelter when we had bad weather coming. This cabin along with the host is exactly what people want when using Airbnb. We couldn’t be more happy and thankful.

A very cozy cabin with a slice of appalachia near the caves next to the lake! I would definitely recommend and looking forward to revisiting next time! Only thing that bummed me out was having to go home. Great host with excellent communication!

Stay here! a lovely private location at the top of a hill. Out there - but worth it. We didn't mind the drive to different caves every day, and spent a lot of time in the cabin. It's well stocked and perfect for families. We loved playing games and cooking over the fire at night. Definitely would visit again.

We enjoyed staying at this historic home. The host was quick to respond and even kept us updated on severe weather that was headed to the area. We would definitely love to stay there again.

Lora's place is probably the best place we have stayed in. We are a large family, and travel plenty for sporting events. The kids were enamored with the home, The upstairs loft loaded with 6 beds was brilliant. As the chef, I felt right at home in her wonderful kitchen, and my wife loved all of the space for the family to spread out. This place will always be our home if we are near by. We Love this unique home, and its well stocked cabinets. Plenty of towels, and the restaurants and walmart are only 15 minutes away. Stay here, you will love it!

Cozy, clean cabin nestled in beautiful scenery with ponds, nearby lake for kayaking, hiking trail with cave, waterfall, Billy Goats gruff & trolls. Hosts were very responsive. Would be a great place for family reunions. Remote--DG Market about 20 minutes away. Large porches to relax & take in the views or firepit to gather around. Toured Crystal Onyx Cave with kitchy picture ops. Visited Bowling Green. Want to come back to track a corvette & visit museum. Booked 3 nights--should have planned a whole week!

What a comfortable place to stay! The beds were very comfortable and the house was so fun! Every where you turned you can find unique decorations and great art! And the 2 decks were very relaxing to sit on. Thanks for a great birthday weekend.

The cabin was exactly as we expected. We loved the quiet serene lake and the 360 degree wrap around porch. The wind chimes and sunset would cap off each night. It was a great place to reconnect with family. My daughter’s favorite part was the huge shower with awesome acoustics!

Absolutely beautiful stay. Came out for a weekend trip with 3 friends and the two full bathrooms along with 3 beds(and couch) were everything that we needed. Plenty of space and such a unique home!! A peaceful stay around 45 minutes away from mammoth cave. A gas station and dollar general around the corner about a 2 minute walk away provided for all of our immediate needs. Was weary of the few reviews but couldn’t have been happier. 10/10 couldn’t recommend this any more.

Such a neat little place full of nostalgia and character!! We had a great time with our 3 boys! We loved playing yard games, roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, and exploring the peaceful property. Peggy is an amazing host! Readily available to help when needed. Great place if you want something in between camping and a hotel. Comfortable beds, AC, farm fresh eggs and coffee in cabins. Would be great for family get togethers where each family could rent their own cabin. Had a great time meeting some of the other guests too! Recommend giving it a try. Not far from Glasgow, which has plenty of food options and stores. Worked out great for us!

A private secluded no frills, albeit well-worn & weathered, little off grid cabin in the pretty Amish countryside, but with solid beds, amazing camp stove, great propane heat etc. Bring firewood since most was damp there (or we couldn't find the drier wood pile of actual logs not woodshop lumber cuts) and we used extra duvets & pillows from our camper trailer for added comfort. Lots of outdoor space and even picketed fence around the cabin should your dog not have solid recall. Can't beat the beautiful surround of the woods & river below. Our running-breed dog loved it. Kids would love it too! Very peaceful. Exactly as described. Thanks for accomodating us!

Cute cozy cabin up in the woods. A perfect place to rest on our long road trip. Misty has really thought of everything you might need, the cabin is well stocked with lots of extras and fun things to do. We would definently stay again.

I can’t recommend this cabin enough! The host went above and beyond to make our stay special. Communication was clear from start to finish, and they were super flexible with our schedule. The cabin itself was clean and well-stocked with everything you might need—plenty of towels, kitchen essentials, and even thoughtful touches like cooking oils and spices. What really blew us away was the extra effort they put into celebrating my birthday. They left a sweet card, a delicious cake, and even a balloon—it was such a thoughtful surprise! You can tell they truly care about their guests. If you’re looking for a cozy, stress-free getaway with a host who pays attention to every detail, this is the place for you. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time at Nolin Lake. We chose this spot due to its proximity to Mammoth Cave. It was easy to get to and the place was secluded and quiet. Angela’s place was clean and was perfect for our family. The only thing I would say are the basement stairs are steep so if you have little kids just be aware! But we loved the games in the basement and the loft upstairs!
