My family and my brother’s family enjoyed our week here. Plenty of space for everyone and very peaceful. Kids loved the hot tub and barn with game room. It is remote and takes some time to get to places but we never had an issue with internet or getting to where we wanted to go. Would recommend this place to others!

This was just a magical little place. My husband and I and our two teens all loved it. We only stayed two nights but spent them both by the outdoor fireplace, and I spent the mornings reading on the porch swings. We loved the pond with its bullfrogs and teeny tadpoles. The house is charmingly decorated and landscaped, and there are lots of thoughtful touches, like park maps, area guides, and bug spray (which we didn’t need in mid-April but I’m sure will be helpful later in the year). The bed linens were nice and bath towels were super soft and fluffy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is very close to the entrance to Mammoth Cave National Park - I think it took us about 10-15 minutes to reach the Visitors Center. We will absolutely stay again if we’re in the area!!

Cozy, clean cabin nestled in beautiful scenery with ponds, nearby lake for kayaking, hiking trail with cave, waterfall, Billy Goats gruff & trolls. Hosts were very responsive. Would be a great place for family reunions. Remote--DG Market about 20 minutes away. Large porches to relax & take in the views or firepit to gather around. Toured Crystal Onyx Cave with kitchy picture ops. Visited Bowling Green. Want to come back to track a corvette & visit museum. Booked 3 nights--should have planned a whole week!

We absolutely loved Kim's place and so did our little dogs. The fenced in backyard was a huge hit. Kim's place is located across the street from a very large cemetery which was very convenient to take our dogs for walks without worrying about traffic. There are lots of restaurants and stores located nearby so everything is very convenient to get to. Kim was super easy and friendly to communicate with. We would highly recommend her place and are hopeful to have the opportunity to stay again.

I cannot say enough about this place! My family of 4 came to stay for a few nights and we could not be more pleased with this lakefront cottage. The views alone make the stay worthwhile…. a cup of coffee (or wine) on that porch was my favorite thing to do. We had lots of fun at the caves and zip-lining with the kids, but it was so nice to come back to such a cozy place. The decor is beautiful and functional. We had everything we needed and would stay here again! Our host was also amazing. She proactively shared details ahead of time so we knew just what to bring and what to expect. Check-in was a breeze. We even had a strong storm come through and knock out the power for an hour or two, but our host was in contact with us and set clear expectations of what to expect. If you’re headed to Mammoth Cave or just want a beautiful, relaxing lakefront cottage to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this place is perfection!

Lora's place is probably the best place we have stayed in. We are a large family, and travel plenty for sporting events. The kids were enamored with the home, The upstairs loft loaded with 6 beds was brilliant. As the chef, I felt right at home in her wonderful kitchen, and my wife loved all of the space for the family to spread out. This place will always be our home if we are near by. We Love this unique home, and its well stocked cabinets. Plenty of towels, and the restaurants and walmart are only 15 minutes away. Stay here, you will love it!

We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful little cabin in the woods, setup was very cool and unique. We plan to return in the future!

To say that the cottages were amazing is just not enough. The surroundings, the stay, the furnishings were simply perfect for my families stay for my daughters wedding weekend. We were all able to be close as the cottages are just a hundred yards or so from the main house. This enabled us to enjoy so much together. I would highly recommend staying at both places if you have a large family and want a great get a way. I cannot say enough about the host and their generosity. They made the weekend magical.

Janie has a beatiful tiny home that we only spent one night in, but could easily spend a week there. Janie was amazing with communication and even offered a late check out. Unfortunately i couldn't take her up on that because we had an early tour at mammoth cave. Great private place close by alot of great attractions and restaurants!
