The house is in an amazing location, only a ten minute walk to the beach and town centre. There are small convenience shops close by and larger shops also within walking distance or driving. The apartment was clean and spacious. We had a lovely time.

Super toller Aufenthalt! Lage ist perfekt und direkt am Meer. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ein Restaurant befinset sich 2 Minuten entfernt. Die Anlage ist ein Traum!

Would definitely recommend as close to parks and beach.

We enjoyed our stay very clean well presented. Lots of towels blankets not that they were needed . Well equipped kitchen . We didn’t actually spend much time i. The flat because we were sharing Christmas with my daughter and 3 grandchildren . Bed was comfy . We have a christening coming soon so definitely would look to stay there again . Great location for llantwit and marcross where my daughter lives .

So many positives to say about our stay here. I came with my two little ones (both under two years old) and the layout of the annex was perfect, with zero stairs to worry about for my toddler. The location was tucked away and peaceful at all hours, enabling good night stays for everyone! The place was very clean and had comfortable furnishings. I am already familiar with the area, having grown up in Penarth, but the place is a good location about ten minutes walk from the town centre where the shops and restaurants are. My visit was overall very pleasant and I hope to visit Awel y Môr for future visits as it suits our little family very well! Thank you for hosting

Lovely short stay at Leytons apartment. Wonderful location right on the coast at Rest Bay. The beach, beach cafe and coast walks right on the doorstep. Apartment was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and homely. Apartment also super clean. Leyton was very responsive with communication. Really enjoyed our stay and we will be back again for sure hopefully when the weather is better!! Thank you :)

This place is amazing, my wife and I stayed for five nights in April. The place is in an apartment block right in the city centre. It's was spotlessly clean with a fully functional kitchen including a washing machine and dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. It is so close to everything, a few minutes walk from the train and bus station and almost next door to a huge shopping centre and right opposite is a Tesco express. There is a designated parking space under the building which is so convenient. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Cardiff.

A great place to stay. The house is spacious and well equipped and very clean. A great location for getting in to Cardiff by train or bus, but also near a peaceful woodland walk and the common. An easy drive along the coast, so best of both worlds. Friendly local pubs and we can recommend the Chinese takeaway.

Beautiful property with everything you need. Great instructions on how everything works. Had a family member using wheelchair and had great access with wide doorways .

Everything was brilliant

This was our third stay and it’s just a beautiful place. Some new beds and furnishings during this visit, which made it even better! It smelled amazing and is so homely. Jay and Ffion are the best hosts I’ve encountered, they are great! We’ll be back soon 🙂

We had a lovely stay at Bronwen's cottage. The fresh flowers were lovely to walk into. The space was even nicer than we expected and we had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. We wish we had more time so we would love to return in the future. The cottage was super clean and we had everything we needed. We don't drive and found everything we needed was in walking distance, next time we come we will leave a bit earlier to make the most of the lovely beaches/ castles that are a bit further away. It was extra special that we were able to see the cats sunbathing in the garden. Thank you Bronwen!

We’ve just got back from a 3 night stay as 2 x families of 4 with children aging from 4-10. The house itself was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very well equipped - at no point did we need something that wasn’t there! Very spacious, light and calming interiors with plenty of areas for the kids and adults to reside comfortably, and also an ample sized garden. The location was also fantastic - walking distance to the Coast and a great pub! A short drive from Barry Island and Cefn Gaby Farm Park, as well as plenty of supermarkets. A great base, relatively central to South Wales. Our host was great with communication. She’d kindly and timely provided all the information we needed so we didn’t need to ask anything whilst we were there. Would absolutely recommend and hope to visit again one day!

Lovely property which matched the listing photos, in a quiet cull de sac only a couple of minutes walk to coastal path & sea. Plenty of facilities to make you feel at home straight away. Sandra our host was excellent with any enquiry we had and all the information about the house and local area.

A fantastic place to stay with a private parking space which is a bonus! A central location to walk to Cardiff Bay and into the City Centre. The accommodation itself was absolutely spotless, had lovely added extras and was extremely quiet. Tony was a fab host with excellent communication throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend! Just back from staying at this wonderful apartment. The location is perfect - fantastic views over Rest Bay and the most incredible sunsets. The place was spotlessly clean and stocked. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back soon.

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

What a stunning location, views to die for. Enjoying a coffee on the terrace this morning watching the golfers, with the waves lapping in the background. Superbly kitted out with a nice cafe/bar 100yards away. Would certainly recommend and stay there again.

Informal and friendly hosts, helpful but not over-attentive during our stay. Lovely living space, full of character with great views. Would stay again if we’re in that part of the world

The four of us had an excellent stay here as we visited family nearby. Great hosts who offered lots of helpful recommendations and were very friendly. Very clean flat and comfy beds! Clear instructions on how to access and parking suggestions too.

Emma and Jay welcomed us on arrival, we're very friendly. As we know the area quite well anyway, no need to inform us of where to get anywhere as such, but reliably informed us Llantwit Major was easily walkable. The place had everything and more than. we needed for a weekend break and was spotless. Would definitely use again.

Great place to stay and very close to the beach. Easy check in. All towels and linen were fresh. Great amenities - shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, washing up liquid. Everything was clean. Quiet area. Would come back!
