This house was even better IRL. We were nervous to book it since there were only two other reviews but we’re so glad we did! The location was a close drive to downtown and the airport. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but the home was completely gated so we felt safe inside. The pool can be heated (to the same temperature as the hot tub) but it’s an extra ($35?) fee. There are two loungers to lay on and two chairs with ottomans. They have plenty of towels for the pool. The home was decorated beautifully. The kitchen was stocked with bar ware (shakers and cups including plastic ones for outdoor use). There were plenty of seating areas and space to hang out and areas for privacy as well. The bedrooms were nice and spacious as well as the closets. There’s a master bedroom downstairs and a room upstairs with an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms upstairs have another full bathroom that is accessible. There’s a separate casita located on the same property with its own pool

Our stay at Shelley's place was lovely! The house is so spacious, was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and amazing views. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect to relax and have a good night's sleep. When I first saw the listing, I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the sofa bed in bedroom 4 would be. It turned out that I picked this room for me and my husband: it's spacious, has its own bathroom and the bed is VERY comfy, in addition to the best views! The other bedrooms were also great, cozy and with perfect levels privacy. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Communication with Shelley was excellent, she is a fantastic host!

Nelma's home was incredible. It truly exceeded my expectations. It's a space surrounded by nature where you can forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life! It's also designed to relax and entertain children. I found a place where my daughters, my pet, my sisters, and I could share quality family time and enjoy our free time just a few hours from The Woodlands! We would definitely return. By the way beds were very confortable and main bathroom has a Jacuzzi that can give us a warm and relaxing bobble bath!! Try it!! Tanks you Nelma and Mona!

Angela home was very nice and welcoming the kitchen was amazing enough space and all the amenities to cook for a Christmas gathering. Her home is very spacious the game room was a plus. The backyard was lovely nice and cozy. Thank you for allowing me and my family to share your home. I would definitely recommend.

The place was clean and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay! Plenty of parking spaces which was perfect for a car rental around Austin. Our beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you!

We found this place to be exceptionally clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The abundance of towels and extra linens made using the pullout bed very convenient. The kitchen was a definite plus, with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans, and we especially appreciated the filtered water in the fridge. Having a washer and dryer was incredibly handy for keeping our clothes fresh. The location's walkability to the Amtrak station and Whole Foods was a major advantage. While a couple of Uber drivers had a little trouble finding the exact location, it all worked out in the end. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we'd highly recommend it, particularly for anyone wanting to experience the vibrant 6th Street area of Austin.

This is a great apartment. We found it to be very comfortable and it is just as it was described. The location is convenient to shops and there are several nice restaurants literally right out the main entrance. The secure on site parking was a definite plus. Joey is an excellent host, very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a perfect location if you want to enjoy Downtown Austin. It is easy to grab an UBER or walk to several South Congress and Downtown restaurants and attraction. Communication was fast and clear. An adjustment for our stay had to be made, and all was smooth and easy. The space is great and exactly how the listing describes.

The home was a perfect place to get away from the city. It was quiet and very spacious with the comfort of enjoying a family weekend. Danielle and her husband are great hosts and answered any question needed. Only thing I didn't like is I couldn't stay longer due to work haha. I will be getting this place again for an actual vacation with longer time to relax. My mother loved it and the hot tub was her favorite spot. Danielle look for me going to your place again and I thank you personally for you and your husband hospitality.

We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

The grandkids loved it. Youngest one loved the ping pong. Mid Grandkid loved the fitness center, basketball and pickleball courts. And the oldest loved the pool. Convenient location, local grocery store and eateries. Close to Austin and local sites.

Our men’s weekend retreat at this Airbnb was incredible! It was the perfect place for ministry, community, and good old-fashioned “dudes being dudes.” The home was clean, well-stocked, and welcoming—ideal for deep conversations, prayer, and fellowship. It gave us the space to step away from life’s busyness, take a break from family responsibilities, and reset to be better husbands, fathers, and leaders. We enjoyed great food, outdoor fun, and plenty of laughs. We left recharged and encouraged. Huge thanks to Kimberly for an amazing stay—highly recommend for any group looking to connect and refresh!

Tom's place is even prettier than the pictures reflect. The description is spot-on, and this charming and peaceful house has a terrific view of Lake Travis -- even while sitting inside on of the two very comfy sofas. It's a perfect place for a weekend getaway and is not far at all from shopping; it's only about 25 min from downtown Austin. It feels like you're far away in the country, though. Tom is a great host and is helpful if needed but otherwise very laid-back. We'll hopefully be back!

Kathy was an amazing host!!! the house was in incredible condition when we got ther and she was super communicative the whole time! We drove down from OKC and had some car troubles when we arrived and needed to stay extra days, she was very understanding and willing to help us while we figured out our plan to get back home!
