Barú District, Chiriquí : locations de vacances

Elvire es súper buena anfitriona y el lugar es precioso! Excelente para disfrutar del mar, súper rico el clima, la casa preciosa. Me encantó! Altamente recomendado!!

We had a wonderful stay at Gary & Barbara’s casita. We had such a great time when we stayed there last year that we came back and brought 2 friends! The casita is very clean, beds are especially comfortable and we very much enjoyed the pool. Gary & Barbara had great suggestions for beaches to go to, restaurants and things to do in the area. We hope to come back next year!

Es una casa de campo, sencilla, pero muy espaciosa y acogedora. Apenas entras, sientes que has llegado a la casa de tus abuelos, con recuerdos y fotos de la niñez. Cada habitación bien equipada con su(s) cómoda(s) cama(s) y A/C, lo cual es muy necesario dado el clima característico del Distrito del Barú. Pudimos dormir tranquilos y descansar previo a las actividades que nos esperaban durante el día. Es excelente para viajes de paseo con niños, lo cual fue nuestro caso. La cocina tenía los utensilios necesarios para preparar alimentos. Todo estaba limpio. La disponibilidad y pronta comunicación de Julissa fue el aspecto que sobresalió en este listing.

LOVED this place. We felt right at home. Cindy and Mathieu were wonderful hosts. Friendly and helpful. Recommended some wonderful local restaurants and were a wealth of information for the area. The kitchen STOCKED. You can cook meals and have everything you need. The beach is super close and so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again and bring some friends.

They dealt with the current Puerto Armuelles water crisis well with tanks and a well. The neighbours were friendly despite our lack of Spanish. When the muni-water went out for 4 days, they made sure we got water from the water truck. A great chino mini-super 3.5 blocks away. The food in local restaurants was great, as was the food from the local fruit & veggie trucks/stands. Lots of shopping options for all the basics especially food. I expected given how far away it was that the food prices were going to be high but they weren't. The A/C's worked great, the fans were helpful and let us avoid running the A/C's all the time. Great beaches. Made a trip to mono feliz (happy monkey), teeth rattling road but lovely when we got there. We plan to go back and my kids have begged that we pick this place specifically for several reasons including the friendly kids who let them practice soccer with them even though they knew we were only there for a short time (4 weeks.) Rustic. Comfortable.
