Wow! This place is definitely a little piece of paradise! If you are looking for some rustic relaxation away from everything this is definitely the place to go. It has everything you need and more. Stunning views and very close to a little private beach. Perfect for big or small groups. Outstanding host. Highly recommended! We will be back. Book without hesitation!

Tout ce que l'on peut attendre et apprécier d'un airbnb. Des personnes aimables, souriantes, un petit déjeuner offert avec vu sur la mer. Selon moi, ce logement vaut plus que ce que vous en demandez. On aurait apprécié rester plus longtemps. Et nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir si nous sommes dans le coin. Magnifique

Judy and her place are excellent with a great view and just best to near by spots. She is not just a great host but a great chef and tour guide. I want to especially also talk about the great food that she and her team put on the table for the guests. they accomodate to every request you put forward. Amazing experience always book for more than 1 day.

All of the other reviews have praised the location, and this one does too. But this review also praises the house: it is super-practical for a beach-front home - solidly and comfortably furnished with nothing finicky to fuss over. This meant we could kick off our shoes and relax! A high-five to Monica (the lady who cleans the house) because she magically made the beach sand that we and our dogs brought in disappear …

I am so happy we booked to stay at Linda’s place! She was the most thoughtful host. We had to cancel on our first evening due to my husband’s work schedule and she graciously offered that we stay another night seeing that she didn’t have any bookings. The pictures don’t justify the beautiful space she created - a perfect place to rest and retreat. We will definitely recommend staying with Linda for your trip to Morgan’s Bay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and appreciated William’s help while there. Matt went out of his way to ensure we enjoy our time there. The cottage is well equipped and we had no electricity issues. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

Our first visit to the Transkei.. what an amazing experience! We loved every minute of it.. The cottage is comfortable, has everything you may need, and the most amazing view of the beach. Leading up to our stay Patricia was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. During our stay Corina was very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend Davisons Cottage for your next visit to the beautiful Transkei! Hope to be visiting myself again in the not too distant future..

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Oase von Eybe und Alicia war einer unserer besten Unterkünfte Wunderbares Rundhaus und wunderbare Außendusche. Aber besonders war der Kontakt zu dieser wunderbaren Familie, die es einem erlauben in ihre Welt einzutauchen Danke dafür !!!! Und für das großartige Essen an eurem Tisch. Unser 4&4 Pickup hat uns souverän zum Grundstück gebracht Wanderung zum Hole in the Wall war großartig und von der Familie organisiert Südafrika auf eine besondere Art kennengelernt Gabriele und Klaus

Ein wunderschöner Ort für Rucksacktouristen die gerne einen Joint rauchen und nicht ein fünf Sterne Hotel erwarten.! Die Anfahrt ist weit und am besten mit einem Jeep zu machen, dann trifft ihr auf wirklich liebe entspannte Menschen.! Proviant mitbringen wenn möglich, alles was ihr gerne habt, es ist kein Restaurant in weitem Umkreis und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr begrenzt.! Am besten alles mitbringen was man gerne hat, dann lebt man bei Lu und Ihren Freunden wie im Paradies...!!!

Lets start by saying what a lovely warm hearted host. The place was amazing clean ready to go no thinking twice. Everything you needed and some more. Beautiful garden that you see when you relaxing outside. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Morgan’s bay is a corner of paradise, but Bridget’s place makes it even more so! The place has got a stunning double view on the lagoon and the forest. The room was very spacious and well kept in all the details. The patio for the breakfast with the lagoon view is extremely relaxing and mindful. And then there’s Bridget. An amazing host! She took great care of me and checked in very proactively as I was travelling from afar. She has been extremely helpful and friendly. And, what an amazing breakfast! It felt like home all along. Super recommended both for a short and long stay in beautiful Morgan’s bay!
