We had a lovely Easter weekend here as a three-generation family – grandparents, parents, and young children all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is absolutely beautiful , stylish, and full of character, set in a peaceful spot, it even includes an old water-mill. The location was ideal for us with easy access to Oxford and the surrounding area. There’s a new children's play area just a short walk away, and the local farm shop nearby was perfect for picking up fresh produce and treats – we had everything we needed without having to go far. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the house was spotless with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for everyone to relax.

Stunning !! Tucked away and so private . Everything just worked so well for our family of 12 . The layout of the house and garden were perfect ! You literally are in the middle of the forest surrounded by wildlife and nature . It was hard to leave the house but our recommendation for a family day out would be Moors Valley Country Park . Katie thank you ! And please let us come back next year !!!

What a fabulous place. We had a family reunion at the lodge and it was the perfect space. Brilliant facilities and everything was really clean and comfortable. Beautiful views across the lake were an added bonus.

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

Had a long weekend with the family and it was a great base. The apartment was clean, comfy and had a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge which was great as we had multiple family groups that all bought lots of food. The main house is fabulous to look at and we could appreciate it's beauty. The pool was beautiful too, warm and relaxing...although personally we would have rather paid more at booking and the access be bookable but included in the price but understand this wouldn't suit everybody. There was lots of outdoor seating, garden games, ping pong and a large chess game and small climbing frame which were welcomed touches. We were left to our own devices despite the building being connected to home owners which we appreciated. Our only criticism was there are signs put out to show private garden areas but with dogs and children this can be a bit harder to control so some clearer boundaries might be more helpful for future guests. We’ve just had a wonderful three night stay and it was absolutely perfect. The house is amazing, so much space, beautiful surroundings and everything is so clean and tidy. The pictures don’t actually do it justice, the space is incredible. The swimming pool is the icing on the cake, really big, so well kept and really warm. The kids loved it! Nicola is amazing and gave loads of great recommendations to eat and visit and is very responsive to any requests. Can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked for two nights and it felt really homely and comfortable. Fiona was responsive right from the get go and was a really friendly host. She even asked if we needed a highchair and baby gate, which was a really kind to offer travelling with a toddler. My daughter also really enjoyed playing on the children’s playground and the surrounding areas were beautiful. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and would happily stay again if we were in the area. Thank you!

If you are thinking about starting an Airbnb, Mary’s place is a great example of how to do things right. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and to be honest I wouldn’t change a thing. Mary was pro-active, friendly and helpful and gave me clear instructions as to how to access the place, where to park etc. I have already booked for later this year and will find myself in the same area next year; I will be back!

Natalie was amazing! She provided an early check in for weary travelers, she went out of her way to provide extra heaters for us. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and quick response to questions and concerns!

As stated by other reviewers, the location was great with the Cathedral, the market, restaurants, and shops within easy walking distance; and the house is lovely with lots of space. Specifically for us, we were visiting family so we hosted guests. We had 8 of us for dinner and had room for everyone. My father-in-law turned 99 while we were there, and the house was within an easy mobility scooter ride from his home in Salisbury, and the bathroom on the main floor made it accessible for him. This meant we could have long visits with him at our place, which was lovely. We will definitely be in touch with William to stay in his house again.

I chose this house for our 3 generation family group because the are Reviews seemed so good and the photos were enticing. It lived up to expectations! It is a really lovely, spacious house for 10. Very well furnished and v comfy beds. Everything looked clean and fresh. The kitchen / dining area is especially good and well thought out. The outside playroom with children’s games and extra toys was a real bonus. Our children loved playing in the garden. The area is lovely and Birdham quiet. We had a great afternoon on the amazing beach at West Wittering. We all said it would be lovely to return again.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The town centre is a perfect distance away that you can walk in in about 10-15mins but far enough away to not feel like you're staying in a busy town centre. Louise sorted us parking permits out and we easily parked 3 cars in the local streets, not right outside but this wasn't an issue. The house is great, 4 good sized clean bedrooms, a lounge, dining area and kitchen. Louise had left us a few goodies and some milk as a welcome gift, Tesco is a short walk away to grab any other bits you need and we had a lovely meal out locally too, plus lots of recommendations of good places to go. Thank you for a very lovely weekend.

It was a lovely place, a very good wide space for everyone to enjoy the evenings in. Lovely location for our needs with a very responsive host to answer all questions we had. Will 100% recommend.

This house is lovely and was perfect for a short stay for us 4 adults. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and homely. An easy walk into the centre of town made for a very pleasant evening stroll along the canal.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Plenty of space for a group to get together. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Close to Salisbury, but equally perfect for being in the countryside. Highly recommend the pub nearby- delicious food!

Eva was a fantastic host - so friendly, communicative and very accommodating. We stayed in the property over Christmas - it was very spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Eva made it feel so welcoming and homely for us. She left welcome treats for the children and the adults, and a manual with all the ‘need to know’ information. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils we needed for our Christmas dinner! The property is superb and in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed many walks around the local countryside and enjoyed watching the wildlife in the back garden - deer, foxes, pheasants, squirrels, as well as the resident chickens! We had the perfect stay. Thank you so much to Eva and her family.

We had another good stay at Vans’s place. Very spacious and quiet property.

Sarah was a great host. House is perfect for our stay with our dog Scooby and our grown up son and daughter. Really great location and very comfortable.had everything we needed. Loved the games room.
